  • Satellite L655 - sound does not work on the new install of Windows 7 Pro x 64

    Howdy all,

I bought a Newegg L655-S5111, which was on sale, put an SSD, and then installed a legitimate copy of Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit, I got from my current employer (I'm a computer scientist). I've updated to the latest revision of the BIOS (1.70), and I have all the updates installed Windows, all drivers installed, including the correct drivers Conexant HD Audio and ATI HDMI Audio. Unfortunately, the sound does not work. Sound works briefly during my first install of Windows 7, then I cut it up until I could get it set up with a helmet. When I disabled it, she had stopped working.

This laptop is less than 3 weeks at this point, old and I get no audio on headphones or speakers, even if Windows displays clearly no problems with the drivers, they have the latest version on a new installation, and I can see the audio mixer game. The laptop built-in microphone captures sound as well. I think that's probably not a matter of the physical interconnection, but more likely a software problem, I just have trouble identifying where it is.

I have also no related error message than any where in the case of newspapers.

Can you please do a test and install original recovery image Toshiba, that you got with your laptop on this new SSD, just to see if it will work with the original image.

Recovery image contains all the necessary drivers and OS is perfectly configured so each piece of hardware in your laptop should work correctly.

  • Qosmio F10 - driver of sound and the modem does not install

    Hi all.

Firstly, my computer is 100% up-to-date. I recently had to do a complete reinstall of my OS
I got all my drivers and what not, install, but the driver sound max and the modem driver will not install.

For the modem, it asks if I want to install it, I click Yes and it starts the installation and then he finshes and nothing comes. It is not installed.
I then try my sound, and it seems as if it will install, but then I get an error that says: no driver is found, please reboot your computer.

Or something around those lines anyway.

    Can someone help me please?

  • LabVIEW 8.6 sound and measure suite not installed properly under Vista 32 or 64 bit

I apologize if this isn't the right place for this post, but I need a solution. I recently bought LabVIEW 8.6 Developer Suite with the Suite Sound Measurement and to create a program of NVH testing at my company. I am a newbe to Labview, but I've been a programmer/hardware geek since the days of the TRS-80 model1. Here's my problem. I installed the following developers DVD package on my Office Windows XP Professional and all goes well. I see the following Sound and Vibration Measurement listed under LabVIEW 8.6 able & Automation Explorer, and examples of the Toolbox for work in LabVIEW. When the laptop I bought to do my current job came with a Vista Business Edition 32 bit version installed I found the following problem. On this machine and two other machines to Vista (64-bit and a 32 bit) I tried, the installation does not record the Souind and vibrations under LabVIEW 8.6 Suite and they show Sound and Vibration toolkit as not installed in the examples section. In the Panel by virtue of National Instruments, all 4 machines show the Suite Sound and Vibration as installed 6.0. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall, change in the control panel and reinstall from DVD without change in the result. I really need get the laptop works as it's my real development and test machine. XP Setup is not an option because the machine newly purchased with a high-end sound system and downgrade XP was not available. I'm out of ideas.

I wanted to close what I got it finally works. This time, I uninstalled the audio and vibration of the LabVIEW control entries in uninstall Vista. Then re-installed and now it works. Before there were three entries, one for the suite, one for the runtime and one for the Toolbox. After having removed all three and reinstall it from the DVD, only subsequently arises, and everything seems to be good.

  • I can't get sound, I can not install speakers

I have Windows XP and I don't know what happened to my sound, I can not install my speakers even once, I don't see the icon speakers at the bottom of my screen, I tried to uninstall and install through several sources. I don't even have a sound of my pc! Help please

If you click on start and go to my computer and right click. Go down to the properties in the menu drop down and click. Choose the hardware then Device Manager. In this menu down to the sound, video and game controllers. Right-click on the word and the analysis of the material changes. If it detects the problem he could remedy. Otherwise, expand the category by clicking on the + sign next to the word. If you see the word"audio device"anywhere in the list. Right-click on it and select uninstall. Restart the system and XP detects the problem and remedy. Usually, it works for me. Another thing I did as well, it is to expand sound, video and controllers games audio device right click and update driver, and then on the next menu click No, not this time and then next. Then install it in the following list. Then do not search, I will choose the driver to install. Once you click then it displays a list of all audio programs THAT XP has in its database. If you see your specific audio source for example. Realtek, etc. c-media. Click top then next. If it's the right driver restart the machine, according to me, it prompts you to restart, or reboot and the driver should work fine. The icon for the speakers is just a shortcut to the volume, if the sound comes back on you go to the control panel and create another shortcut.

  • DV6 3219tx xp downgrade. No sound at all and can not install any MS - UAA at all. Help, please

I need to downgrade to XP SP2 due to work. I work for a public service and I tried everything about compatibility. I can't afford the upgrade 7 Ultimate. I have XP Home and they install ok but I can not install the drivers for the sound. DECCOM opens either. I've tried everything. Can you help me please? I read the guide here and it says that you have to install MS - SAU (gives 3 of them), but when I try to install I get the yellow question mark in the currency manager and nothing happens that no drivers are installed after. Desperate please help

What is the yellow mark on? You should have a list of "Audio device on Bus from Def High" with the yellow mark_indicatiing and material is on and wait for the correct audio driver_if MS UAA installed correctly.

If MS UAA installed correctly it will be a list under system devices for Microsoft UAA for High Def Bus.If, he is not there, you need to do a right click the device with the yellow mark (unless it is as mentioned above) and choose set to update driver. Click on do not connect, let me pick or so 'drive '. Navigate to the location where you unzipped the files MS UAA.

Normally MS UAA only allows audio and allows it to accept a driver IDT.

  • Installed the Windows updates now sound does not work.

I used the windows update Center yesterday and installed the updates that were for my computer, now my sound does not work. When I try and open "Dolby-Publisher of stars", I get this message:

Any help tp fix it would be greatly appreciated as im am not very wise computer.

    Will,

According to the scenario provided it seems that the problem is that you have updated the drivers for the audio device, but you have not updated the application (Dolby Home Theater - perhaps). If you have two choices, update the application to a version more recent or uninstall the installed update which is relevant to the audio driver (through programs and features - updated).

    See you soon.
