Sony Self Extracting package has stopped working?

So, I got an Acer Aspire 5253, and I try to install Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 trial, since it is the cleaner version, produced. I tried Pro 10 and 11, and they run painfully slow. Anyway, every time I try to install it (9 Pro), I get the same error

"Sony self-extracting package has stopped working".
I tried to download the trial of countless sites, including the Archives of download of Sony, but nothing works! I have the feeling that it is a driver problem but I tried to modernize, start in safe mode, etc.; But still the same error.

The 64-bit version does the same thing, so I don't think that is the question. Another thing is weird, I tried downloading versions Pro 7 and 8, and they say the same thing...
Help, please! I tried the Sony site, responses from Yahoo and other sites, but I don't think it's a problem with the software, but windows.

The machine material is perhaps too fast for the software runs correctly?  Do you use SSDS as primary drive?  If so, can you install the program on a slower hard drive?

    Please could someone help me to set up the Board Sony motion eye cam and FN keys that don't work after upgrading from Vista to Win7, Sony are no help at all.

    1 Quicken uninstall using the Windows Control Panel

    2. run qcleanui.exe and clean all versions.

    3. restart your PC

    4 Quicken resettlement to a new distinct and NOT in the Program Files folder in the folder where your Quicken data resides and install as administrator (if on Vista).

    5 update Quicken at the last updated R6.

    I used my laptop to my Sony Bravia TV using the HDMI ports for more than two years without problem. I unplug it and plug it back on a regular basis without problem. I have returned from a weekend out of town and plugged my laptop back to and kept getting the error on the TV:

    No signal. Check the external source or select another entry with the ENTER key.

    What I tried:

    • Tried it with 3 different HDMI cables (without success)
    • Tried connecting Player DVD TV HDMI ports (successful, plug-and-play)
    • Tried to connect the PC to another TV with cable HDMI listed above (successful, plug-and-play)
    • Tried to reset the TV to factory settings (reset successful, still no PC signal)
    • I tried power reset on the TV (unplugged for a few minutes, connected again, no still no PC signal)
    • Tried to reinstall graphics drivers of PC (Intel HD Graphics Driver for Windows 7/8/8.1 64 - bit, v15.28.20.64.3347, Intel, installation successful, website still no PC signal)

    If this service has stopped working so I recommend if you allow it.
    For this you must have access to the services of Vista:
    -Go to the Start Menu
    -In the white line (search) type services and press ENTER.
    -Click on continue in the UAC prompt, (if it is necessary to provide the password for administrator approval)
    -Search for Flash or PPV cards or similar
    -Right click on the service if you want to disable or enable, and click Properties. You will find an option to enable or disable this service

    I have problems printing my Photosmart C5280 All-in-one on my desktop of Windows Vista 32-bit. I felt for a few years and have only recently met this issue. The printer is connected to the computer via a USB cable and the laptop is connected via a Bigpond Modem/Router which is connected to the desktop via an ethernet cable. However, in recent weeks, we noticed that we were no longer able to print from a laptop, and a few days ago, I was unable to print from the office. When I try to print from the office, the print job seems to go to the print queue, but is then removed from the queue. I then get an error message

    "GPCore COM object has stopped working and was closed".


    This applies to all applications even the test print. I just went through the steps on the HP site, including downloading and execution of printing HP troubleshooting and doctor Scan and uninstall then reinstall the printer.     Sometimes to do a simple uninstallation / reinstallation is not do the trick, and we try to remove all the software from the computer completely. Most of the drivers available at HP have a scrubber utility that removes all traces of the software on the computer and allows you to reinstall the software fresh. We should start there and see if that gets us running.

    I recommend you to do all this on the Vista machine. Once we have a working computer we can then pass from there to other laptops.

    Here are the instructions to use the tool of the scrubber. There are two sets of instructions, one for if you have installed the drivers from the HP website or if you have installed the drivers from the CD that came with your printer. Follow the instructions for your installation accordingly.

    Of the Original installation CD:
    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
    2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
    3 open the Util folder
    4 open the CCC folder
    5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.bat. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.bat

    So I found a solution semi. If you don't mind go back to an older version of Skype, so that's what worked for me.

    Something to avoid problems:

    Be sure to turn off the automatic updates as much of the time, the new versions are what cause issues. I think better to wait a bit before updating.

    It's not easy to say what causes this problem.
