  • Options of Z10 No blackBerry for contacts in the call log

    Dear all,

It seems to be a feature missing from the call log.

You can send SMS, Email, MMS to people registered in the call log.

in earlier systems of BB, when you open your call log by pressing the green call button, you get a list of all the people who called you, missed calls, dialed calls. Whenever you move the bar on one of these numbers and then click on the Logo of BB button (menu access), you get a lot of different options, including sending SMS or MMS.

With the new OS 10, this feature is not there. I confronted HELL trying SMS from someone who had just called me.

I received a phone call from a unknown mobile one of the sellers phone number and he asked me to send him a number by SMS. After getting the number for him, I went in the call log (since it is not stored in my contacts) and tried to view the search options for SMS options. He wasn't there! I had to add the provider contacts and from there, I could see all the options.

Is it possible to do it from the call log?

Never tried it before, but he managed to escape earlier. This isn't a fault with Blackberry, here's how:

    1. on the call log, touch the number and hold the key until the menu appears on the right side

    2. click the icon "View details call" high

    3. on the bottom, you can type 'Text' to send an SMS to this number

    Hope this helps

  • Function of Smartphones SMS blackBerry gone wild

    Hello

Help me please. I got my 8220 again a few days ago on the o2 UK network.

I have the mail function works very well and I'm happy with that however, my sms functions have been crazy and worsens, as days go by. When I get a text message, it says on the main screen, the icon in the upper left corner of the number of loans to read, but when I go to the sms screen it doesn't show messages. To be able to read them, I have to go to the display folder, select sms Inbox to read it and I then have to do the same thing again to fetch the second message.

When I click on the sms option in the main menu screen is empty, but when I go to view the files and select each Inbox or send there all the previous posts, I then try to delete messages and it wont let me delete them and the screen then freeze.

Messages appear all jumbled up, when they are the same person. It seems not now send messages and displays all messages I tried to send this afternoon as pending (a small red clock in the upper left corner of the screen of messages).

Someone help me please as this is driving me crazy and I want to send again.

Basically, I want to just show him the menu sms and messages as it would on a normal cell phone, that's what I was led to believe he would do when I got the phone.

First thing? Check the file without Options > Status, what is the number to the free file?
Now, remove the battery from your device, hold a minute, replace, and restart. What is the free file now?

  • Name of the sender of blackBerry Smartphones not presented in SMS

I have a problem with a brand new Bold 9700.  When you receive a text (SMS) the user name is not displayed, just their mobile number details.   Details of the person are stored in my contacts on the phone and if you click on options for the text message, it then the numbers on the name of the sender, as it adds to their name in the e-mail options, call, SMS, etc.

I went in the SMS options and initially seen as the option ' display the names of "was marked as 'no '.  I thought: aha changed to 'Yes', but this makes no difference.

    My o/s is v5.0.0.344 (Platform 5.1.0.96)

Carrier is Vodafone in the United Kingdom

I've seen other posts updates, but they were o/s version 4xx, which seems to be a different version to mine (which seems as odd as mine is a new phone) and so had kind of fear of trying it on my o/s.

    Any help would be appreciated

The fix for this is one of two things:

Either change ALL your phone numbers you text and receive the text to remove the (parentheses)...

    Or, upgrade the operating system...

  • Verification code not get two-step for app store purchase.

When you download from the app store, Apple requires the user id and "password followed by verification code displayed on your other devices".

This is EXTREMELY vague and badly phrased:

-It does not say where to find this code. I guess it's supposed to appear in the notifications, but does not work.

-It does not say the link has been "sent". He says it's 'on' these devices. It is somewhere in the settings?

-Once I found, I'm supposed to just glue it on the end of my password in the same field? It's weird.

-There is no SMS option because connecting to iCloud and no link for support.

For some reason, I never receive notices of audit on one of my devices, but connecting to iCloud at least offers an SMS option that works.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones read Message of Confirmation

    Hello
Can someone tell me what box is to click on the tab sms option to make sure that I get to know when my sms sent has been read by the person receiving my sms.
All together there r 4 options, bt, which is the right one?

    Not quite...

The two teams 'allow' control what is happening on your end, when you receive an SMS. If the sender has a confirmation request (for example, they had their two boxes to 'Confirm' checked), then these selections control "Allow" on your BB if your of will honor this request (the check boxes checked) or ignore it (the unchecked boxes). Sender will have no knowledge of what you have not selected... everything will happen is they will receive or not received confirmation that they asked, as the case may be, you have checked or not checked these boxes "allow."

The second group to 'Confirm' boxes have to do with what you are asking when you send an SMS. If you check these boxes, ask you received for the SMS you send. But, at the reception to you to demand will be dictated by the configuration of the recipient (for example, if the do not check their boxes "Allow", then your request will be ignored) as well as the capabilities of the systems involved in the SMS traffic (for example, the other carrier SMS system can simply ignore your request at the reception).

And Yes, this feature is the same for the email.

It's a strange fact tht'm already report discount for my sms without the option to get the delivery report ON (a small capital D on the sign of the tick)...

It's strange because your image on the screen indicates your BB asking only read received but no delivery. But these elements are odd, especially with SMS. You must put no value in the accuracy of the results of this IMHO.

  • OSB MQ integration using MQTransport

    Hello

I can't integrate OSB11g and Websphere MQ 6.0. I use the HermesJMSv1.14 queue browser to display messages in the WMQ. I have essentially two issues here.

    Question 2

to deliver one that I saw this error...

This isn't a problem with your input message... reason is mq transport is not able to analyse the JMS headers. If you send any jms client message like Hermes she jms headers with the message and transport mq would fail to validate payload... to tweak it, you can ignore the RFH2 properties in the properties of the service proxy... but really depends on condition if customers would use the JMS api to send messages on MQ or MQ native APIs...

    Thank you
