Speech sounds

I'm still in the early stages of MainStage, but I was wondering if there is a way to assign a vocal sound to tell a battery?  For example, legacy, there are speech sounds that are different for each key as "Lets rock", "Redo" etc.  Is it possible to assign just a certain vocal sound (for example on c sharp) to a battery for trigger only that the sound?

Thanks for any help on this...

You can do it by building your own EXS instrument. It is not that difficult, it's just to create a slice with an EXS24, open the user interface, click the button Modify to open the Instrument Editor. Now do drag your vocal samples or sounds in the editor and adjust the main beaches. Everything is in the manual.

If you have logic, you can put all your vocal samples on the audio track and convert this into a sampler instrument track.

Best,

DaCaptain

I'm a complete noob when it comes to audio and hearing.

But maybe someone can push me in the right direction.

I have this clip from a man speaking in a classroom.

It was recorded with a Canon XF100 and no external microphone. I wish that I had, but I do not have a microphone along when I am traveling.

In any case his voice sounds a little hollow. It was about 5 metres the internal mic.

Y at - it a way to warm up a bit of his voice.

    I don't expect miracles.

    Thanks in advance.

    BTW I hearing CS6.

The reason why the sound is a bit 'hollow' is not your speaker - is the fact that you have saved all the ambience of the room, and it will be at least as strong as him (because it is 5 meters) and irretrievably mixed with him. We often get questions like this--and usually there is very little, or nothing at all, which can be done with it - this is like trying to unbake a cake.

That said, if it is not too bad, there is a piece of software called "Reveal" who could make a slight difference - although when I tried the trial, there was no practical difference to the material I used on this subject. • Simultaneous playback and record real-time show levels of vibrations and his Deputy

First of all I would like to stress that I am very new to Labview (using Labview 2011) and Assistant Sound and Vibration (Labview Signal Express 2011).  I'm starting a project to measure the speech (sound pressure using microphone) and the body of vibration (using the accelerometer) related to the acquisition of data NI 9234.   I looked in the tutorial and the examples provided with Sound and Vibration Assistant (SVA).   These examples allowed me to make a first recording that is connected.  I could view the playback display after I transfer the log to the data view.   Frankly I'm more sure of my measurement data if I could observe the timewave with speech variation.  I wonder if this is possible.  If it's possible, thanks in advance for pointing the direction.

    Thank you.

You can look at the data, because it accumulates in one of two ways:

    1. Create a viewer and drag out of the acquisition apparatus in the Viewer.  It will give you a live view of the data.

    2. Create a viewer and drag the newspaper in the Viewer.  By default, this should show you that the current buffer being written to the file.  You can change that to click with the right button on the graph to view in the viewer and selecting show the whole graph, a static part of the graph, etc.

    Hi BTKpickle,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forum.

There are several possible causes of the problem:

    ·         The microphone isn't close to capture your voice. Make sure that the microphone is positioned close enough and you speak directly into it.

    ·         The microphone is cut in. Some microphones have an external control for muting. Make sure that the mute control is disabled.

    ·         The microphone input level is too low. Make sure that the microphone input level is set correctly.

Entry level to adjust the microphone

    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking Start , clicking onto Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking its.

    2. click on the recording tab.

    3. double-click on the microphone you are using speech recognition.

    4. click on the tab levels and then use the slider to adjust the entry level for your microphone.

    ·         The microphone connections are not properly attached. Make sure that microphone cables are intact and unbroken. The connections to the computer can be loose, so unplug the wires and reconnect them by ensuring that they fit.

    ·         A different microphone is selected to be used with speech recognition. If you have more than one microphone installed on your computer, that bad could be selected to be used with speech recognition. Make sure that you use the microphone selected for speech recognition.

Change which microphone is used with speech recognition

    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking Start , clicking onto Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking its.

    2. click on the recording tab.

    3. Select the microphone that you want to use with speech recognition, and then click set as default.

Check the documentation that came with the microphone for additional troubleshooting information.

See if you are able to complete the installation wizard.

This means that the pilot is ok and possibly that the volume should be increased

    Reach:
    (1) control Panel-> sounds, speech, and Audio Devices section
    (2) select sounds and Audio devices
    (3) sound now and the Group of devices Audio will appear.
    (4) in reading his article click Volume
    (5) in the control of the Volume Group on all controls volume max (foot)
