• Received notice that my account is closed by Apple

  I received an email "We notice that you do not use your iTunes account because a long time so we're abligate to close your account in accordance with our policy, including your email i-cloud also."  Is it a scam?  I buy via iTunes almost every month.  By clicking on the link to keep the account open and they want information of credit card and I'm not comfortable with that.  I'm worried because I need my icloud and my email.

  It is not Apple, it has a phishing e-mail attempts to get your account details and payment - you can transfer to Apple: and then delete it [email protected] .

  Hi, first post so excuse despises.
  On Mac OS X 10.6.8.
  When I start TB he moved to processor low use (0, 0-0, 1%) after the initial activity. There are some file access.
  After some use (cannot be precise if it could be as little as first check for mail, certainly with 20 minutes) the process uses 5.5% or more at any time when TB is 'inactive' as far as I'm concerned. There is a flow of constant IO even though many are stat or similar rather than full read/write.

  Also, several times I found the most much of my contacts are not available (even my own account acting) Although some are.
  It disappears if I restart TB.
  Haven't checked but suspect that these may be contacts in my contacts OSX/phone etc. Did not time check which is common to accounts that remain - suspect they would be accumulated addresses in TB files.

  Also, I was amazed how many fonts are opened by the CT (guessing almost everyone, I opened, several 100) which seems a strange thing to do if it is not really needed. I wonder if a file handle limit results in the problem of contacts.

  I hope that this gives to encourage thoughts. I can do some searching, but the clock is ticking right now.

  (I lost the weeks pass to TB from Outlook when Virgin UK moved to gmail hosted in their own platform.) A lot of data migrated but TB helps rebuild a functional archiving messaging system.)

  I use the iphone 6, which is out of the now (india) warranty period. I noticed a problem on the screen detaches from the main frame around one of the edges. It's the same problem happened to one of my friends who ultimately involving more areas progresed and encrypted him a good amount of money to repair! I searched online on the issue and learned that this has happened to many! I'm pretty sure that's not due to mishandling (which can easily be checked during the inspection) atleast in my case!

  I called apple in India care a couple of hours. Care agent told me that they can't do anything on this issue since his release from the warranty period (even if it's a manufacturing defect). I have a strong feeling that my question has not been properly processed there. Is not a manufacturer, selling a defective product ensuring there will be no problem in the first 6 months and declaring that they are not rsponsible for what past of the next day. It should not be considered on the side of manufacturers, it should rather be on the side of the average consumer, who spent a good amount of money to purchase!

  Kindly understand that I don't have time to run in the stores of stores and calls calls! I need a solution to the authorities of apple before moving on to the Court in India on behalf of fellow sufferers!

  If you are unhappy with the decision that is provided by Apple, you will need to discuss the issue with them.

  No doubt, something is stuck in the update mechanism. You could try the complete disassembly in the second box of troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates. Run the installer as administrator could help.

  This could be a problem with cookies.

  Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

• How can I empty trash after that deletion of items in the download file - when I click on the trash said notice

  I left items downloads in the trash, and when I tried to empty the trash I got a notice that it was unable to empty because of some elements.  Now, I can not find that notice and I can not open Trash because I get a notice that it's been emptied.

  Restart the computer and try again.

• iOS update notice - very annoying

  For the latest updates, Apple sent me a notice that a new iOS is available and it allows me to each update now or later.  But later means later tonight!  I get these every day or twice a day on my iPhone and iPad.  Seems that Apple has decided to copy Microsoft.

  Go to settings > general > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (the first) > and if there is an update to iOS, delete. Then, restart your phone.

  However please note that the next time you load your phone when connected to Wi - Fi, the update will be download again. There are no settings to prevent this, other than the disconnection of a Wi - Fi connection while charging. Also note that when you receive this notice the download has already occurred, all you have to do is install it.

  I can't access iCloud parameters. The icon is there, but when I click on it nothing happens. I went into general settings to ensure that no restrictions were on. Also recently noticed that the personal hotspot service is no longer available on my phone. How something like that just disappears?

  When you use one of these communities of Apple (on both computers with Internet Explorer), I noticed two oddities:

  1. the 'Reply' button to the OP works, but is empty. (It's all just a minor annoyance I can work around).

  2. when I click on the button to go to Page 2 all I get is a spinning wheel (to the top of the page) who says that it is loading (which never does).  (Why I can't see the first page of any discussion and cannot go any further.  I have not found a work around).

  I've never had either of these issues, but then again I'm on a Mac, so I can't try IE.
