  You'll have a problem with a lot of AP autour 2.4 that is for sure.  However, make sure that you use WPA2-AES encryption.  Check if WMM is it on or off, test both on and then off.

  I think I solved it. I downloaded the driver realtek on the lenovo site installed and reboot. I checked the speed of connection and it was a good connection then better before. I put in sleep mode a couple of times and he will wake up again and I've always had a perfect connection.

  the server is 2008 r2.  file transfers are really slow. they work with files are TIFF which are 30-80

  MB in size.  the network is 1 GB

  We have updated the drivers and firmware of the NICs for the latest and best.

  the interesting thing is that when we unplug the network cable and plug back in or reset the CATV network on the client or the server.

  the speeds are fast as they should be about 20 to 40 minutes, then it slows to a crawl around 11 MB per second max transfer.

  I have tried everything I can think of that we did notches of reg, force SMB1 and other things to try to get the speed up. We also replaced the switches in the network.   Wireshark shows nothing abnormal.

  servers and workstations have been entirely patches and all drivers are up to date.

  Has anyone seen this problem? and found a solution for this?
