Someone at - it obtained Intel onboard SATA passthrough working in ESXi 5.5?

The last time I tried (with 5.5U1) it worked if the virtual machine has been installed and started by UEFI instead of the BIOS, but unfortunately this has led to many other questions and I ended up having to downgrade in 5.1.

Workaround has been discovered in the months that followed? Or better yet, can anyone confirm if VMware has fixed this in 5.5U2?

In case anyone else has this problem, I am pleased to announce that the 2 update has fixed questions passthrough for X 58/ICH10. I didn't have to do anything special - or more precisely, something different to 5.1. I just clean installed 5.5U2 ISO (with all the SATA cables physically disconnected, of course...), (re) configured DirectPath e/s and data warehouses, shot to the top of the virtual machine, and everything worked as planned - for a change.

Hopefully future versions (5.5U3? 6.0?) do not break anything yet...

  • Someone at - he obtained 4.7 FB to work for BB10 projects?

I spent some time the migration to a new development environment.  Among the updates of this environment has been the use of FB4.7, I followed the installation instructions detailed here on the forums.  I am trying to launch a mobile project very simple actionscript and have had no success.

I'm trying to debug an application on the alpha dev device.  Unfortunately, during the launch of the app all I get is a black screen that appears, then disappears immediately.  I get no error message during the FB debug console and there seems to be no error output.  I noticed that when disappears from the black screen the debugging process FB4.7 is still trying to complete.  And after reaching 100%, I get an error message indicating that it could not find the device to debug against.  That seems wrong to me.

Any advice or assistance would be appreciated.

    Please notify.

I had the FB 4.7 environment to work with BB10 and my DevAlpha so it is possible. And I didn't have to do a superposition of the SDK. Have you seen the instructions here:

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/air/documentation/BB10/install_bbtos_sdk_fb47.html

Specifically "Force AIR runtime version 3.1, step which is easy to miss, as it is in the section"Create your first application"(I jumped at first, thinking that I knew how to do part... :-), and I think that I found myself with similar problems as yours then).

    Thanks for your help

    Hello:

    Yes, the driver is indeed...

You can find it on the link below.  I want all drivers, wake so your drive will work on several PC.

The second file listed is for XP 32 bit. Ignore the description of the motherboard.  Drivers for laptop and desktop are provided.

The best way to know which AHCI driver you need is just go to Device Manager and click to expand the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers section and you will find the name of the driver you need.

If I'm not mistaken, you should see the Intel (r) 7 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller.

You can find this driver listed in the iaAHCI.inf file in the download above.

  • PowerEdge 1900 onboard SATA issues

I try to get the sata integrated to work.

I go into the bios and put the 4 sata slots to the automobile. Press to save the changes and reboot.
Then it restarts and I go back into the bios and it's back to OFF.

I am trying to add a purple WD 1 TB drive and a 40 GB Intel SSD.

Could update BIOS to 2.7 to work?
I already wiped out the old OS, so there is currently no OS on the disks.

    DemonMaestro,

The first thing I would check is if the integrated Sata controller is enabled. If you go into the BIOS - embedded devices - check then under Embedded SATA if it is set to OFF. If so, then go to ATA Mode.

Table 2-4 on page 38 of this manual will show the selections.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Problem with Intel WM3945ABG Sat Pro P100 wireless

I formatted my Satellite Pro P100 and re-installed XP Pro SP2 (after the driver installation guide for the Web from Toshiba site). Originally, when I installed the WiFi drivers, I didn't install the Intel wireless client as I wanted Windows XP zero config to do all necessary things. I came to use the WiFi on my Tosh yesterday with my wireless network and was faced with not being able to find either of my 2 AP - so after switch double check the WiFi was on, I started my spare laptop and found them immediately.

Fortunately my spare laptop also has an Intel wireless card so I made sure that all my settings in the properties of the device match (best I could since one is a model of diff), but the default settings matched. I then continued to update the drivers from the Intel site - this time, I installed the Intel Wireless Client. I noticed that the Intel client icon in the system tray is lit blue (so I guess that its on), then changes the clear logo with a red on X. When I open the Intel customer and try to turn on the Radio via the menu dropdown but I get an error saying "the intel pro/wireless network connection is still disabled. Use your hardware switch to enable it. Although the wireless switch is on and the light orange light it up! Utility troubleshooting Intel said almost the same thing and the observer of events of Intel wireless display not all entries after cranking up what I am trying to turn on the radio via the client and the message I can get is "Radio off by IWA.

In my frustration, I noticed that my keyboard has a function (FN + F8) key to activate wireless however I tried to load the hotkey Toshiba (& common Modules) wireless drivers U200 its not listed for the P100. Alas, no money after pressing FN + F8 will make any difference - I checked and the Toshiba Wireless HotKey (toshkcw.exe) runs in the 'process' of the Task Manager. Unfortunately, I've never tried this shortcut when I still had XP Home installed so I can only assume that HK is not supposed to not work.
After that, I tried to uninstall the drivers again and reinstall the drivers from the Toshiba site downloads and always end up with the same problem.

... Is being short of formatting again and from scratch there anything else that I missed?

Cheers for any help you guys can give!

    Hello

It is really not easy to say what is missing here. As far as I know that satellite Pro P100 is already preinstalled (comes) with WXP Pro and I really don t understand why you try to install this new but without recovery media. Perhaps because of the other language?

In any case, you can also install your own operating system. All the drivers, tools and utilities must be installed in the correct order. Check the document facilities instructions on the download page.

It will be really interesting to know if it was the problem with the factory settings. You cannot mix designed models of different laptops Toshiba tools because it is not the same (U200 tool for P100). This FN + F8 option should appear if the right tool or utility is preinstalled, but please don t ask me that one. It's really different from unit to unit and facilities plan is similar but not the same thing.

  • Someone do EVO 850 m2 SATA SSD working on P50?

Just got my p50. Insert the EVO 850 after unpluging factory 500 GB HDD and boot into a windows usb install. SSD not detected in the drive list. Then, restart the pre-installed Windows 10 500 GB HARD disk. SSD not seen everywhere, including the management of records, the Manager of peripherals and diskpart.

I changed to another location and it began to appear "2100: error detection on SSD (m2)" and the SSD was really hot when I removed it from the slot.

I just ask for a replacement for this SSD. If this does not work yet, what should I do? Thank you.

I made a stupid mistake. I inserted the SSD drive in the wrong direction... I have not noticed that since the two notches of SATA SSDS are symmetrical and I could insert in anyway. But today, thanks to the 950 Pro, which has only a notch, I realize that thing stupid. Thanks for all your response. Now everything works fine. Stupid, I was!

  • How to disable integrated PERC S300 controllers and connect hard drives directly onboard SATA

    Hello

I bought new servers, two of them came with PERC S300 controllers. When I tried to install Linux (CentOS) on this subject, the system could not see the RAID!

After some research, I noticed that it is Windows specific (fake RAID)

I want to disable this controller and connect my hard drives directly to the main card SATA connectors and implement a software RAID under Linux.

    What I need is:

What cables I need to order for this?

    Thank you

When I picked my servers and decided on their specifications, this note (red) was not on the site, and I am sure about that because I have not all Windows servers on my network.

Now that I ordered and received them, I'm looking for a solution.

I ordered this kit: Dell PowerEdge HDD DATA CABLE KIT DP/N C450M CN-0C450M

I will receive next week. I hope that this will help me get around this annoying problem.
