• First Pro CC in favor XAVC S from Sony (not XAVC)

  I noticed that asked at various locations however no one not of Adobe has addressed the issue, so the result is a lot of speculation from other users.  Someone from Adobe please tell us whether it is intended to support codec XACV S from Sony in first Pro CC and if so, when we can expect to see this added support.  Sony had a couple of really great camera 4 k available for some time now however if he won't be supported of the codec it is really unnecessary to buy a.  I really want to start my workflow to support 4K setting but I can't really begin to do this without knowing if or when Adobe will support XAVC S.  A response from someone at Adobe would be greatly appreciated, or if other users have an info, I'll take what I can get.  Thank you!

  XAVC-S support has been added in first Pro CC.1 (7.1). Hope that helps.

• Vista Home Premium product ID is not recognized

  I just bought a new Sony Vaio running Vista 64 bit and need to contact Microsoft technical support. However, when I try to do the support web site tells me that my product id is not recognized (I use the PID of control panel of configuration/system/Windows Activation). So I can't get any support. • How to import pictures from Sony F55 CS6 first?

  I'll run a project on hard disk with a F55 Sony (not in 2 k or 4 k). My DoP gave me some test footage, but I can't import the images in the first. It can import native or do I need to download all additional items?

• Netflix should sue sony

  Netflix should sue sony for blame it shit streaming on them, when in fact it's the sony/dvd player that does not... I have the sony bdps270 and I can, t watch netflix on it because it either freezes in loading or lets me watch about 2 minutes and then locks into place... something new is that this happens all the time now... at least three times this week I had to use my computer to look at who is on a wireless network, while the dvd is connected directly. You can blame it on my ISP and netflix, but why I can watch on my pc and it loads in like 5 seconds without stopping or reloading?
  I do not watch tv on my computer screen when I could be watching it in my living room on a big TV... and the only reason why I bought the player was to the netflix. Many times I felt like red going on this thing and he break just to small bites... it's as if someone is playing keep away with my TV and I am so frustrated.
  A promise, never again will I buy a sony brand anything... and I will be progressively all my sony branded products. Why the ps3 which is intended for the work of better game player whose only purpose is to watch movies? More important still why keep you throwing everyone under the bus when it is very obvious that your product/service is the problem? Above all, why did you not corrected it since it is very obvious that many many of your customers have exactly the same problem? Why do you continue to lie to your customers and to blame others for your failure. You lose a huge amount of business and product/brand loyalty. Fix your servers or let us broadcast directly from netflix. Fix it it fix it!

  The article you sent me contains some good information, but nothing that I didn't already know.   Blue Ray model I mentioned, the BDP-S380 comes enabled with a RJ-45 port network.  I connected it to my router.  I've never had buffereing or freezing with YouTube, Hulu or Amazon Video, on this piece of equipment.

  The considerable amount of internet discussion on Sony Blue Ray players and this problem with Netflix, I have a few questions:

  (1) is it true that these devices of Sony not to go directly to Netflix, but are redirected via Sony servers that must collect and send new data streaming?

  (2) Sony also road Hulu, YouTube, Amazon, or other streaming through their servers services or allow them direct access to these providers?

  Something else interesting to note would be the following: when I start an episode of Netflix, this player does everything first a screen indicating that the network connection is tested and gives me an indication of average speed.  Then she actually starts streaming the episode, again give me an indication of speed average until he has buffered upward and status information disappears from the display.  I noticed that in all cases, the network connection test which takes place first of all always gives an average speed that is superior to the buffering real of the episode.  Also, I ran the network to other devices before speed tests, during and after the Sony Reader showed me what he thinks, what is speed.  These tests may come from my iPad using SpeedTestX, one of my PC using various utilities through the diagnostic software and network support in my router.  In all cases, these tests are 1-3 MB faster than watch the Sony player.  The average speed displayed on the screen is also 1-3 MB faster with Amazon as Netflix and Amazon, the test speed is always the same as the speed of buffering.

  So, from my observations, it is easy to conclude that the re - direct traffic of Netflix through the servers of Sony is what is causing slow and put connections into buffer issues.  They are not present with any other streaming service I use, or they are on my other devices not Sony blue ray.

• NEX3 and astrophotography

  So I try to do Astrophotography with my SONY Nex3. and a few days ago, my mount of the camera came in. I SO happy, but as of today I am very sad. The Nex3 seems to be useless for astro photography Practicaly.
  (1) bulb mode must have the button for the durtation in astrophotography, it will squirm scope causing bad images.
  (2) on the Nex3 seems also once the lens is disabled, you cannot manually set to Fstop is apparently adjustable when the lens is on?
  and (3) many of the features are required to have the lens to use. so I think I kinda lost my money on the camera and the $ 80 on the mount.

  what I'm looking for, is if someone has a mount that will work if the lens is on Dpourl attached to the scope? or the Mount of the camera.

  You can permanently set the NEX 5, 6 and 7 to the fire when it detects that no goal is fixed. This allows you to use adapters and targets to mount sony not. I will check the settings of the 3n and get back to you.

• Questions about the transition to a Chromebook

  Please forgive me, because I know little about computers. I am wanting to buy my first chromebook as I am tired of the problems with my laptop Windows 7 Basic. Tried to upgrade to Windows 10 and it fried my system. I have a laptop Sony Vaio series dear and he isn't even came with a restore disc, they expect you to go online to solve problems, but you can't get online when this kind of problem occurs. In any case, I wonder why you need to have a restore disc or whatever for this chromebook? I thought that this was the value of a chromebook or is it in case the computer dies as my Sony done or something?

  I moved your post because it is different from the issue discussed in the other thread. I hope that gives you more visibility.

  First of all, I would like to address the issue of recovery media that you had with Sony, not that I want you to return back, but because that they affect both the Acer and I would rather you have the best information information vs which is best for us to give you. Windows based PC does not come with recovery media. Acer systems have a recovery partition that allows to restore Windows directly from the hard drive. You can perform backups at any time (as long as the system works).

  Passage to Chromebooks, the Google Chrome team has done a fantastic job in making sure the ChromeOS is accessible from many different paths. I'll link you a their below, but it is so quick and simple the ChromeOS is very light and I hear by is that there is not much to it. All the customization and improvements are linked to your Google account. It takes minutes to reinstall the ChromeOS if you encounter a problem where it can take nearly an hour to reinstall Windows.

  Insofar as a recommendation, we have several in our shop. If I had to buy a new Chromebook today, no doubt (in addition to my obvious bias to Acer ) would be the CB3-431. It is 14 "vs the 15" you, but it as a better screen (1080 vs 768) with more storage space and storage. • DVD burner drive ignores the media inserted to Backing Up disc

  I installed the Win7 Home Premium (32 bit) operating system on an HP Desktop running 4 GB of ram. I can't create a system or system repair disc image because the DVD writer (HP 740 b) does not recognize the media disc, I insert the burner when you are prompted.  I insert a blank disc DVD - R new Sony, not formatted on most of the rehearsals, but spent the last three times on a DVD + R Verbatim disk with EXACTLY the same result.  THE NE WILL NOT PREPARE THE DISK, IE DISC FORMATER. WHY?  I welcome your thoughts and suggestions, but request that you read my question before I answer that I have several times and carefully followed the advice of Jack in charge of microsoft.  Thank you.   HDMI & VGA ports are very close together on the VAIO Laptops.  This design is deliberate to prevent users from using two HDMI & VGA ports simultaneously. I'm trying to connect 2 external monitors to my VAIO.

  Unless you have a desktop Sony (not all in one), then Yes you can replace the video card.  But if you have Sony laptop, you CANNOT swap out.  Sony laptops have an integrated video card / onboard.  To change the video card is to replace the motherboard (and no, can not exchange for an another one-motherboard motherboard are constructed for this particular unit and plug).

  iMovie 11 (version 9) supported cameras include not all models Sony FDR.  iMovie 10 supports a number of FDR-AXxx models however does not list your a see particular: iMovie support cameras - Apple Support

  There are a number of problems of running iMovie 11 under El Capitan, particularly with still pictures appears.  (It does not supports video 4K).  I recommend try iMovie 10.1.2 which you should be able to get in for free or may already have in your applications folder.  Although your camera model in particular is still not listed, I would expect it would probably work, and failing that you should be able to read files directly from the SD card if you put in an SD card reader.

  The TV will not display on your computer screen. Your computer appears on the TV screen if you have selected the right input HDMI on your TV menu.

  start down load an audio book on MP3 players from sony at the local library. They use overdrive and I followed the instructions and downloads of the book for the overdrive media console software. But when I try to transferred it to the player it comes up with an error = x8005400t-license does not exist. Overdrive suggest the updated media player which I did and then delete the files temporary Internet in firefox, not sure how and the library could not do that either. Thanks for any help

  From what you describe, you receive an error message when you run OverDrive and attempt to transfer the music files on your SONY reader, are - this correct?

  If so, the issue is probably with OverDrive, and you should contact their support of clarification on what means the error message:

  I also downloaded software HomeMemories of Sony, which seems to be as good as a chocolate teapot. In any case, I could not download the content, so I've been in conversation with Sony about it. Bit of a waste of time really, after about 3 months of back and forth emails they say that:

  1. 1. digital Camcorder (DCR-TRV620E) is not compatible with OS El Capitan.
  1. 2 PlayMemories House 3.1.00 or later version is compatible with OS El Capitan.

  However, performance is not guaranteed for all computers.

  As a result, please try another PC with a different OS.

  I don't have access to another PC, only I have a Macbook Pro with exactly the same software as my Mac. They run El Kapitan 10.11.5 and I - Movie10.1.2, HomeMemories 3.1.00.12180 and I also have an old copy of the Toast Titanium 11.

  Is it likely that say a DV FireWire or link Thunderbolt will make a difference?  The latest version of the film I is also not compatible with the camera, according to Apple.
