• Average click boxes, and text entry fields are noted

  I create several CBT intended to show users how to navigate a new software. When I record, I choose the demonstration and training modes. For the part in training mode, I have several click boxes, and text entry fields. At the present time, when the user clicks on or between text, it has to click in the right place or enter the correct answer to move forward, otherwise a failure caption appears that says something to the effect of 'should have clicked here, please try again.' They try again and go to the next slide. When the training section is marked, everybody gets 100%.

  I was wondering if it is possible to create a user click in the wrong place or enter the wrong answer and still be able to advance to the next slide. So, not everyone would have a 100% automatic.

  As I wrote in my first response, simulation training is not intended to be marked. You should really start with a simulation of assessment to avoid having too many change thereafter.

  Have created a lot of assessments used in examinations (do not use an LMS, but this is not necessary) and my students would have been very happy if they could all have scored 100%.

  Enough joking. How you have configured the settings for the click boxes, text entry boxes, buttons? I give them only 1 attempt, never show failure, success, or legends of suspicion. As both actions for success or failure, I put in 'go to the next slide. The evaluation progresses so what was the action of the user, correct or incorrect. And the score will be awarded only if the user has performed the correct action. It works fine, really. If some actions need to be repeated several times, sometimes I will put the note of some of them to 0.

  Really think you can change the training simulation to work as an assessment, in the future it would be best to start with the last mode, possibly in combination with a demonstration or a training simulation.

  Hello everyone. I'm a graphic designer working with new magazine layout in Indesign. I used Quark for years and recently fell on this problem...

  In a paragraph, we usually use a soft return back some words to the next line. However, there are opportunities, I notice that in doing so the lines above where I am bumping the word ebb and Exchange. I've never had a problem with this before and it is a serious problem for us. Is it a setting I have on that I'm not aware? What can I do to avoid what is happening?

  It is one of the main differences between Quark and ID.

  ID has a "paragraph composer" for will as a simple line like Quark composer, and it is enabled by default. When you use the paragraph composer, text is constantly analyzed and spacing adjusted for better form and appearance (according to the spacing algorithm and parameters of your justification) for the whole paragraph. If force you a line break, ID can adjust all the lines above as well as the following lines.

  If it is a 'serious problem' you shoud probably witch to the composer line simple. You will find a drop down for it in the dialog box of the definitin of paragraph under the parameters of the Justification style, or you can change individual paragraph as a local override from the steering wheel to control panel menu.

  Most of us who've been ID user for some time find the paragraph composer include the forces of the ID, and feel that it generates more nice looking text than a single-line composer.

  Don't know whatever the title, I can say, I've updated for Firefox 8 and the text/icon style icons have more distinctly bordered. If it was intentional, I have trouble finding the option to disable this visually discordant style change.

• Button outline and text styles

  I am developing a Flash application with a back-end of Air and I worked on beautification of our user interface. We have created our site browser component in an mxml file and an ActionStcript file to run it. I met two problems that I have not been able to solve the hover and treat for most how a .as file can reference things in mxml.

  The first relates to the outlines button. I want to add a record button that is just our logo so I create a < mx:Button > tag with the field of the icon as our logo .png file. However this underscores again the whole thing with a black border as if it were a text button. Is there a way to get rid of that border or is there a button object that doesn't quite have a border?

  My second question has to do with the tag < mx:TextInput >. I want some of the entries to have the default text in them that disappears when the user focuses on the input of text in text box. This was not a problem, but I want to make the default text color more clearly and in italics, which I can do easily in the tag. However, when I try to refer to this text entry box in the .as file there is no option to change the type of font in the box, and therefore user input appears in italics and lighter as well. Is there a way around this, or maybe something better to put in place of the text box?

  For your second point, I think you're asking how to change the style in actionscript, that would be yourTextInputID.setStyle ('fontStyle', 'italic');

  It would be the same if you changed it in or associated .as file.

• Dreamweaver can clean the unused images and or styles?

  I just finished a few sites where customers had many changes of mind and so I have a lot of images and css styles which are not used. Is there a way that Dreamweaver can at least identify the unused images and/or styles so I can clean things up before the launch?

• In a paragraph style, is it possible to automatically change a space in the area of district using GREP sty

  I create a menu template that will be used by my client. I'm using a font that has a very wide space between the two words. I can combined a quarter space instead of a regular space between words. This works for me, but won't work for the customer.

  If I create a paragraph style, is it possible to use GREP to automatically change the space in the area of district? and if so, what this text GREP would look like?

• Synchronized text styles and paragraph

  I have a text block in which several paragraph styles have been applied. After you apply a text synchronized on the text block tag, any paragraph style, I chose now applies to the entire text, rather than the individual paragraphs block. Is - is this expected?  Or a bug?  I can work around it by creating each paragraph as a separate text block, but it's a lot of hassle!

  I use Muse 2015.0 Release on an iMac with Yosemite 10.10.4.

  This is by default synchronized text, with synchronized text style apply to all.

  First of all, your character for 'Title' style will not work correctly, you must create a title paragraph style. In the paragraph style options, you'll find controls for the spacing before and after the space.  Adding a measure in space after you give what you want. Character style controls include no space before and after. Character styles should only be created and applied when you want one or * some * of the characters to look different from the rest of the text in a paragraph. If you want to * all * the text to look a certain way, create a paragraph for text style-, they include the two paragraph * and * controls formatting of characters.

  Second, a person placing / will import your InCopy file in an InDesign layout? If so, you should probably ask the designer about the settings and style names. In fact, you can import all paragraph and character styles in an InDesign file in a stand-alone InCopy file. In this way, you can apply the real, final of styles to your text in InCopy (the styles that the designer will apply in InDesign) to get a good idea of how it will look.

• End of paragraph automatic numbering and text wrapping

  I use FrameMaker 7.1 and have a paragraph style defined for the bibliography entries. This paragraph style puts an AutoNumber at the end of a paragraph that contains a title of publication. Automatic numbering seems to cause problems of layout with a few more titles long where FrameMaker can keep the title on one line, by compressing the text. If I click the paragraph catalog style several times, FrameMaker alternation to compress the text to fit on a single line, or it displays with standard spread/stretch and allowing the text to run on a new line. This happens even if I try to set the paragraph style so that auto-spacing is not allowed.

  Can anyone help to define a format in which the provision remains stable?

  Thanks for doing the tests and determine that FrameMaker creates a different code for what is supposed to be the same construction. I'm not good with MIF; my suggestion is to do exactly what you did, namely, to compare the code for different views. Others may have sufficient expertise to offer a solution here, but my feeling is that the behavior is different because it's a bug. • Can alternative text applies paragraphs, tabs, styles?

  1. is it possible to apply paragraph returns, or tabs or text styles to text in settings to create alternative text keyboard shortcuts, for example, an address 2 line:

  In Word, for example or some macro programs, use ^ p to create a paragraph return. So, to create the address 2 line above, you would type in your chain or the macro:

  2 as we talk about shortcuts, I noticed for some time that we cannot use macros to the entry of passwords in the password fields all the time now. Looks like it would be to keep the entries by robots? Or is there a way to get around this, then we can use macros to enter passwords in the password fields?

  On an iPad? Incredibly, Yes and no.

  I put 123 Main St. And then filled with spaces up to 123 Main St has gone on the left and then put New York. Then NY as my shortcut.

  I want to learn the criteria difference and use of paragraph styles, object styles and character styles. I know how to use them, but know about the best judgment and context, when you use would be better. Can anyone recommend links? I've been using adobe. Please don't suggest books.

  Paragraph styles are whole paragraphs.

  Character styles are letters or isolated words. Do not use the long of an entire paragraph. Do not set all the attributes, only those who are different for the properties of the paragraph Style. Unlike Quark Xpress, in InDesign are character Styles used only for the difference of isolated words.

  Paragraph styles can include the character automatically Style: Styles, GREP, nested Styles, initial letters, chips automatic & numbers and line styles.

  Object styles , set the frame of the object. They include separate definitions of all of the object, the stroke and fill.

  Object styles can also be applied to images in a frame and groups.

  Object styles may also include in the following paragraph Style and a style of paragraphs in automatic way.

  Object styles have several categories, you can choose which category is relevant to apply. For example, it is possible to apply the first style object to give the stroke and fill and apply a different object style to format the corners only and then apply the next. (With this method last only the applied object Style is linked).

  Styles of the opportunity to make global changes in a document. If you build in a smart way, they are a huge time saver. They can be stored in the CC libraries or libraries with objects that are applied to them. If you have created once these styles, you can use them again, and with one or two clicks, you can make their own to new document.

  My recommendation: the habit of Styles, name them always with the same names that it helps you to be accustomed to them and to work faster, much faster.

• Switching themes Captivate creates additional text and button Styles

  I use 8 Captivate and when I change the theme of Captivate text and touch more models are created. They are added with an underscore and a number, as shown below. Does anyone know how to stop this?

  

  What version of 8 do you use? Last number starts with 8.0.3. I can't me remember this bug, but I would first of all check if you have installed the hotfixes.

  Are the styles that show you the custom styles? And you gave these styles of the same name in the original theme and the theme you use to replace the original one? In this case, I don't think it's a "bug", but by design, any of the styles are deleted. Only the styles 'Default', in parentheses, will be replaced. I tend to a custom theme to assign custom styles as much as possible to the default styles, maybe this is the reason why I saw this really as a problem. I thought themes were designed to save time and default styles, when you apply a new theme, will cause immediately one with changes in the project. For all other styles, you have to apply again, right?

• Paste and Match Style of text IN Illustrator?

  I try to get the equivalent of the Mac 'Dough & Match Style' option in Illustrator.

  Make a banner of kids baseball team. They want the same banner EXACTLY as last year, just with updated names.

  In this example, 'Thomas Allen (TA)' is the OLD name, which is the size/color/shape/LOCATION I want to keep. "Aden Anderson (AA)" is the new name that should REPLACE Thomas Allen. I put AA Brush script just for Visual clarity. I would like to copy AA, then select/highlight the text of TA and paste AA in YOUR place, while AA takes the size, color, font and, especially, the LOCATION of TA.

  In native Mac applications, I simply copy AA, highlight the text of TA and SHIFT + OPT + CMD + V to paste and Match style... simple.

  I understand that I can use the Eyedropper to copy all the properties, then cut (CMD + X), AA, highlight the TA value and Paste (CMD + V) in your spot and delete the empty point text where the original AA was cutand not, is not a lot of work, but I have a ton of banners to do and a lot of names of children on all of them , so I want to just REPLACE the names while maintaining their position because they are already aligned with other names and design elements.

  Just out the pipette / remove steps would save a few minutes by banner and with the amount of banners, a few minutes would add up.
