space

If my friend had to upgrade his iPhone and now I only have 1 GB

More information would be useful. This day has been done? Is your Sync photos a friend via iCloud? So, I have to increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select Optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

  • No free space after deleting files - trouble with optimized storage?

Hi, I have macos Sierra and I deleted many files to my main drive and also to my external hard drive (both to the Mac OS Extended format) in preparation for the boot camp. I also emptied the Recycle Bin, although there is much less space on the two disks that it should be and the majority of the space is obviously indicated under "purgeable". I thought it would not be a problem, because I assumed that the space would be released, if I move all of the files there and if I need for the new Windows partition. However, this assumption was false. I can't simply use storage that I released. I can't move there all the files and I can't create the partition from free space. What can I do with it? It's pretty frustrating... Thanks for the help!

You must use the Bootcamp Assistant to create the Bootcamp partition.

Please provide details on the total space and free space on your internal drive. Post screenshots of what you see in system-> storage information. In addition, select the drive in Finder-I press control and post a screenshot of the window read the information.

  • How can I delete all but 2015 to 2016 nigh (ios10.0.2) iPhone photos to free up space, after synchronizing all photos on my Mac (Yosemite 10.10.5)?

How can I remove all but 2015 to 2016 photos from my iPhone (ios10.0.2) for free space, after synchronizing all the photos on my mac (Yosemite 10.10.5) computer?

The fastest way I can think of would be to go to the Albums, go to all the Photos tab, highlight the photo you want to delete and press 'Select' in the upper right corner. Place your finger on the first complete line, you want to remove (if you have pictures that do not have a complete row that you want to remove these institutions, select them individually first), slide your finger on the line so that they are all selected, and then slide up so that it starts automatically at your old photos of scrolling. Once the photos you want to delete are selected, press the trash in the lower right. This will move them to your album "Recently deleted", then they will be always on your phone for 30 days, unless you remove them. If you are sure that you have already backed up these photos and does not accidentally still photos you want, feel free to remove them.

  • Complete hard drive well messages have a lot of space.

    Hello world

IM using a MacMini 2012 with 16 GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD stock.

I don't know what to do. My MacMini gives me error messages all the time say that my HARD disk memory is full - but it isn't.

I already emptied the trash. I was transferred to GB´s videos on an external HARD drive. Sometimes, the memory is more and what is reduced without having done anything.

Today I had 1, 76 GB of free memory and wile watching a video the same 'lack of HARD disk space"message.

The amounts also vary a lot. Yesterday he showed me 210 GB of videos (green) - today after the transfer not 10 GB of videos, it says now that I just left 12 GB and the difference is now on color (yellow) data.

    Can someone help me please...

Hope I explained myself good enough.

    Thx a lot in advance!

on the preferences photos if I click on iCloud library to automatically download pictures, he tells me I need to buy more space, I have about 20 GB of photos that are already stored in iCloud and I 26 GB of available storage, if need more than space, want just to make sure that any new photos get downloaded, but I can't check without having to buy more than space.

Add space to a month to complete loading - once it's finished to return to the lower space

  • disk space

disk space saying always full, can not update my mac at all? don't know how to use an external hard drive/memory?, thinking its my music itunes etc which occupies all the space is there a way I can fix this?

What is the difference between a "disc" and a "disk?" - https://support.apple.com/HT201697 - see magnetic optics.

Get info on your iTunes folder and see how much space it occupies.  If this is the culprit, then you need to move the library to an external drive.  This isn't at all unusual because people want small computers with inadequate storage, but there's a glut of digital media.

    Hello gregor gregor gregor.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It's my understanding you are needing help with upgrading to Sierra, as the Mac App Store gives more the possibility to download. I want to assure you that you can upgrade and enjoy Sierra successfully.

During the installation, your Mac may restart several times. It performs then a few initial configuration in the background tasks. • How to free up space in Bootcamp

I'm running out of space on my drive C Windows in Bootcamp and I would like to know if there is a sure way to eliminate files and free up some real estate.

I understand that there is a Disk Clean Up program that can be used in Windows 7, but I wish I knew someone who used it if it is OK to use.  Knowing Windows I tend to be more careful when it comes to delete stuff.

I used the Add/Remove Programs feature to get rid of the most obvious stuff, but there must be other less obvious files lying around that I could dump.

    I would like suggestions.

    Thank you

You can resize your Boot Camp partition to enlarge. DO NOT USE DISK UTILITY to resize Boot Camp partition. Use rather CampTune. What is your Boot Camp partition?

As to what files you delete, you can delete all your data and programs not used. Do not use the programs are the so-called 'clean up '. Use the uninstaller program that you did.
