  I have a big problem with my external hard drive and I hope someone can help me.

  Here's the thing:

  I used my external drive only on computers that don't have any port usb 3 and all worked well. The drive has been used only with usb ports 2.

  Now, I got a computer with a usb port 3 and I was happy to be able to use my external hard drive at full speed.
  Has been fine until I wanted to transfer a file using my drive.

  The disc has been recognized either of usb ports 2. The NTFS partition is a partition BRUTE! I had to ' chkdisk/f G:' to make it work again on my usb ports 2. And some files were missing!

  Then, back on my other computer (usb port 3), the contents were not the same! I mean some of the files that I deleted when it is plugged into usb 2 returned when plugged usb ion 3! And then, back to the usb 2, partition became RAW and I had ' chkdisk/f G:'... once again!

  So, to make it as simple as possible, after some testing, it seems that the drive can only be used on the usb ports 2-only on ports usb 3 but can not be used at a time, which is very annoying for a portable external hard drive.

  I tried to format the drive to my usb port 2 and return on the usb port 3, the content came as if I had never formatted it and then back on the usb port 2, the RAW score again...

  I use Windows 7 and 8.1 Windows computers.

  Someone at - it experience that? What is the drive (Toshiba Store Art 1 TB USB3 4)? What is the USB 3 specification? Is - Windows 7 or 8.1 drivers?

  This external plug & play Toshiba HDD supports two USB standards: USB 3.0 and USB 2.0
  HARD drive around needs bus power 900mA to work correctly.

  The USB 3.0 port supports this standard 900mA. The USB 2.0 port allows only to 500mA.
  If in case the HARD disk is not working properly connected to the USB 2.0 port, I recommend you to use a USB cable to Y in order to connect the 2 ports USB 2.0 HARD disk.

  I have no idea why the content on the HARD drive is different, but from my point of few of the USB standard does not affect content.

  In my opinion, the HARD drive wasn't working properly using a USB 2.0 due to the low power.

  By the way: this HARD drive supports some additional features like the ability to oversight function and monitor to alert of the disk space that sends a alert when there is not enough available storage space.

  Nevermind, I figured it. The NOR-GPIB-USB-HS is apperently not make good contact with GPIB port on the monitor, even if it is screwed to the bottom. I plugged the adapter to a GPIB cable, then GPIB cable to the parser, and it worked fine.

The PC connects to citrix 4 virtual machines, 3 of which are works well and 1 which will allow me only to screen all screens, it's like the alt key does not work on this. Changed the keyboard to 1 that I know works fine, still the same problem persists. Could be a registry key that the virtual machine is missing?

  I just created a site of catalyst for business and I chose for my own HTML/CSS/JS site (without a template). The site is made with Adobe Edge animate and the files are already uploaded to the server.

  When I connect to the admin of the catalyst business account I can see my site works but now I would like to use the incontext Editor. When I hit the edit button I see my site, but I can't change.

  In my index.html file I insert scripts like 'ice:editable="html"' and 'ice:editable="*". But still the incontext editor doesn't work.

  As much as I know to Edge host sites work the script must be initialized. ICE but does not play nice with dynamic content and that's why he doesn't work for this particular site.

  I'm a noob to this, just to test the PowerShell CLI to see if we can automate some basic tasks.  Present a problem when you deploy a virtual machine using New - VM.  If the target data store is available in more than one cluster, the parameter - data store fails, saying its getting more of a parameter, even when explicitly by entering the name of DS.  For example:

  new-vm - VMhost hostname-name vmname-model templatename - datastore DSname

  Returns:

  New - VM: 2010-02-10 13:38:12 new-VM of the specified parameter "Datastore" expects a single value, but your name criteria "DSname.

  corresponds to multiple values.

  If I change the DS to point to a local storage on a server, it works fine.

  Issue a "Get-Datastore DSName" gives this:

  It is a laboratory facility, with two groups sharing the same lun.

  Eureka! To the Bank in question a technical support person suggested that make sure that Adblock Plus was not blocking the ads. I like ABP, but I have rarely paid no attention to it. • Foxit reader works not with explorer 8

  I just upgraded to Win 7 64 bit and explore 8.0 before doing that I could click on pdf files and have them open in a pane of the viewer in Directory Opus. Sincee update whenever I click on a file pane Viewer says loading, then says navigation to the webpage was canceled and a box comes in asking if I want to allow foxit to make changes to my computer, if I say yes it loads the viewer complete, if I say no it closes just everything. I checked and Foxit is the default viewer setting is enabled for the browser plugin. I looked to each parameter in the two programs and don't see anything wrong. Help, please.

  To check that you have set Foxit PDF Reader by default.
  You can follow one of the three following ways:

  • When you open Foxit Reader for the first time, you will be asked to set Foxit Reader in your default PDF Viewer. Click Yes.
  • Open Foxit reader, go to the Help menu and select "Set to Default PDF Reader".
  • Open 'My computer' > select the "Tools" menu > "Folder Options" > "File Types" > know 'PDF' > click on the "Edit" button and choose Foxit Reader.

  I would also check your default programs.
  Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations

  Open the control panel (all items view) and click the default programs.
  Click on the game to link your default programs.
  In the left column, select the program (highlighted) a list that you want to change the associations is default for file.
  To set all Assciations by default in the Program-
  NOTE: This will allow to associate the selected program by default used by Windows 7 to open all types of files and protocols it can open.
  Click set this program as default.
  Click Save to apply.
  Click OK.

  If the configuration of the default program does not help, then I suggest that you contact the Foxit support for assistance.

• Why directories, including "file" (as /fileadmin in TYPO3) work not with Adobe Edge inspect?

  TYPO3 uses a directory named fileadmin where all the data of the user (e.g. models) is stored. But as far as I tested it again the word 'file' in a folder name is a problem to inspect the edge. The devices did not react if I choose this folder to my iMac or MacBook. I have this problem locally (via MAMP 2) and standard web server too.
  For the moment, I have to use a symbolic link (e.g. fadmin-> fileadmin) to use Edge inspect in my workflow of TYPO3 templating.

  Disregard that. You are 100% correct. Our regular expression search (and ignoring) file:/// URL is incorrect and is accidentally ignoring any url containing the word "file". Oops. Huge apologies from us, we are surprised that this has not been seen before.

  The good news is that it's a simple solution in the Chrome extension and we will be pushing an update to fix this very soon.
