Speakers or headphones not found

My PC is Dell Dimension C521. Maintain theNOTE from the ADMINlabel: maintain the label removed by privacy policy > OS Win 10

Can someone please advise.

My speakers and headphones are not. I tried different speakers and I get the message that they are not plugged in. I double checked all the connections and power. All seem OK.

I just upgraded to win 10 of Win 7 and stakeholders have been working since. Is this likely to be a driver or the card itself sound problem. I don't know yet if this model has a card or if it is integral with the Commission.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello Terry

After looking into this for you, the most common way to have audio play among two different devices is to use a virtual audio device called Mix stereo. I found a YouTube video where someone shows how he installed the stereo mix on Windows 8 Preview of consumer. Unfortunately, read the comments below several users report that the referenced driver does not work for the operating system Windows 8 to address fully released.

I'm not sure another way to have an audio reading of the two different devices on Windows 8.

    Hello
    Hello

I recently bought a new headphones for the game but had some problems with it and the sound system. A major problem is when I have someone call on Skype, the Skype sound or the call will go through the headphones, but on the other audio from the speakers. I also agree that also what iTunes does not work when I am in a call as well. Some examples would be that if I want to watch a YouTube video during a call, noise would come by the speakers and not the headphones. However, I found a solution for this. All I had to do was turn off the main speakers and the audio was transmitted to the headphones. Another example would be that if I want to run the games through Steam (Garry Mod, TF2, ect.), I get no sound in the game. Not through my speakers or headphones. With one exception, volume of Garry Mod, I can hear through the speakers so that in a Skype call, but I want the sound to come through the headphones. But with TF2, I have no sound whatsoever. If you need more information about me, feel free to ask. Thank you.

  • HP Envy 700PC: "entry not found sign" and the snoring of the enclosure of the screen

Lately has been a problem with my computer. I think that maybe the graphics card is wrong.

    I have a:

    HP Envy 700PC

    Model: 700-300z

    Still under warranty

    Everything is the same

    Upgrade to Windows 10

The first time it happened I was listening to music on Pandora while working in the room. I look above on my HP screen it say "Signal entry not found" screen will sleep mode but I couldn't ehre still play music. I repeated press ENTER, but he wouldn't return. After several reboots, the screen came back to the top.

Recently happened during the game World OF Tanks. What's happened is that my speakers are beginning to make a buzzing sound. He is yet to come of the audio, but it is really low. I then restart my computer to see if that solves the snoring. The HP logo appears and windows 10 thing round runs below it. Then my screen turns off and says 'not found input Signal. I repeated press ENTER, but it is not. I reboot and still the same thing happens, restart again and it's same thing, once again, but this time it starts normally. Once rebooted Windows speak it sound goes.

Last night I was playing WOT and the same thing happened with the speakers hum. I went to restart and got the white screen with the 'not found input Signal. I hit enter but he wouldn't do anything. I restart 3 times and still the same problem and the snoring has not disappeared while the screen was blank. I unplugged my power and the HDMI from the screen. I got out my old screen and hung up and that the screen worked fine and I've been to my login screen. Then I logged. Then I unplugged my old screen and hung to the top of my screen and my screen was now working well and rose windows.

I'm tired in making sure that the HDMI is secured to the back of the tower and when I wiggled it my speakers started to hum again. I left if go and after awhile the snoring got quieter.

I opened the tower and my graphics card fan works well, and there is no dust.

I've updated all my drivers with "Drive Booster" and they are all up to date.

    Thank you for product information...

What is likely to happen, it's that, as is all too typical, that the UPGRADE of Win10 have not installed the drivers for your video card, so that Windows can not see properly.

The good news is that HP does not provide Win10 video drivers for your PC, at this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-ENVY-700-300-Desktop-PC-series/6886619/model/6890453

The bad news is that HP provides several other different, and I have no way to know which driver is made to your machine because I have no way of knowing what video hardware, he has in him.

If you look in Control Panel-> Device Manager and there it says that you have the hardware, then you will know which driver to download and install.

    Good luck

  • Network not found

    Printer: OfficeJet 4500 Wireless (CQ663A)

    OS: Windows 7

    Router: Netgear824v3

    Channel: 6

    Type: Infrastructure

Mode: Automatic 108Mbps (selection automatic b/g)

    Security: WPA - PSK

    SSID broadcast: enabled

    Question: network not found.

two week, Samsung laptop computer (Win7) is located on the network.

5 months Dell desktop (Win 7) is on the network.

    1 # PS3 connects to the network

    2 # PS3 connects to the network

    Wii connects to the network

OfficeJet will not find the network.  He finds my neighbors, but not a network for my SSID.

I repositioned the OfficeJet 15 feet from the router, 6 inches between the router and into another room of the router.  I've moved or shut down wireless devices, speakers, etc., to identify/avoid interference.  I'm confused: why the printer will not detect my SSID broadcast.  It allows to identify the type of secutirty (WPA - PSK TKIP or AES), but can't find my network.  Ridiculous!

I downloaded, installed a ran HP Network Diagnostic Utility.  He said that the network is fine.  It lists the printer on its own network "hpsetup" but the printer can't find my network to connect when I run USB setup or manual configuration or the wireless Assistant.

    Any help would be great.

It is certainly strange.  Here are a few ideas:

    1. starting at the front of the printer: Setup > network > wireless network Test.  This will be the radio automatic test to make sure it's OK.

    2. open your Netgear router (type 192.168.1.1 in a browser address bar).  Make sure it has the latest firmware.

    3. While you're here, change the channel to 11.

  • Bluetooth not found

    Hello

    HP envy m6 1125dx, win8 64bits

I have the pc mentioned above for about a year now and always worked well.

I recently bought a parrot Zik bluetooth headset.

I had never used/looked for bluetooth on the pc before today.

I paired the headset with my phone, no problem at all.

Then, I tried to pair the headset with the pc.

The bluetooth icon is not found... and I don't remember ever having seen...

I go to the control panel > Device Manager > network adapters and I see that there are no installed Bluetooth adapter...

Then I open the service.msn file and I see that the 'Bluetooth Support Service' is running...

How can it work with no driver installed?

    So far I have tried:

    1. a hard reset of the pc (power off, unplug everything, pull battery, press the power button for 20 sec, battery in, pc Tower) did not work, still missing a bluetooth icon and in pc settings > wireless the option to enable or disable the bluetooth is not there.

    2 tried to install the following drivers, sp60480.exe, sp58944.exe, sp59207.exe, sp59021.exe and also www.Thomson-Broadband.com SetupBtwDownloadSE.exe

Once again, no luck. None of the drivers even installed...

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Should I just get an external usb Bluetooth adapter... ??? If so, any suggestions on which one?

This is a * beep * expensive pair of headphones and I hate not being able to use...

Don't think it's important, but I bought the pc in the United States but I live in Italy.

    Thank you very much

    Hello:

According to the specifications of the product on the link below, your specific model does not come with BT that's why nothing works for you.

If your model comes with BT, then he would have been listed next to the section of wireless connectivity.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03489413

You could either buy an external USB BT adapter or look in your owner's manual for a card combo WLAN/BT to buy support.

If you decide to do the latter, you can buy only one of the maps in the manual and it must have the HP part # on it or it won't work.

  • Audio comes through the speakers and headphones plugged headphones

Audio sound plays through the headphons and speakers when headphones are connected.

    Any advice appreciated

    Hello again Nervuz,

    Thanks for the quick response!

Based on the information you have provided, I recommend to uninstall and reinstall the audio driver for your desktop. To do this, please follow this document on follow-up with the IDT High Definition Audio Driverdownload and software uninstaller (Windows 8). If this does not work and you hear again audio to both the speakers and earphones, please follow the next step.

The next step is to run a diagnostics using Automated Troubleshooting (Windows 8)program. This should help with the audio in question.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

  • Dell Studio 540 no speakers or headphones Sound - win 10

My Dell Studio 540 lost out to attached speakers.  I can't tell if the problem is caused by the upgrade to win 10 or if I experienced a motherboard failure a coincidence.  I tried a number of bugs that include uininstalling pilots, roll back drivers and even install Vista drivers original I have original system disks.  Nothing works.

I see, looking at the acoustic, Panel output HDMI seems to work because I can see where it says sound when playing music.  However, I can't the speakers or headphones of entry to work.  Even if I try the speaker plugs into one of the entrances, the acoustic Panel still shows the headphones or speakers are not connected.

So, how can I get the systΦme can recognize that speakers have been connected?  Is there another driver I can use.  So far, I've tried several driver Realtek and configurations, does not

Apologies for the lack of your post. The Studio 540 has never been validated for Windows 10.

My advice is to disable the Realtek HD audio integrated into Bios - Advanced - Integrated Peripherals. Then install a current PCIe x 1 sound card in a PCIe x 1 on the motherboard slots. His current card will provide 10 Windows drivers.

  • No speakers or headphones plugged in error

I'm a Windows 7 PC operating and have problems with the audio. I plugged my headset into the Green 3.5 mm jack, that has worked for me before. Then one day it just stopped working and shows the ' no speakers or headphones are connected. Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem either.

    Here are a few screenshots.

Help please? Is it possible that the hardware has been damaged somehow? Thank you.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community forums.

What is the brand and model of the PC?

This could happen because of problems with the audio driver. But, as you mentioned that the driver works correctly, it could also happen that the audio device is disabled in the BIOS.

Kindly, follow these methods and check if that helps:

    Method 1:

Exercise the functions mentioned below to check if the speakers are disabled:
    a. Click Start, and then clickthe CControl Panel.
    b. click on the its, a new window will open.
    (c) in the new window, click on the read tab and right-click on the window and click Show disabled devices.
    d. now, check if the speakers are and right-click on it and choose Activate.

    Method 2:

If this does not help, please refer to and follow the troubleshooting:

"No speakers or headphones are connected" error on Windows 7

Important: Change the BIOS (Basic input output system) / Semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

Let us know if it helps. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you.

  • "No speakers or headphones are plugged ' driver problem

Recently I had some problems with my audio devices on my HP Pavilion laptop dv6, which does not allow me to choose my own devices by default when in the window "playback devices". For example if I got my headphones plugged he always missed that and physically wouldn't let me change to 'Speakers and headphones' it just did nothing when I tried.

To combat that I thought maybe I should try to update the drivers, this does not work either so I deleted and reinstalled them go to the HP website to find the right drivers for my laptop. However he still doesn't work and shows this:

But when I right click and press playback devices it shows to be installed and "apparently working:

Once more, he had the same problem not allowing not to me to choose my default but also I have now no sound on my laptop...

I tried a lot already for example when trying to install different drivers, and a restore of the system it will not accomplish either.

If it that someone knows that it will be greatly appreciated!

  • "No speakers or headphones are plugged."

After a reinstall of windows 7, none of the external speakers work.  The reason given is "no speakers or headphones are plugged."

    What I tried:

-Enter in the BIOS to make sure that the integrated audio system is selected (instead of link to my video card)

-Redownloading drivers (all are currently being updated)

    A few notes:

-Under 'Read' in the control panel > Sound, "Digital Audio (HDMI)" appears with "not connected."  There are no other options to select.

-My USB headset works perfectly - is that the external audio is not working.  The plugs at the front and the back of the computer both don't work (which I tested with multiple devices).

Data for the audio device are listed here:

    Name High Definition Audio Device
