• URL of Publication of social sharing

  We submitted an application multi-folio for couple of days approval back.

  The numbers of magazines that we plan to publish are free to download. During the process of creating applications through "Generator of DPS App", we have the installer places a social sharing by e-mail, twitter and copy link.

  Now, the DPS App Wizard, he asked "post url" in which we mentioned the address of the Web site for the magazine.

  My question is, when people leave the article is how our relevant Web site address? We would have the Folio hosted on our Web site in order to have this option? or will pass directly through the DPS Server?

• 0 x 80070035 and 0X80004005 error codes when you try to connect to other computers and devices on the same network - unable to connect to the shared devices.

  I have a network consisting of Windows 7 laptop computers, an XP laptop and a Wireless Linksys (Cisco) WRT610 N + N with storage attached to it via its USB port.  Your PC Windows 7 has, since I can see and access to other computers and devices on storage.  Since Windows 7 PC B I can not connect (via the file manager) to A PC or NAS storage network.  Get such as 0 x 80070035 and 0X80004005 error codes when you try to connect to the IP address on the device name.  When I ping the devices of PC B I have no trouble to achieve.

  I turned off all firewalls, added the LMHOST file entries and a myriad of other tests and still cannot connect to PC B devices.  I can surf the net fine and do everything else - simply cannot connect to other devices even if these other devices can connect to me.

  I was in there for 22 years and has worked as an engineer on major networks and the network I stem - anyone got any idead. I checked all the basics such as Netbios, file sharing etc etc.

  It took a reinstall (upgrade) to get actually it works again.

• Adding (and test) social sharing - live app

  We have a direct application to which our customers want social sharing to be added. We can rebuild the application without problem, however, I wonder if there is a way to live content currently 'Free' so that we can test the functionality, without the current users of the application being invited to download the updated content (because it will not actually be changed)? Folios we have direct at the moment are all resolved 'protected '.

  You can create a test application with a test of applications account. Publish the folio on account of the application and test from there. Else update the existing live app application account ask for the update anyway, there is no other way.

  I am trying to know what version of DPS, you must turn on bookmarks and social sharing? We currently have a single edition and I think I've read somewhere that you can only activate these features in a multi-folio, but want to double check that I can't find the source, I read that as. Thank you.

  That is right. Publishers Professional and Enterprise can enable Favorites and social sharing in applications multi-folio.

• Urgent question about V23 and social sharing

  We publish our first series of questions using the viewer V23. Social, sharing, which worked well in previous numbers across all associated formats, now only works with the iPad made a SD (768 x 1024). HD (2048 x 1536) rendering returns the link to the default URL instead of the online content viewer. Everything is implemented as before except for the fact that the two fact sheets were published in PDF format.

  We had a small glitch this week and Social treatment has failed. We have fixed the problem and fix the issues involved including your was a.

  Your should be fixed now. You should be able to only publish PDF issues no problem, so no need for the PNG version.

  If anyone reading this has the same problem. The issues concerned should be fixed by EOD today. The other way to fix it is to simply "Update" the problem in Folio Producer since we deployed a solution of production.

  Yesterday I bought a new iMac. I discovered that I had 5 authorized computers when I tried to configure it. I found myself meet my MacBook Pro, which I will give my child once I'm done transferring data, in order to allow the new Mac.

  How can I find out what other Mac my ID Apple is on? Is there another way out remove all to clear the computers I no longer use? What is the difference between the home sharing and family shares anyway?

  Home sharing allows another iTunes (on another computer) to access your library.  If we could watch a movie from your desk at home on your laptop at home.

  All devices must be signed on the same identifier Apple to use the function.

  Family sharing allows different apple ID (family members) to share purchased content.

  Use the home sharing on your Mac or PC

• Driver DVD disappear from 'My computer' and 'Device Manager '.

  Vista HP Portable DVD player continues to disappear from 'My computer' and 'Device Manager '. Already tried Upper/LowerFilters.

  Hi, a few weeks ago, the DVD burner in the laptop suddenly disappearedmy computer (Windows Explorer).  The first thing I did was check theDevice Manager to see if the drive was there.  It was not the case.  Restarting the laptop did nothing.  Repeated several times, active Vista updates.  No change.  By checking the net, I tried to delete the Upper/LowerFilters in the registry, download it tool Microsoft fix , delete iTunes, do a system restore, to change all the parameters of thesleep and hibernation off and a few other things.  It appeared for the first time after that:

  1. Do a restore of the system for the first restore point.
  2. Remove the DVD writer.
  3. Restarting the laptop.
  4. Research of new hardware in Device Manager .
  5. Change all parameters of standby and Hibernate off. (I tried this method without this step first, but the drive disappeared after the computer went to sleep and woke up.)  Tried 3 times with the same results).
  6. Closing.
  7. Reinsert the DVD burner.

  On the next reboot, the DVD writer has been recognized and ended up in my computer and Device Manager .  No errors of any kind and no drivers were installed at startup.

  What has happened since then, in the last 4 or 5 days, is randomly disappears from thedesktop .  Usually after a few hours or more.  This time, however, it usually appears inDevice Manager after a search of new material.  No reboot required.  It will read from a DVD .avi files each time.  It has not been detected byDevice Manager maybe about 2 or 3 times, and after a simple reboot, it will be present inmy computer and Device Manager automatically after a reboot.  I read that the superior/UpperFilter mark has worked for many people, but for some, the problem returns.  In addition, many of the discussions on this question and proofreading are years.  It happened about 10 days ago.  Within 2 days before the problem appeared first, it was an update of windows, but also an update of iTunes.

  I noticed that I received this error when opening iTunes:

  "The registry settings used by the iTunes for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can occur as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes. ''

  I have not reinstalled, no DVD player.  Uninstalled itunes again.  Since I finally got the drive to appear (using the method I described above), I did bother to reinstall iTunes because I particularly need it on this computer, worried that it may be the cause of the original problem and I wanted to see if the disc disappears again.  I did do it, however, let QuickTime installed.  Don't know if this could be a problem?

  I stumbled upon this suggestion, but I also had the same question as the next post, and I have not seen a response.  I don't know if or how I should try:

  You can not go back if the restore points aren't there. Try to reinstall the IDE driver.

  To do:
  -Click on the round to start and right click on computer
  -Left click on properties, this will open the system window
  -Click on device high Managerin left
  -Click on continue if prompted by UAC
  -Goto the 'IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers' you should right click on uninstall and restart

  Well, I tried what you said, but the IDE ATA/ATAP controllers has a (+), so when I select it does give me not an option to uninstall. It is for me (analysis of the physical changes (or) properties).       and if I click on the (+) sign I have 4 different options. 2 channels IDE, Intel (R) 82801 HEM / HBM SATA AHCI controller and Intel(r) ICH8M Ultra ATA Storage controllers - 2850.

  What I see in "Device Manager", under IDE ATA/ATAP controllers is:

  IDE channel (x 4)

  Ricoh Memory Stick Controller

  Ricoh SD/MMC Host Controller

  Ricoh xD-Picture Card Controller

  Controller of PCI standard IDE dual channel (x 2)

  The laptop is about 2 years and never had problems.  The DVD burner is hardly used to burn, maybe a total of 5 disks in this time.  It has been used occasionally to read or copy from, but not much.  I'm not convinced that he is dead, as I had 2 die on me in desktop computers, after burning hundreds of CDs in them and read much.

  in any case, I was not able to find any bugs or suggestions (with the exception of 'replace' the reader), so I just wanted to describe my specific situation and see if anyone could help out.  Forgive me for information, I have left out, but I am an amateur when it comes to the problems with the computer and still don't know what mean things or where I can get information on my OS, software or hardware.  All anyone can do would be greatly appreciated.

  Windows Home Premium SP1, completely up to date.  Windows Firewall is enabled.

  Try to keep the file sharing and printers on a home network.  Try changing the settings on the control panel; All Control Panel items: Center network and sharing; Advanced sharing settings.

  When I stop the Windows Firewall service, I can activate the sharing I want.  Of course the windows firewall prevents sharing I would do on my network.

  I'm uncomfortable with Miss having a firewall work on my computer.  How to configure my Win 7 machine windows firewall to allow communications with my homegroup?  I tried to restore the default values.  This did not allow the communication.  I tried to find the homegroup settings in the advanced settings of the windows firewall.  No luck there.

  Looks like the Windows firewall prevents the discovery network, files and printers, sharing, public sharing of files and streaming media. We will analyze and identify the cause of the problem.

  You have a third-party antivirus installed on the computer program?

  Method 1:

  To turn on network discovery
  
  1. Open advanced sharing settings by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the search box, type network, click Network and sharing Center, and then, in the left pane, click on change settings for sharing advanced.
  2. click on the chevron to expand the current network profile.
  3. click turn on network discovery and then click on save changes. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide
  confirmation.

  If any of these responses not solve the issue, let us then run the sfc scan and check if any file system is corrupt. I also recommend to perform a clean boot in order to find the root cause of the problem.

• USB key not in Explorer and devices, but this Manager in the BIOS

  I tried troubleshooting, then also same problem continuesm, my pen drive icon is not there in "explore and Device Manager» but I checked in the BIOS, its name from s showing pen drive with precision.

  I shared your post from the old thread from your USB key is not lock up your PC as the SPÖ a. (previous thread: USB key works not on Windows 7, system hangs up and need to restart )

  You could try to save all the files on your USB key to another source and then try to reformat the drive on a PC that recognizes it (try formatting in FAT32 and NTFS to see if one or the other works) and check if your Windows 7 system can find it later.

  Test yourself on a preflight application? If so, create a new application control upstream, and it should work.

  Sharing comes from the article which is read.

  Article = an action. It is not the HTML here, it is the structure of your content in 2015 of DPS.

  in general, the signature should not change in a scenario you desrcibed.

  The ESX host allows you to create a data store VMFS on this LUN collects information provided by the table.

  This information will be used to generate a signature (the process itself is still not published by VMware).

  The signature itself is stored in the VMFS data store and is always used when the Renumeriser SCSI operations.

  Whenever an ESX Server perform a reboot or rescan operation, the following procedure will be used (high level).

  The ESX Server will

  • analyze the SCSI bus and collects information for SCSI on any device seen
  • Search for an existing partition table and the types of known partitions
  • for each VMFS data store found it will read the signature
  • checks if the signature matches with SCSI information
    • matches, continue to accumulate the VMFS datastore
    • does not, this VMFS datastore is not mounted automatically because it is identified as an "instant" feature

  So you could access easily other ESX servers on this device when each ESX Server does not see the device with the same SCSI information.

  As a best practice, each server ESX shoud see such device shared with the same LUN ID.

  The modern paintings are capable of presenting storage devices with different LUN ID in an initiator (HBA) basis.

  Another thing to keep in mind that ports in frontend used table use the same Port SCSI/flag settings, but these indicators may differ between vendors.

  If these two basic requirements are met, you will be able to share the easy storage device between multiple ESX servers.
