  We have the latest mac pro machine functioning as a construction of host 5.5.0 esxi 2718055.  We have setup the virtual Mac machine of the as a waiter in a magic triangle to our Mac OSX windows domain configuration.  Everything was up and running for some time now not really used because we delayed the purchase of our projected deployment Mac until this year.  I logged on today, and he says he has several updates and necessary to restart, so we issued the command reboot.   Okay, so I went through the list and now I got using the command option r. tried before but maybe I press the keys long enough.  I was using my mac book pro and pro fusion to do all this. Couldn't make it work when you use the client heavy vsphere on my windows machine. Repair disk permissions is grayed out. I ran check disk permissions and got a ton of errors, ran check disk and he stopped saying repair the disk. Ran repair disk and he stopped to say that he cannot repair the disk, backup as many files as possible, reformat the drive and restore your backup files.

  Is there another way to try to fix this sucker, or is he at this point a POS and build a new one?

  The specifications of the HP Envy 750qe desktop say nothing about the LAN card.  The motherboard is MS - 7826 Ver 2.0.
  There is a metal box closed covering the LAN and 2 accessories usb soldered to the motherboard.  Windows 10 indicates that the LAN controller is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.  I would like to know the chipset used for this LAN Controller without destroying the material.  I can't find a direct reference anywhere - Realtek, HP or otherwise.

  Be sure to upgrade your vCenter and Update Manager 5.5 before trying to download the ISO (under ESXi images).

• OMIVV 3.0 - errors "Hypervisor not taken in charge", cannot day several firmware M610 hosts / ESXi 5.5 U2

  We have just updated OMIVV to version 3.0.

  We have problems with 3 guests in our infrastructure - M610 all running ESXi 5.5 U2 P55.  Any report of strangely hosts in OMIVV.

  -"Unsupported hypervisor" is reported in the screen "check hosts compliance."

  -We can update the firmware on the individual hosts, but the update of multiple hosts in the cluster level does not at all.  The inventory of the firmware page does not display anything.

  All the other features seem to be working on these hosts and all of our M620 do not act in the same way in OMIVV.  All the firmware is completely updated already on all hosts.
