Help, please

Best regards jan

Hi Jan,

You absolutely want the driver Chipset on the following link.

http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp49501-50000/sp49523.exe

When the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

Let windows fully recharge, open windows control panel, then open the Device Manager.

Look for all the entries that are listed as "Unknown device" or have a warning (yellow) against them triangle.  For each of them, follow these steps.

Right-click on the device problem and select Properties.  Click on the Details tab, choose hardware ID in the drop-down list and post back with the details presented in the title of the value.

Kind regards

So I got a wireless mouse for my first time and it won't even install on my computer. It isn't the mouse because I tried other wireless mice and none of them work. In my device under other devices Manager there are only 2 USB receivers listed with question marks next to them. It is said that they can not find the drivers for the device. Then under my HIDDEN I tried to update the HID-compliant device and the USB input device, nor able to update. This is the message I get.  Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device. Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it. Peripheral HID-compliant, the system cannot find the specified file. I already contacted EVGA about the issue, because there is where I got my motherboard, but they said to contact Microsoft and I didn't really want to pay 50 dollars to send them an email. That's all just ridiculous.

Well, I found the solution, just in case anyone has the same problem.  Apparently some day caused Wireless does not work on several computers. So you go into Manager for all of these research and device drivers manually. Then, you look for in C/windows/winsxs. Then the wireless mouse/keyboard should work.

  • Maximum supported size of HARD drive for HP Elitebook 8440p Windows 7 Pro 64 bit runing

Hello, I just bought a HP Elitebook 8440p "off lease" of Tigerdirect and seeks to upgrade the two memory (from 4 GB to 8 GB) and put in the eligible of the biggest HARD drive I can. Either a 512 GB SSD or a 1 TB WD hybrid WD BLACK2 (1 TB HDD / 120 GB SSD Combo drive in a single package!). I would like to see more large disk addressable by using Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit OS since I don't seem able to find this info on the web. HP offers only only a 256 GB SSD in its specifications. but I didn't know if it was do limitations of BIOS or availability at the time of production, even for the HARD drive to 512 GB.

Also, I would like to know if 9.5 mm compliant Bay that it needs to be for the WD drive. Can't find that either, and while the new laptop has not yet happen, all measure exactly the same way regarding what works and what simply cannot be "cheated".

Thank you for taking the time to read this and NO information to that effect would be Greatl appreciated!

Essentially the reason why you do not have a maximum size of hard drive is because there is not everything. Between SATA and 64-bit OS', worrying about maximum size of hard drive is a thing of the past. Are the biggest readers found in the manual, as you suspected him, just a function of the market at the time of manufacture. It was a few years ago now, it is so understandable that the offerings were "at the time" more thin than now.

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

Page 4-9 shows the procedure of the Bay and the replacement of the hard disk. The Bay is made for a 9.5 mm thickness 2.5-inch wide SATA hard but the new 7 mm readers also works. The black hybrid drive requires some software (included in the package) to treat the two drives in Windows and I read a modest amount of disappointment in the documentation about them. If you can afford the 512 GB SSD go in this direction and you will not be sorry. I use a Samsung 840 Evo and it has worked perfectly for me for almost 2 years and the most recent 850 I hear is even better.

  • Installing drivers for HP M1319f on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

I upgraded a client to a new office of HP with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit OS. She has a HP Laserjet M1319f connected via USB. When I download and run from the driver download site on HP or download, save, and make the installation of the C drive, it gets to the point says "Adding printer drivers" and it crashes at two or four bars, so I have to kill it in the Task Manager. I tried to install it with the printer unplugged and got the same result. Windows OS printer drivers work fine.  What's up with the HP driver installation?

    Hi dpgerhardt,

    1. Open my computer
    2. Navigate to the location of C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\HP LaserJet M1319 MFP Series\Scan To and then create a shortcut on your desktop for hppscan0.exe

My automatic dialogue after working successfully for three years has decided to disappear. I run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I tried the wizard of Microsoft repair but it says that it doesn't work with 64 bit. I've been AutoPlay in Control Panel and reset the box ticked as well upstairs. NOTHING. I only am not a techno so would like any advice on how to recover my AutoPlay in simple terms dialog box.

Also, I run Firefox who advised me to remove Java because it feels, he is not sure what I did, now when I try to visit sites such as The Huffington Post the vidoes jam and will not play and each print page hangs and I have to close the session. Sometimes I get an overlay saying that a script may be unavailable or busy?

    1. try to perform a system restore before you start the problem with AutoPlay.

2 Java could not safe, but sometimes you need it, it's a legitimate component, then reinstall it. You can always turn it off when you don't need.

  • Performance index Windows CPU drops with new hard drive installed on Windows Home Premium 64 bit.

Hello world. I have a Toshiba laptop with Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit. 1 GB of GPU, 6 GB of ram, Intel i7 Q740 1.73 GHz. operating system has been pre-installed.

The old hard drive was 600 GB 5400 RPM 8 MB Cache. The new disk of 1 TB 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache. With the old drive the cpu had index of the 7.1. With the new disc, he fell to 5.6. all the other components even rated the two discs. Both discs have a 512th form. Searched everywhere for an answer and would like an answer, cause im very curious and puzzled. Health perfect new drive using disk setiniel and crystal HD... info old drive had bad sectors, but cpu always valued at 7.1. If someone can answer, I would be very grateful.

    SV

WEI is a completely arbitrary number and because it has been eliminated in the 8 win & win 10.  I would not be concerned about the number unless your computer is actually slower.  Your hard drive has nothing to do with the rating of the CPU.

  • Cannot install the fax software, guests for the disc of Windows XP SP3.

    Original title: copies of sp3.

I want to activate the function of fax on my computer. I have Windows XP and all 3 service packs. I have my copy of the disk but downloaded XP service packs on the net. When I try to get the fax software installed, he invites me to SP3 disk, which of course I don't, since I downloaded on the net. Is it possible to get a copy of the XP3 to get this feature on my computer or I go post about it? Thanx

Click on download and then save, does not work. Save the file and then burn it to a CD. That should do it.
