Sony's MTS files slowly transformation

I have a lot of difficulty of treatment. A MTS files Sony NXCam.

I don't know what th settings were when the video was shot.

It took me an hour of these video files (00000.MTS, 00001.MTS and 00002.MTS) on PP. chronology

I tried exporting ot the video to any format and the estimated duration was 5 to 7 hours.

I don't know what type of sequence to use.

First, you must be sure of what having the good preset for the file, so see the 2nd post for a NEW ELEMENT pointer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/770072?tstart=0

Then, you post some information about your hardware if someone my comment on your speed

My CS5/AVCHD 1st Impressions http://forums.adobe.com/thread/652694?tstart=0 includes a link to the computer, I built... because the GTX 285 is more commercialized, now, I would go with a GTX 460 or whatever the current "best bang for the buck"- AND I would like to buy memory 4Gig-by-3Sticks to be able to extend to if necessary 24Gig 12Gig
.
For my home amateur, family films (which means that I'm not trying to recreate the Star Wars with video effects or layers) AVCHD editing is "as smooth as hot butter on hot toast spread" (also the wife Flip camera MP4 video)
.
My 3 hard disks are configured as... (WD = Western Digital)
1 - 320 G WD Win7 64 bit Pro and all programs
2 - 320G WD Win7 pagefile and video projects
3 - WD 1 t videos files... read and write

  • After Effects CS5 and Sony HDR - SR1 AVCHD (.) MTS file format)

    Hello world

I just started with After Effects, and I the only video camera I have is an old Sony HDR - SR1 camera, which records in 1080i and uses the AVCHD file format. I recorded some videos, in which I went to try and import them into After Effects. The program came up with this error: "error effects: '0020.MTS' cannot be imported - this".mts"file is damaged or not supported." I understand that this error is quite common, but I do not understand how to fix it. I've tried the Media Encoder, and the videos that come out are videos of nothing like horrible quality than videos recorded on the camera. I also tried included Picture Motion Browser from Sony (I have the latest version) and when I try to convert, the video also released horrible quality always has these annoying lines on the video. Help, please!

    Thank you!

In fact, EI must recognize the AVCHD video, because I imported one of my recoedings, which is 1080 p MTS to EI, and it worked. Maybe the problem is in 1080i. I still have her deinterlace my 1080i files and then import them to AE. You can try to deinterlace your files and then import them to AE.

Regarding deinterlacing, you can google or you can give brorsoft mts converter, which I use now to try. It has a codec for AE and Adobe Premiere, wchich make it easier to import files to the AE. In addition, you can convert your 1080i MPEG-2 files and then import them to AE.

  • Re: Editing on Satellite P500-12F .mts files

Hi, I have a question about the change. MTS files:

    My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite P500-12F / Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz / RAM: 4 GB HD: 500 GB / BD - RE DL / 18.4 "/ Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit /"

And I use Corel video studio pro X 3 to edit my SD videos and I was very happy with it until I tried to use the software to edit HD videos very short 2-4 minutes long that I got from a friend to test it before buying my HD camcorder.

These videos are played on the laptop without problem using WMP or video studio pro x 3 in the preview window, the problem starts when I add another track of overlay to make modifications or any title or effects on the overlay track as I used to do with SD videos.

If I do any sort of editing and try to see the changes in the preview window, the image moves very slowly, vibrates and the sound is broken, it seems that I'm editing a 24 hours of work not 2-4 minutes. clips.

So I do not understand where is the lie of the problem, what is the spec of the laptop? What codecs do I need to install? Or the settings that I need to do?

bye the way, if I decide to save the changes I made for the video it is so annoying to check during the preview/editing process, the final file plays great without problems and in HD quality.

I wonder if someone can help me.

    Thank you

    Hello, Armelle

Please don't get me wrong, but I do not understand the relationship between issue described and Toshiba laptop.
Don't you think that it is the related issue of Toshiba or you should speak with the support of software manufacturer?

This application can be installed on your laptop as part of the recovery image, but I don't think that Toshiba is responsible if you have a problem with a software feature.

  • playmemories ver3.0.2 House cannot see the mts files

Playmemories home v 3.0.2 can not see the mts files. He can see all the jpg files. The MTS files can be seen in windows Explorer and also read via windows media player.

Please check if the AVCHD format is listed as one of the supported formats of PMH. In your toolbar, go to [help] - [about PMH...] and select [Supported Formats] in the window that will appear.

If the AVCHD format is not supported, please connect your Sony camera via USB and try to import AVCHD video. The software should recognize your camera and add support for the AVCHD format.

  • freezing of .mts files choppy playback and consistent

I recently bought the Sony NX3 to add to my arsenal. Unfortunately, when I import the first .mts files starts compliant video files and it takes some time. Not only that, but when I click on a file which is supposed to be consistent, the video plays back jerky and then freezes. The audio will continue to play but video just hangs. I edited before with NP .mts files even though they were HDV Files not 1920 x 1080 24 p. Mounting on a HP600 with Xeon E5520.  What are my options? I'd hate to have to transcode the files whenever I use the camera. Does anyone else have this problem?

Bingo... it's this USB connection. Guaranteed that will b e ch o pp see.

On the Page of the Tweaker (found on the forum hardware assets), they have a chart flow supported various internal and external connections by car & types. USB3 is much better than USB2 say... but still not fast enough for sustained Read/write speeds to be used for playback. Basically, for external, eSATA disks II or III or Thunderbolt are the only ones who can really carry the load.

  • MTS files take so long to import with play memories Downloader?

    I have a Sony HDR PJ650.

I tried to import the MTS files to CS6. This worked OK for cam, but the files won't save to hard drive.

It seems that I have to import them to the hard drive to play importing memories. It takes more time than the form files

    the Canon 5 d.

Does anyone have advice?  I'm doing something wrong?

Connect the camera to the pc or pop the card in a card reader and copy paste all content with Windows Explorer on your hard drive.

Then import them into the Prime Minister.

  • First Pro CC and the lack of audio tracks for .mts files

    Hello guys,.

I used to edit my files .mts with first Pro CC with no problems until yesterday.

Now I import my file .mts (made with a Sony VG900), but the first does not recognize the audio tracks (which I hear fine with VLC).

I tried changing the extension in .m2ts, but he did not, I also tried to reinstall the first but, even once, it didn't work and I tried (I was desperate) to install the CS6 first just to check if the problem is maybe about the CC version. Guess what? It did not work...

I tried also to convert the file with the encoder in .mp4, but after the conversion, I can't hear the sound with VLC and, of course, this does not work on the first.

Don't you think it's a first question or a problem of file?

I used these same files for other videos (as a http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1X5vsZ-5yI) and I had no problem. Then I updated the first, I moved the files in the other folder, and the problem came to life.

    Any idea?

(I'm waiting for my colleague to send me a new mts file just to check if I accidentally damaged the 'old').

  • the MTS files do not work in CS6... Why not Adobe

If I have a file in my camera sony in Prem Pro .mts, reports the video but no sound?  If I have him drop it into CS5.5 sound works.

I downloaded an updated version of the Prem Pro from Adobe today June 2012. And still he will not address the mts files?

I don't understand why it is so difficult to find a solution to this problem. two of the worlds biggest companies Sony and Adobe, and none of them covers the question on their site, and yet it is clearly a major problem?

I've seen talk about on the site of renaming of files, which does not work and would be a pain in the rear.

Does anyone have a solution that works?

    Please?

    FIXED Yipeeee!

It is not all good news though, but I have a solution that will definitely work for you, all that it's a bit drastic

This problem has been to kill me. I just want to be able to drag and drop the MCS file in first pro, as I always have with other video files and all the nonsense to shoot the whole folder structure just won't DO, we do not live in the 70s. And thank God, the file structure is just stuff and nonsense.

What is happening is that... something on your PC does not work files (and Adobe do not have any idea what it is) and besides that I do, but until a person learns, I can tell you that a full blow and reload new windows will be 100% solve the problem.

Now, I don't have one for years, so it was a complete pain and took more than a day to recover all the way I like it and to be honest, it will be a week before as I have all my favorite programs work properly.  BUT I can tell you that with Premiere Pro installed, I can now just PULL THE FILES FROM the CAMERA PHOTO HARD DRIVE and let FALL THE LIKE ANYWHERE and better yet, pull them in first ruined as I want and they play 'Sound and all' and that my friends is the way it should be

I really hope this helps some of you, I'm glad it works now and I can get some work done, I began to hate my new camera, but now, I can tell you it's A1

For Adobe, I can tell you that some parameters of another installed program system is clearly the culprit but I can't for the life of me tell you who.  I can say that it is not mine, or the programs fault but a lack of tests on from Adobe.  Because clearly, it is not, and a good number on your forum, and many others. Software should work under any scenario, I'm not running certainly all the strange programs that should cause this.

Until Adobe can pin point a solution and patch their program, I can recommend my solution buy guys and girls make sure to save all your mail, Favorites, passwords, documents and any other valuable to you before doing a clean install and if you will reply in the Groove with our favorite editor PP CS6.

  • I need a definite answer for the use of Premiere Pro CS4 to work with .m2ts and .mts files

I have a Canon Vixia HF20 and a Sony HDR-XR350V.  The Canon gives me. The MTS files and the Sony product. M2TS files.  What should I do to be able to work with these files in Premiere Pro?  I sought and obtained that I'll need to buy a codec.  But there are two types of is going to be good with a codec files?

Also, what are the steps to getting started?  Buy the codec, load the codec... Are there other measures to work with files in first?

I'm sorry about the basic questions, I'm a photographer!  I've never worked with video before, and it's HARD!

    Thank you for your help,

    Michelle

CS5 has native support for AVCHD... for CS4, I think that you must convert to HDV (or, perhaps, to buy a commercial CODEC to install)

    Do a search for

    convert AVCHD HDV

I tried, but the video does not play smoothly.  Is this fix really?

There is a possibility that Windows Media Player could
read the file if you rename the MTS to MPG or AVI.

And/or...the suite of freeware Media Player can be
    worth a try.

WMV - Windows Media Video (*.wmv).

Choose an output folder and on the left, click on the button convert.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
