  (a) update you are trying to install? (It would be better, if you can provide the number of KB)

  (b) are the other updates related to Windows from installing on your computer?

  I suggest you try the following steps:

  Step 1: Disable the software security and then try to install the update

  Note: Activate security software once the test is completed.

  Step 2: Download and install the update in the clean boot state

  To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows Vista, follow these steps.

  1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

  3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

  4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

  5. click on OK.

  6. When you are prompted, click on restart.

  After starting the computer, download the update manually and try to install it.

• Windows XP Installer does not not for updates or MS Office 2010. Error says Safe Mode, but I'm not in it.

  As far as I know the a Note is part of the recovery Image and the CD is not supplied with the unit. In addition, Toshiba units are not delivered with the Office 2000 software.

  I am running MS Vista with SP2 and when I try to use Office 2003, office 2007 tent install, the computer came up with an addition of the trial for office 2007 I have uninstalled 2007, I have office 2003 is installed and when I try to update I get a response to day 2007. It gets very frustrating to say the least, I feel if MS is endearing to cram Access2007 down in my mind, they must give it to me free of charge or leave the _!
