  My client is trying to use social sharing feature (part of the article on someone's facebook wall) in the application of business for some reason any. I tried to build the iOS app to the APP generator business and social sharing feature didn't work at all (the error message: unable to share.) Sorry, this article is not available for sharing).  I think maybe the APP business is for internal use and not able to share any content outside the company. Does anyone have experience the service within the enterprise app? Please notify. Thank you very much.

• Social sharing - App Viewer URL not displayed

  I have included social sharing in our multifolio app however when an item is shared, the URL of the application is displayed instead of the URL of app Viewer showing the actual article.  I activated in the administration area web viewer. What I am doing wrong?

  You unprotect one of your articles and republish? Unless remove you the items they cannot be shared, and they are protected by default.

• Social sharing and device orientation

  Is it possible to let the social sharing feature of Sprint 20 share not only the folio but keep in mind the orientation of the device?

  Currently the landscape view is presented first. Even users who share the point of view of portrait eventually share the view of landscape first. As the content may be completely different between landscape and portrait or landscape can be an icon 'rotation '. It's just confusing (at least with our test panel).

  It could be that I missed a setting but I can just find a way to lock sharing in 'Show all first portrait', or better yet - to show what the drive shared (passing on the orientation of the device).

  It is true, that we do not account to what direction a folio has been shared at.

  This is an idea for improvement and great observation however. Thanks for the comments.

  I am trying to know what version of DPS, you must turn on bookmarks and social sharing? We currently have a single edition and I think I've read somewhere that you can only activate these features in a multi-folio, but want to double check that I can't find the source, I read that as. Thank you.

  That is right. Publishers Professional and Enterprise can enable Favorites and social sharing in applications multi-folio.

• Urgent question about V23 and social sharing

  We publish our first series of questions using the viewer V23. Social, sharing, which worked well in previous numbers across all associated formats, now only works with the iPad made a SD (768 x 1024). HD (2048 x 1536) rendering returns the link to the default URL instead of the online content viewer. Everything is implemented as before except for the fact that the two fact sheets were published in PDF format.

  I took just to watch closer documentation and wonder if I should not only protected items in rendering SD, leaving the protected HD articles. The documentation seems to indicate this, but we have always protected the two renditions before and everything worked fine.

  What Miss me? We are on deadline and need to push another set of "renditions" is out today. Thanks to everyone in advance for any help.

  We had a small glitch this week and Social treatment has failed. We have fixed the problem and fix the issues involved including your was a.

  Your should be fixed now. You should be able to only publish PDF issues no problem, so no need for the PNG version.

  If anyone reading this has the same problem. The issues concerned should be fixed by EOD today. The other way to fix it is to simply "Update" the problem in Folio Producer since we deployed a solution of production.

  Can someone help with the following problem

  I did a V23, Multifolio Viewer with iTunes subscription.

  Folio articles are all unprotected

  Social sharing via Twitter and active E-mail

  Link is displayed in the email, but then the browser page remains empty

  Link I receive in email is the following:

  I forgot everything first allow the Web content viewer in my Office Admin DPS / account management. Stupid...

  

• Payment SDK deployment and testing Confusion

  I'm having a difficult time deployment and testing my application that uses the SDK to payment.

  I followed the documentation: I have app was transferred to App World then created a BlackBerry ID and registered under andbox BlackBerry ID e-mail account. I then conclusive to download the go to App World in opening and typing ALT + STST and then entered the code my application SKU. This resulted in the correct version being downloaded.

  However, when my application starts now give the error message 'Module 'paymentapi' ' could not be found even on devices with App World installed 3.1. I thought the whole point of payment SDK help is that he can count on being present?

  Advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

  I found the answer to my question, shortly after that I posted, so let me share the answer with anyone interested.

  The key is to include paymentapi.jar in the tab export in Eclipse, as described in this article of resources:

  You have configured your web viewer applications account in account management tool in the DPS dashboard?

  Also check access parameters section control what items a player can display in the DPS Folio producer Editor.

• Social sharing links work only not in v26

  We recently rebuilt our app for iPad only v25, v26 with Universal for the web viewer. In our version, v25, our social sharing has been installed and worked perfectly. For some reason, now that we have the v26 version, all our sharing links go to our redirect URL only.

I rechecked and social sharing is enabled in the App generator and Admin account in the box. We use WoodWing publishing so everything is and was not protected by default. • URL of Publication of social sharing

  We submitted an application multi-folio for couple of days approval back.

  The numbers of magazines that we plan to publish are free to download. During the process of creating applications through "Generator of DPS App", we have the installer places a social sharing by e-mail, twitter and copy link.

  Now, the DPS App Wizard, he asked "post url" in which we mentioned the address of the Web site for the magazine.

  My question is, when people leave the article is how our relevant Web site address? We would have the Folio hosted on our Web site in order to have this option? or will pass directly through the DPS Server?

  When we tried the feature sharing on dev app on the ipad, it just took us directly on our Web site and not article which is hosted in DPS?

  Have we done something wrong? or it works only when the application is in production?

  All items are protected by default, so social, sharing the work, your items must be unprotected. You control those producer Folio go.

• Built-in social sharing via URL custom rather than "renditions" folio

  We publish a free magazine on the iPad, and we have the same content available for free on our Web site. We would like to send all traffic sharing of the content of our Web site, rather than iPad app iPad through "renditions" folio content.

  Currently, we do this by coding buttons on every page of the iPad which, when we, take people to the corresponding HTML code content via Twitter and Facebook URL sharer. Of course, we would prefer if this could be done through the icon 'share' in the Viewer.

  Is it possible to configure the Viewer to send people to our URL for Facebook, Twitter and Email?

• Only the URL of published non-Web Viewer URL of social sharing links

  Initially, I created an application multi-folio DPS App Builder (Social sharing enabled according to the instructions), but I forgot to activate the Web Viewer on my account.

  This, by the documentation under Enable Web Viewer in this article: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/WS9293e1fb3b977c5c-6c5b4101331de1fd6a-80 00.primeras html, causes all SHARED links to the URL of the Publication. Oops!

  I have activated since the Web Viewer, republished my Folio AND generated by my app, and the share button Social in the application displays the URL of Publication and not the Viewer Web URL.

  I just need to be patient?  It has been a few hours.

  Also: is it possible to get the URL Web Viewer outside the sharing through the app?

• Can someone clarify the paywall for social sharing threshold setting?

  When you set up your DPS account for social sharing Adobe documentation notes that "The Paywall Threshold value determines how many items you want a user to be able to read it before you hit them with the paywall message."

  Programmatically how defined an article?  Is it the same as a horizontal scan the next page or the following table of contents entry?  I run some tests and I put our account number 3 and when I discovered these shared pages I can navigate clearly beyond 3 pages horizontally.  In fact the only way for me to reach the paywall is click on an item in the table of contents that are protected.  Can someone clarify the situation?

  Are a free portfolio articles? The paywall does not apply to items of free folios.  With v22, the paywall affects only the articles in detail folios.
