SOAP.jar loading in a 10g database

Hello

We recently moved from an Oracle 9i to 10g database.
On the Oracle 9i, we used the guidelines referred to in the http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/jsp/pdf/JavaDB_Use_Case.pdf to set up communication with a secure Web service.

However after the new basis of these same files JAR no longer seem to be valid. Well, actually only the SOAP.jar load is no longer in the database. She complained about missing classes (OracleSOAPHTTPConnection cannot be resolved) - the "funniest" however is that exactly this class is defined in SOAP.jar if you open the jar file.

Can someone give me advice on what could be wrong--of course miss me something quite fundamental - I'm at a loss for what this could be good.

    Well, you use a non-patched database.
    XMLTable just appeared in this version and was still implemented in Java, where the relatively slow to deal with expressions of XPath 1.0 compared to the old function of XMLSequence (written in C).

    I used it successfully on a database 11g only. The documentation says its built specifically for text Oracle 11 g, Oracle 11 g database functionality. Then... I guess I'm saying I think you need DB Oracle 11g, 10g will not help you.

  • Data period multi loading flat file to database ASO

    FDM gurus,

    We try to load Plan data for 12 months to an Essbase ASO using FDMEE database.

    We followed the documented specification stage in the format of import for amount (column = < start >, < end >) AND choosing the "multi-period Text file (contiguous period)' in the data load the rule.

    However, the Validation fails even for period dimension he complained of "value without Source for UD3".  {The UD3 in our case is be the period}

    Our record of flat file looks like in below:

    Dim1, Dim2,Dim3,Dim4Dim5,6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12

    Import mappings formats, I also see the dimension of 'period '. Could be the problem? As you know, database planning, it does not show.

    You don't have to specify which version you're on.

    When you set the size of the target Application you set period of your ASO [size target class] cube dimension as period?

    Try and that should remove it from the map area of import Format.

    I just got my hands on a series of database 10g on a customer site, but as the 'control_management_pack_access' exists only in 11 g I tried to run some queries online but I still don't know what to hear from him. Here is the result on the production DB

    I think that simply verify that the customers license agreement is usually a steer better. It's the Enterprise edition, they will be installed by default, if you do not use them. Oracle has a series of similar scripts to GDR that determine which has been used or not used in case they are a site audit. It is quite easy with older versions for some to inadvertently use AWR etc.

    If it's a customer site I guess someone will have a beef about what is and what is not used (what previous DBA or developers had access to the). The client would know that their license is or be able to know of their Oracle customer support rep? I think in 10G, these reports were not unreliable (ready to use) so it would be quite convenient to query and see if snapshots are populated.

    Is it possible to abort the sql loader with force when a value is not present? I have data like this file

    1,4,5,9 are the types of records, if you see this line 5. XXX123 | XXX | 1| .. 1 represents a number of detail line, my requirement is if the number of detail line is null for the record type 5 then I want to abort the sqlloader.

    Is this possible?

    you were clear, and I did a quick test. Unfortunately you can not do this check in SQL * Loader as the WHEN in the control file clause allows not just GOLD.

    Even if you add this check using a constraint in your table and specify the maximum number of errors to 0, SQL * Loader will load the files until this error.

    Let me show you an example:

    (1) create a table with a constraint that, for record_type detail_line_number 5, may not be null.

    As you can see that the input file has the fourth line with record_type = 5 and detail_line_num NULL. It is a mistake of the constraint.

    Here I used the control file:

    SQL * Loader performs only 3 folders because it encounters an error in line 4 and having specified errors = 0 will not continue to load. In fact, the process will continue until she reached the point of validation (in this case 100 lines), but it is not loading any record after the error, or continue to read the file.

    So, if I check the table

    If the maximum number of errors is exceeded, SQL * Loader stops loading documents in any table and the work accomplished so far is committed.

    As you can see SQL * Loader to interrupt the treatment, but it engage in any case files until this error.

    Another solution is to create an external table in Oracle and do all the checks you want before you copy your table in a database table, as suggested BluShadow.

    I currently have a problem with a project, I am working at a client:

    I managed to load multiple xml files in the GR 11 2 database Oracle using sqlloader and given that the intention is to be able to query the loaded data, it is necessary
    to remove the xml table in a 'normal' table, which also went well.

    Because most XML files contain multiple records, I used the fn:string - join the option in the insert into... statement select and use one. as the delimiter.
    That's where I met the thing that I can't find a solution for.
    When there are multiple records in the xml file, it inserts all records in a record.

    Yes, simply load as many files that you want to process in the XMLType table, and then run the query.

    If you import a single schema, you could just start importing and then correct errors (even back the schema and re - import).
