Hello

Try the following.

Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Any change?

Kind regards

  • Speakers cut out after 1 or 2 minutes on my Satellite L750

The internal speakers on my Satellite L750 - 16Z (PSK1WE) cut off after 1 or 2 minutes when playing any track video or music. The headphones work fine. The sound can be restored by plug it and unplug the headphones. The speakers work again with the new application, or after a long pause, then they cut. It happened that the computer is new, only after about 18 months.

I've seen dozens of posts on forums US of people who have this problem. I am running Windows 7 64 bit, but I see that people have the same problem with Windows 8. I have tried most of the proposed solutions:

    Reinstall the audio driver (in my case Conexant Smart Audio HD version 8.51.1.0);
    Closure, by removing the battery, etc.;
    Alternatively clicking on playback and recording in the settings dialog of the sound;

and * none of them recherche.* I'm not willing to do a system restore and the risk of losing my data. With the help of external speakers is not a solution for people who travel (would not have bought a laptop if I had to carry a suitcase full of accessories to make it work).

I got exactly the same problem with my laptop. But my laptop supports the Realtek HD audio driver.
However, the same problem occurred. By speakers disappeared but the helmet worked.

I m sure its software related issue. From my point of view of a few you would be able to resolve this problem by installing the new system, but it would be a very drastic just to get rid of this annoying problem procedure. I was able to solve this suite of this workaround.

In Device Manager, expand the Audio category video game controllers
Look here for the Audio device high definition and delete

Expand System devices and look for high definition Audio Controller
    Mark and remove it.
Also you could uninstall the audio driver Conexant. But in my case, it was not necessary.

After that, restart the laptop and wait for that deleted devices has been recognized and installed again...

    Good luck

  • Internal speakers cut?

MI Xoom ceased to play any sound through the internal speakers. They worked well at first, but a week ago that they have been muted for games, video and music. However, I get the sound with headphones.

The speakers are not broken, that I receive the notification and the alarm sounds normally.

I tried resetting factory, but without success...

Problem might have popped up when I tried the headphones for the first time or when you download an app to control of volume-unfortunately I can't say exactly when the problem occurred.

  • Satellite L650 no sound from speakers or phones

I.ve just had my first problem with my Toshiba Satellite L650 - particularly serious, because I rely on it for all my music playback!

Normally I can plug and on the headphone jack on my stereo, speakers cut out and I get HiFi glorious while it is inserted, and the speakers onboard bounce when I delete.
Today, I have plugged as ususal and listened to a few songs.

I unplugged (to move the laptop) and the internal speakers not to bounce.
I reconnected the headphone jack and there was no sound from my stereo (finger test confirms the work of jack stereo).

I checked all the app and the main volume - level in good health indicators were present.
In the Device Manager, all reported correctly and counter activity took place during the test routines of the audio device for both speakers and headphones, but no real signal to the phone jack, or speakers.
"Update drivers" who fired the message I; m to date.

I uninstalled the drivers of "High definition Audio Device", and scanned for hardware changes after - drivers were automatically found and installed successfully, but still no sound.
In desperation I dug an old USB-audio gadget, plugged and his fate that perfectly well by the USB port.

Can anyone suggest what I can try to force an internal connection between Microsoft Sound Mapper (i.e. the string digital things that seems to work very well) and outputs real material?
This machine is not an old duffer and this should not be the case!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Hmm, I doubt that the headphone is faulty because in this case, the internal speakers of the laptop computer s should work properly.

Please go to Panel of-> sound-> the Read tab.
    The speakers as default device?

In addition, please see the Audio Manager HD Realtek located on the control panel.
On the right, you should see a few options (in my case, that they are marked with a folder icon). Check it!

  • Re: Satellite A500-02J - how to disable the internal speakers?

    Hi all

I use Satelite A500-02J, but when I plug in external speakers, my internal speakers still work, how do I disable it?

    Hey,.

Normally the internal speakers will be cut automatically if you connect headphones or external speakers. At least on my laptop it of the case

Hmm I put t know what OS you have installed, but you should check the audio settings. Generally you can cut off the internal speakers if you have connected an external.

Alternative, I recommend that you update the audio driver. You can find the latest version on the official website of Toshiba.

    I hope that helps! :)

  • speakers muted

    Separated from this thread.

I am using windows 7 on my laptop (not a touchscreen)... Today morning, I turned on my laptop and I saw from my speakers muted. What could possibly be the reason?

    Hello Krishnpriya,

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you.

According to the description issue your speaker get cut automatically and you noticed that after having turned on the laptop. There might be a chance that, then closing the laptop is based on speaker (if not available) due to what speaker button get muted.

I would like to confirm things before troubleshooting.

    1. Are you able to activate the sound or not?
    2. You experience this problem on a regular basis or is it the first time?
    3. Did recent changes (hardware or software) on your computer?

If you are unable to activate the sound, try to follow the steps below and see if it helps.

    Method 1:

First of all, I suggest you try to use the Audio playback problems troubleshooting to solve the problem.

Automated convenience store is a tool that can find and automatically fix problems with your computer. These utilities are not designed to solve all the problems, but they are useful to try because they can often save your time and efforts.

    Method 2:

  • Portege R500-11Z: how to use the external mic and hear the internal speakers

We have a Portege R500-11Z running XP and want to use Skype with an external table microphone and the internal speakers.

When connect us the microphone to the Jack MIC the Portege, built-in speakers cut out!

How to use an external mic and still hear the internal speakers?

    Hello

    > When connect us the microphone on the Portege, built-in speaker MIC Jack cut!
Are you sure you used the microphone port and no headphone port?

Have you checked your settings Audio from Skype?
There is an option called ring through the speaker too or something like that.

Please also check the Realtek HD audio Manager in Control Panel.
There is a tab called Audio i/o.

Usually, you can change the connector settings, by clicking on the small key-tool icon.
Disable the option called Mute rear output when plugged headphones before

As you can see is called headset and not so I m confused a little bit why the speakers are turned off when you connect an external microphone.

By the way; There is also a tab called micro.
Check if the two options that reduce the echo and noise are OFF

  • Satellite A200-1AE: sound from speakers when headphones are connected

    Hello. Sorry for my English.

I have problem when I started a player (winamp player or a movie or a game with the sound) and I want to change the sound from the speaker to the helmet by plug them into the headphone jack. The sound is still speaker.

So I just restart this player or the game and then sound is switched to the headphones.

So in sum up: when I want to listen to the sound of some player I have to plug in headphones first and then start the player in order reverse, the sound is not switched to the helmet line.

In other laptops with Vista I have check this problem is not to happen.
    Do you have any suggestions?

    Hello Pawel

I have the Satellite A200 too preinstalled with recovery DVDs. I was very curious and I tested it on my laptop. In my case everything was OK. Through the use of headphones, Laptop speakers are automatically TURNED off. Remove helmet speakers work again.

I am really confused, and it is really not easy to say what the problem is here. AFAIK in headphone plug it is small, and through the use of headphones this past should disable Laptop speakers. All you can do is check if it happens after clean OS installation, maybe update the BIOS or install the latest driver sound.

Sorry, but I don't see any other possibilities. If anything maybe you must contact the service in your country. I really can't imagine that this little mixer may be defective but service may only do a check.

    Bye and good luck!

  • External speakers to the Qosmio G20 106

    Hello

I know it's a stupid question! but where to plug the external speakers? Is this the same entry as the headphones?
    Thank you very much?
    JO

    Hello

On the left side of the device, you can find the headphone jack (S/PDIF). This allows you to connect digital speakers or stereo headphones (minimum of 16 ohms). When you connect the headphones or digital speakers, internal speakers are automatically disabled.
This Jack can also be used as outlet S/PDIF and allows the connection of the optical digital connecting devices.

    Best regards

  • Why QOS is assign a low priority to speakers/Media Players?

I have AirPlay speakers, set up around the House and bizzarly NightHawk is assign the latter with a LOW QOS parameter?

The speakers cut despite an 87% Signal strength to 54 Mbps one another with a 99% to 54Mbs Signal strength two to 2.4 Ghz

The 5 GHz range is much better - The Lounge speaker (which is the line of sight of the NightHawk 20 ft across the room reports 100% signal strength to 150Mbps.

And still stutter stall throughout the House.

These features worked better on the old wifi but have been the subject of wifi sometimes abandonment of all devices where the 'upgrade '.

I had put the speakers at a higher priority if they came in the attached devices, which, despite the connection to the common Nighthawk and streaming though stuttering audo, are attached to the Nighthawk.

  • USB speaker cuts out / gels

    Hello

I have USB speakers connected to my laptop. When I play music with media players (tried a bit with the same question) the speakers cut out (actually its almost like if he freezes; the media player progress bar and volume bar indicator seem stuck and the sound cuts). I need to unplug and then plug the rear speakers to make it work again. This occurs anywhere between every 2 to 10 minutes. Very annoying.
The speakers work very well in other situations. I can read videos, films, etc. on media players without question. Sometimes during the streaming media, but not as often.
Have the latest drivers etc. Have sought long and seriously of similar issues on the internet, but have not found a single person with this problem.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi dazzler902,

What is the file format of the audio files that you try to play? This happens with all audio files or just with a few specific files (file format)?

To refine the question, I suggest you try the following steps:

Step 1: Try to play audio files with a different drive

If the problem persists, the audio files may be corrupt or damaged.

Step 2: Run the Fixit available in the link below

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/tips-for-fixing-common-sound-problems

Step 3: If the problem affects all or most of the files you play (as opposed to a few specific files), the software of the driver for your sound card (also known as an audio controller or audio device) might be obsolete. You can check the updates by following these steps.

    1. open Windows Update by clicking the Start button, all programs and then click Windows Update.

    2. in the left pane, click search for updates, and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your computer.

    3. If updates are found, click install updates.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

In some cases, you may need to download the driver software directly from the Web to your computer manufacturer or the manufacturer of the sound card.

  • Satellite L650 - 12 p - alternative driver for stereo mix

    Hello

I wonder if someone could help me. I have just purchsed this beautiful laptop toshiba which I'm genrally very satisfied but just one thing, I want to see what is missing and it is a function of stereo mix because I want to play music through my sound card, but I can't find this feature in the registration of parameter which leads me to believe the current driver does not support this feature.

I would like to know if someone has maybe found another driver that supports this feature or any other thanyou workaround for reading.

    Hi sam0056,

To be honest I n don't know what you're talking about...
You want to listen to music on headphones or external speakers? If so, you just connect external speakers. The internal speakers will be cut automatically.

Otherwise new drivers, you can download from the official page of Toshiba.
