Some Albums will not play

I just bought a refurb C250 v2 with the new firmware. I loaded albums on which have been torn by using WMP. Most of them works very well, while all of them are listed, some just flip through all the names of the song without playing them and then temporarily freezes. Hit the menu button allows you to return and other albums play very well. When it is connected to the computer I can click on the songs of 'bad' and that they will play via the media player very well. I reformatted and reloaded with no luck. In Solution Explorer, I noticed that some album C250 files contained a desktop (config?) file where others do not, but that doesn't seem to be an exclusive problem - some albums without this file played fine. Also the sampling rate in albums that wouldn't play all seemed to be 64 k while the rest were 128 k. I deleted and reripped album busy at 128 k, but it did not help. I don't know what else to try.

I recommend to use software for ripping quality rather than WMP or other applications 'DRM-flawed. " Exact Audio Copy is sorta the standard for those who know the BLADE is one of the best free encoders out there (and it is fully integrable with ABC); Make sure you that Setup you your freedb access too, so ABC can automatically ID3 information for you - fill low quality rips (for any reason, be it real bad sound definition, too aggressive compression, bad/missing meta-info or other) are for losers. (Tip: do not tear any less than 192 CBR).

  • Why some DVDs will not play in my computer DVD player?

I have a small collection of commercial DVD movies.  Most of them come from the place of the U.S. market, and some come from Asia... He play ALL these DVD in my Phillips DVD player that is connected to my TV.

But only some of these DVD will play in my DVD player which is in my computer Dell Inspiron 531 with Windows 7 Ultimate edition.  This computer has a DVD/CD SAMSUNG HD161HJ SCSI disk drive.

Some of the DVDs that will play on my computer are the American market, and some of them are of the Asian market, so I don't think that this has nothing to do with why some of these DVDs will not play on my computer.

DVDs that play fine in my Phillips DVD on my TV player that will not play on my computer don't yet seem to close at play on my computer.  The DVD that will play on my computer liquidation (you can hear the noise) in the DVD player in 20 seconds and they start playing automatically in Windows Media Player... but I welcomed all others who won't have to sit in the DVD player for several minutes each in my tests and nothing happens... There is no wind sound and all nothing is happening on the computer screen.

This doesn't seem to be a problem with the driver software for the disk hard because some of the DVDs will play.

None of these DVDs are buckled and all of them are clean.

I tried two or three times test each of DVDs that won't play, the removed from drive and put them back in.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hi Dale,

Although I never had no problem with the DVD or the CD I burned on PC, I think you're going to probably the same thing, that I've been with this internal DVD/CD player, is not a software problem, but just the characteristics of a lower quality DVD/CD player, and it isn't necessarily the symptoms of a dying man in car , but just a stock car low quality that some computer manufacturers cut corners with.
The drive in the computer that I was referring in this thread is a DVD/CD SAMSUNG HD161HJ SCSI disk drive. Which may or may not be identical or similar to the reader, you have problems with, but the computer on which the reader is underway is a Dell Inspiron 531.
Through the information that I've gathered on this thread and on another forum, I came to the conclusion that it's just a cheap player who gives intermittent performance recognizing various DVD, but as I said, the drive I troubleshooting always recognize DVDs and CDs that I burned in it... It was just the DVD movie that I have problems with.
I dug my loyal reader DVD LaCie and plugged and I had no problems with him acknowledging and play ONE of my DVDs on this machine, which proves that the problem has nothing to do with the software system or DVD player software, as in the case suggested by someone else on this thread.
Just buy yourself a Firewire drive or USB-2 DVD decent and you're probably fine.

  • Albums will not play without jumping through hoops!

I have a very strange problem about the music app on my iPhone 5 C. Until two days earlier, when I pressed on the white button play on an icon of albums, he would play all the songs in an album. But he suddenly decided yesterday that when I press the button to play an album, he only played the first song several times! For example, the first song in an album I listen to is called Revolver. When I go there to play, he repeats the first song Taxman, repeatedly. This also happens when I play another song or album. I can't have to proceed through an album or a playlist without a very tedious process to delete my "next up". I know this is trivial, but it is very annoying. I pored on each setting and menu I can think to look, but I can't seem to solve this problem! Help, please!

PS: I just updated to the latest version that I can tell.

On your iPhone, tap the name of the song playing at the bottom of the screen in the music app.

You should now see mix and repeat the controls at the bottom of the screen.

Turn on repeat off the coast.

I click and drag the music a new reading list, but some songs are not highlighted in the play list and will not play on my device.  Why?

    Try two things...

    (1) the songs greyed out can be unchecked. Uncheck the songs are normally excluded from track to track synchronization and normal. With the help of the songs or the list view Ctrl + click on an empty box to check all the boxes in the list of active reading.

    (2) try to go to file > library > Update music library to iCloud and do the update.

  • Most of the pieces in my albums and playlists is grayed out and will not play.

When I go to play the songs in iTunes a lot of my songs (mastered and uploaded) are grayed out and I can't play. For example, when I press shuffle play only items not greyed out. Sometimes, the album is grayed out and will not play. This has never been a problem until recently. I used to love iTunes, now with each update, it seems more confused. Help please. Thank you. Rock ' Roll!

Switch to the view of songs. The greyed out, you saw previously correspond to unchecked items? If for Cmd-click any empty box must all check.

    Let's try the following:

    1. Close the browser windows
    2. In Explorer, navigate to the following folder: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ (the best way to do this is to type %appdata%\microsoft\windows\sendto in the path of the Explorer bar).

  • my windows media player is VERY slow to start, sometimes stops working, will not play some videos

When I run the program it opens but will not play a song sometimes longer than 15 minutes. Stops working and the screen will sometimes foggy transparent white - I can still see the player, but he has a white on fog. Today, that happen when you try to copy a cd. -just a regular old cdr.

Show first frame of video and play a sound but video does not move. Windows vista-home premium-toshiba.

I suggest that you try to reset the media library. Note firstly reset the library will make you lose all play counts and ratings too. Then, follow these steps:

    -Restart the PC.
-Click Start, type services.msc in the search field and press ENTER. In Services, locate the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service. If its status is started, double-click on the service and click on stop.

-In this file, rename the old Media Player like Media Player folder. If you do not see the folder, then it is probably hidden. Set Explorer to view the hidden files and folders and show protected system files.
-Launch WMP, your library will have been reset and will be rebuilt. Check if the problem persists.

  • Taylor Swift 1989 tour will not play!

Why will not play around the world of 1989? No matter how long I left to buffering all that I get is a black screen.

    Hello there, hollybackgirl.

It seems that your iTunes for Windows stops responding or gives a black screen when you try to play the video content with Apple's music featured. The following Knowledge Base article offers some great recommendations for troubleshooting:

Fix unexpectedly closes or the launch in iTunes for Windows problems

Before you begin, download and install the latest Windows updates available for your PC, and you ensure that you have the latest version of iTunes.

    Start iTunes in Mode safe

When you open iTunes in Mode without failure, you isolate the program of any interference caused by plug-ins or scripts not made by Apple. To start iTunes in safe mode, press the Shift and control on your keyboard while you open iTunes.

You will see a message as iTunes starts which says "iTunes is running in Mode without failure. Visual plug-ins you have installed have been temporarily disabled. »

If the problem does not occur in Safe Mode, Remove third-party plug-ins.

Disconnect your computer from the Internet

Errors by contacting the iTunes Store and other Apple services can sometimes cause problems with startup of iTunes. If you remove the possibility to connect to these services, you can see if these features have problems that must be resolved.

    1. Disconnect your computer from the Internet. For example, Turn off WiFi or unplug your ethernet cable.
    2. Open iTunes.

If iTunes opens without any problem, update your drivers. If there is still a problem, Contact the Apple Support for a help to isolate errors.

If there is still a problem, continue below.

    Create a new user account

Visit the Microsoft Web site to learn how to create new accounts of users for Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista or Windows XP.

If you have the same problem in the new user account, go to the systemic issues. If you do not have the same problem, continue to the user's specific questions.

    User-specific questions

If the problem only occurs in one particular user account:

Create a new iTunes library to see if the problem occurs in a new library. If you are using a new iTunes Library solves the problem, re-create your old library in your new.
To return to your original library, close iTunes and then hold down the SHIFT key while you open the program.

    If the problem persists:

Look for problems with the content files. Audio files can sometimes cause iTunes to quit unexpectedly or stop responding when the program is reading information analysis. To determine which file can cause the problem, follow the steps below:

    1. Quit iTunes.
    2. Navigate to the iTunes folder:
      Windows Vista:C:\users\username\Music\iTunes
      Windows 7 and Windows 8:C:\users\username\My Music\iTunes
    3. Move the file iTunes Library.itl on your desktop.
    4. Open iTunes. Your library will be empty.
    5. Press control and B on your keyboard to open the bar menu of iTunes. Choose file > add folder to library.
    6. Navigate to the folder where your music:
      Windows Vista:C:\users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media

    Windows 7 and Windows 8:C:\users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media
  • Choose an artist, album or song to add to the library and drag it into the iTunes window.
  • Wait that iTunes to add the item to your library and perform the analysis successfully gapless playback.
  • If the search is successful, continue to add songs to your library.
  • If there is a problem with one of your files, your problem will reappear once you add it to the library. Is it reappears, repeat these steps, making sure not to add the files that caused the problem.

  • CD will not play on other CD players.

original title: will not PLAY ON OTHER READERS of CD GRAVE of CD.  RESPONDS WITH A MESSAGE 'NO DISC '.  IS IT POSSIBLE THAT WINDOWS MEDIA DOES NOT CLOSE THE CD - R CORRECTLY ONCE THE BURNING?

I asked this before and got some advice and it took but no solution yet.

A month ago, CDs that are burned using windows media will play on my computer (ripped files deleted after the burn process) but will NOT play on my other two cd players.  They WILL play on my dvd player which is connected to my tv.  In the case of my two cd players, I mainly get a message 'no disc', which suggests that the units are not recognizing that a cd is in the drive.  When I discovered what is happening, I went back to the other burned disks more older (over a month) and found their work on both cd as usual players. No problems.

I tried the speed of descent during combustion and that did not help.  I tried to change Windows Audio in a different format, but which did not help (I haven't tried mp3 but remained with versions of WM).  I tried putting the cd back in the computer and remove it again, hoping that if he had not "closed" correctly, he would.  It did not help.

From the outset, ran one of the maintenance programs that are here and it helped to eliminate a problem that I have had the 'play' starring (he played but left an error message) and finally allowed me to automatically received information about the artist/album/song titles.  Who had not worked for more than a year... everything was ripped/burned as an unknown album.  So now it's work, but the cd will only play ON the computer or on my dvd player.

Any other ideas?  Could there be a problem with the codecs?

Another note. I made it back to my old burns and found CDs of at least 3 or 4 different mfg.s which worked fine, so I don't think that it has nothing to do with the cd manufacturer.

    Ed.
