Speakers on monitor do not work with Win 8.1

Yesterday, I upgraded from Win X - SP 3 (no longer supported by Microsoft) to 8.1 Win.  I spent all day with a Microsoft technician online to understand how all this works.  One thing that he could not get to work was the speakers on my screen (HP vs 19 c). He took control of my computer to work on the various issues.   I know he went to Realtec to try to find a driver for the speakers, but without success.  The speakers have worked before, why they work with Win 8.1.  The monitor works fine.  Unfortunately without sound, I can't go through the tutorials to learn more on how to use Win 8.1.

Thank you so much.  I installed the driver for Win 8.1 but that apparently wasn't the problem.  Please forgive me for being so dense.  On Control Panel, I have continued to see the problem as not having is not the speakers connected.  The other day, I unplugged the wire to the computer and re plugged, but it does not work.  This morning, I disconnected the speaker cable at both ends - the computer and the monitor and reconnected it.  Surprise, I'm now audio!

What a relief that now I can go through the tutorials and learn how to win 8.1 works well I already learned by all or nothing.

  • HP Deskjet 3420 does not work with Win 8?

    Hi all!

I am facing a lot of problems with my printer (Desket 3420) that doesn't seem to work with Win 8. I installed it first with the 'old' drivers supplied with the original CD, and then, when I discovered the problems of compatibility, I tried the Deskjet 3600 drivers provided by Windows Update.

The printer seems to be properly installed and "ready" (if I can see in Control Panel), but every time I launch he grabs a sheet and seems to start printing but awkwardly, with characters bad and extremely slow, even if I set the option "starts printing immediately" or, Alternatively, "start printing when the coil is complete! Also when I try to delete a document in the print queue, it seems not respond!

Can someone help me find a solution? There is the chance to use this printer with Win 8 or I have to buy a recent news?

    Thank you for the support.

  • DeskJet 712c does not work with Win 7

I recently switched to a new win 7 Home Premium SP1 (64) my old XP computer which worked well with my printer.  The printer does not work with the new OS and the computer.  Even if the computer indicates that the device is functioning normally, the printer will not accept print orders.  Not even the printer print test.  There is no error reports but the system behaves as if the usb is not connected, even though it is.   There were no changes in connectivity before or after installing new software (or trying) trying to get the new computer set up.

I just found it and tried the wizard of the printer which also implies that the usb is not connected even though it is.

The compatibility options have done nothing to help.

    Tara,.

EUREKA!  At the risk of party too early, it seems that I am able to print with my new computer (HP).  Fixed after almost endless hours trying to get my printer to work despite many internet messages saying it could not be done and other giving solutions that didn't work.

Why o ' why the solution apparently a hidden secret and why the tools did not work?

In any case, thank you very much.  With all the problems I'm having to migrate to Windows 7, it's a very important achievement.  Thank you, thank you.

  • Satellite A300D-205 - Fn buttons do not work with Win XP

    Hi all!

I installed windows XP for my toshiba Satellite A300D-205,

I found compatible drivers and all devices work properly except multimedia functions Fn and sensor-buttons next to the main keyboard!

I tried to install Toshiba Value Package added, but it does not work in win XP...

Do you have ideas of how make this stuff work? Y at - it Toshiba VAP for XP?

    All responses appreciated. Thank you.

    Kind regards...

    Look, man

The VAP (value added package) was designed for Win Vista and Win 7 ONLY!
There is no PPV for Win XP!

Satellite A300D-205 belongs to the PSAHCE but the Toshiba series European driver page does not provide the Win XP drivers for this series! There are only Vista or Win 7 drivers.

To be honest, Win XP is oldie was a King in the past, but the King living death the King (Win 7)

I doubt that you will get Win XP drivers created for this series and so I doubt that you will get to the buttons FN.
But of course, you can try to install common Module, Hotkey Utility, utility Hotkey to published display to other devices perhaps series (A300, A200, etc.), you could get the tools running that would allow the FN keys

You can try to install the CAM such as ManyCams software - http://www.manycam.com/
Basically, the program to access your webcam video and redistribute it as a video device ManyCam.

Satellite L500-128 - FN keys do not work with the help of the operating system Windows 7 x 64

    Hello

Satellite L500-128 belongs to the series of PSLJ3E.
The European driver Toshiba page contains all drivers for this unit.

Next to the installation of value-added package, you will need to install the Flash Cards Support utility v 1.63.0.4.
Buttons controls the FN Flash Cards!

The installation of two-finger scroll utility might improve the situation, but it does not work with Windows 8.

  • Third monitor does not work with Eyefinity more

I am trying to run 3 monitors on my ATI HD 5770

I have two computers that, for years, have worked with several thin monitors... until very recently.  Through all my updates to the OS, they continued to work.  I don't remember exactly at what time each card has ceased to power its third monitor.  Each of my "third monitors" would come on periodically until they all finally stopped.

All monitors are working fine as I juggle the cables and adapters each refreshes and lights up but not all at the same time.

Here's what I have available for troubleshooting.

I have two Mac Pros below.  (OS 10.11.6) on one and (OS 10.7.5) on the other.

Each tower has (2) 5770 cards installed that each have a DVI and 2 mini ports.

So I have a total of (4) cards and is starting the new one that I got on ebay last week.

    I have LG E2350V 23 "monitors (6) and (3) 22" ACER monitors

All my cables are active and I have several active adapters

I just bought some passive extra and many very active adapters to the experience and trouble shooting with.

Thanks in advance for the help and time!

DisplayPort and its variant electrically identical but small size Mini DisplayPort and the implementation which is a subset of Thunderbolt, any differential use (push-pull) of signals pilot very low voltage. They are MORE immune to noise than old methods because the signal is encoded on the difference between the two signals, not a single signal referenced to a "everybody" on the ground. If possible, you must connect all screens with DisplayPort [full-size] or Mini DisplayPort. These put a lot less load on your system.

When you convert this very low level signal to an "inherited" display, the map is short of ability to directly signal levels in the car high enough to be recognized after connection of TWO monitors legacy of any kind. If you choose to use a DVI or HDMI port supplied directly, that still counts as one of your two "free" conversions (It is also possible that a very fussy display is moved even earlier).

All display "legacy" beyond the first two requires ACTIVE description adapters. Adapters ASSETS contain re-drivers of signal and are therefore more expensive than ordinary adapters. Typical prices are of the order of $ 40, but competition has lowered some prices slightly. Mini DisplayPort has a descendant-comparability mode requested by the regular cards, who can get to produce a Single-Link DVI signal to up to 1920 wide, but a regular adapter not pushed the signal levels.

The Apple Mini DisplayPort to DVI Dual-Link, which is used for DVI displays wider width of 1920, is more complex and expensive and requires extra power beyond all signal re-pilots. This power is usually taken on a tail of pig USB, USB data are generally not used by the adapter, so a different USB power source can be overridden.

    Hello

I'm not very well if you get the FN m current buttons on this laptop computer as part of Win 7 because it s an older series.
But to my knowledge the FN buttons are controlled by the Support of Flash memory card utility.

Please check the driver series L500 area.
You will find the Support of Flash Card Utility and VAP (value added package).
Install first the PPV then Support of Flash Card Utility

  • External monitor does not work with Tecra M Series

When I first start the lptop I get the screen then I XP Flash on the external monitor perfectly clearly, however when it will boot Windows XP the external monitor goes haywire.

    Advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Either way, I just updgraded all display drivers and BIOS but with no solution to the problem.

Thank you very much in advance for all help/tips.

    Hi mate,

my suggestion is to reduce the resolution for the external montor. Maybe you have the problem that the resolution and frequency h/v is not defined as it should be.

When starting your laptop, then let the disconnected monitor. When the machine is running, then connect the monitor to the machine (it s OK, it s not dangerous or something) and then go into the control panel for the graphics card. There you can set the options for internal and external monitor.

Set the minimum resolution for the outside and try to activate him. It should work normally...

Please tell me, what kind of machine do you have? You need to give more information, so maybe other people with the same machine can help you.

    Welcome them
