  Hello

  You can specify the sampling frequency with "DAQmx Timing.vi" located in the function palette DAQmx (read context-sensitive help on how to use wisely).

  You do not have to use M & A exploring (MAX) to create a task.

  A simple and quick way is to use DAQ Assistant (same configuration as in MAX) to configure your measurement.

  Another is to use blocks of DAQmx function to manually build your application code.

  In my experience Assistant DAQ is ideal for simple tasks (one measure), with regard to the more complex measures (synchronized the analog and digital inputs).

  I tend to use function blocks because they give you more freedom about code execution.

  Note: You can also build DAQmx code from a wizard configured DAQ task.

  Have you tried to use the Zoom? This will decrease the size of everything on the page, including images. This might be perfect for what you're trying to do.

• Programmatically change the sampling for AO / DO

  I'm doing some AO / DO with a few tips, PXI, including a series PXI-6221 Mr., I wonder if it is possible to progammatically change the sampling frequency at a certain point in time.

  After awhile my program between a low-maintenance lifestyle and he needs go to exit rates very fast just to maintain some default values. I thought that the best way to proceed would be to change the sampling at very low frequency so the demand on the computer falls down, but the default waveforms are kept.

  Is there a way to do this? If not, is there another way to reach my goal? However, it would have to occur at the exact time that the first task to complete; I can't wait for the other task to be cleared, the new task to be launched, etc.

  I think that what you want is non-regeneration.

  Try the example Cont Gen Wfm - Int Regeneration.vi Clk - no voltage at the entrance of equipment & output > DAQmx > tension.

• This caused all THE files, including Windows to become READ ONLY - cannot change whatever it is and can not change itself.

  Saved programs & Docs to a folder on another drive. Made the file READ ONLY so she would not get changed. Windows RELOADED.   I'm sorry to say this, but you cannot back up Windows in this way. As you have unfortunately discovered, simply copying the program files does not work. You would have needed the system image using a program like Acronis True Image . There is nothing you can do about the programs; they should all be reinstalled from the media (CD or executable files downloaded from the Internet). With respect to documents, you can take possession of them. The read-only attribute is not applicable to folders in Windows XP.

  The option "Change only the size of the text" applies only to the text for the following items.

  Title bars

  Menus

  Message boxes

  Titles of palette

  Text of the icon

  ToolTips

  What you need to do is select the link "Custom resizing options" directly above the option "Change only the text size.

  In the dialog box move the cursor in the rule box, hold down the left button of the mouse and drag the rule. If the size is 100%, try to start with it to 125%.

  Click OK, and then apply. You will be asked to disconnect / connect to before the change takes effect.

  If 125% does not for you try to bump the size up one another 10% gradually until you are satisfied.
