Split screen in two and purple lines with yellow screen?

So, I was watching a YouTube video and my screen started flashing all crazy. So I turned it and turn it back on and now my screen is yellow with purple lines and there are like two screens because it is split in the Middle goes horizontal. Sometimes I turn it on and it works very well for about 5 minutes then it starts flashing and goes back to all these things. I would like to safe mode, but I do not see Scripture because that its all messed up. I also try changing the screen resolution setting, but it won't let me for some reason any. Here's what my screen looks like http://s1353.beta.photobucket.com/user/zachman12356/media/untitled.png.html?sort=3&o=0

It is certainly not a question of Windows. You have probably one
problem with one of these three things:

1. the monitor

2. the video card

3. the cable connecting the monitor and video card.

First try the cable and make sure that it is closely related to the time
ends.

If this is not it, see if you can borrow a monitor from a friend and try
instead of yours. If this solves the problem, you need a new
monitor.
If this solves the problem, it is probably the video card. But
before you replace the video card, open the case and make sure that it is
sitting in his niche.

    Hi @phekal

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

So, it looks like you have intermittent video display problems. I'm happy to help you with this.

When happens the screen glitch happened after the computer has been running for a while, or it is immediately after power-up?

You said the problem recurs after a stop and restart. Is this an immediate restart or you let the system closed for a period of time?

If the computer is stopped, for say half an hour, and then restarted never arrive glitch screen?

I am trying to determine if it seems to happen when the computer is hot and has worked, or if it occurs also on starting cold. If this only happens when the computer is hot or warm, so it suggests a problem of heat or a board failure. If it happens randomly on a boot cold and often does not occur if the computer has been running for a long period, it may be a conflict pilot any.

  • Is there a way to create a topic with a shading behind the text and fine lines above and below?

    I work with InDesign CS6, Windows 7.

Is it possible, using nets of paragraph, to create a heading with shading behind the text and fine lines above and below the text?

I would like to create headers that resemble these:

    Headings.png

    Thank you!

A way to create a style of stoke (Stripe type) with a small percentage of height up and downstairs dedicated to scratches, then apply the color out in the dialog whn would you apply the contour to your net of paragraph style. The downside to this is that the 'weight' of the two lines can vary when you change the weight of the actual race.

To avoid this and still be able to ge the fill to expand the width of column, you can use a 1-cell table, or you could use rules above and below and underscore cutom for filling and key line with a tabulation of withdrawal right. If you need space on the left, as shown in the illustration, you would probably need a tab on the left as well, instead of a dash.

  • Canon G12_I cannot take a picture. Purple lines fade in and out, then black screen.

Uploaded a few photos off the G12 and then charged the battery and when I reinstalled the battery I could see pictures, but when I switch them to camera mode I have brief purple lines then black. And I'm not able to take pictures. Help!

Uh oh, sounds like the processor or sensor could have retired. I have to assume that you can not access the menu to do a complete reset of the system, so I remove the battery and try to keep about an hour. With the battery, press the power button and hold for about 10 seconds. Then, reinstall the battery and see if it does the same thing. If so, you may need to contact Canon on a repair, but that could be very expensive. It could have been a static load that occurred when you changed the battery, otherwise the processor or the sensor has reached the end of the line.

I feel your anxiety that I have a PowerShot G12 and this is my favorite camera. It is used there, and some refurbished, to replace it. I hope you can get it running again.

  • How can I configure a split screen to toggle between Thunderbird and Microsoft Word?

I want to switch back in a split screen side by side with a screen of Microsoft Word. I want this in order to transfer an e-mail addresses already, to a Word document where I can change and rearrange the addresses and add other addresses.

If you want problems. Copy and paste the addresses back and forth with Microsoft Word. Something like notepad may be appropriate. Word is not.

Regarding the self organization of the windows. Microsoft which has deleted some versions there is according to me.

Why not open the source of the message. Search the headers CC and BCC, the first lines and simply copy all addresses at a time. Are in the header on one line with a comma between them. Thunderbird user interface is not that you try to keep it simple.

  • IPad has dropped, screen is bright green and purple

I have an iPad Air that fell on a foot of my table to the President. The Chair is a wooden chair. The screen is not cracked or anything, but it has light, green, blue and purple blurry tint to it with floating bubbles in the background. Is there a way to solve problems to fix? I read online to type on the back of the iPad on apple symbol, but it does not work.

Everything still works, but the background is blurry.

I recommend you to visit an Apple store or an Apple authorized service provider. Looks like that the display cable is slightly detached. It should be fixed by opening the iPad and re - attach the cable.

  • Toshiba Satellite U400 - purple lines on screen

Hi, I had my laptop for about 2 years now, and recently, I noticed that when the screen is dark (as a background or black background dark) purple blurry horizontal lines appear at the top of the screen. Like at the top of 2 millimeters of the screen.

I also noticed that when I put pressure on the area around the touch pad the screen begins to glitch out and go spastic. Like all the purple lines. Especially around the bar at the bottom of the screen.

If I set the background to white lines disappear however and the affects to put pressure on the area around the touch pad are much less visible (if at all, I have to test it more)

Also when I plug in an external monitor (VGA) there is no problem on the external display.

So my question is, someone knows something similar and also it would be a software or hardware problem? And what do I do now?

    Thank you

Looks like a hardware problem. If the screen deforms when the base is pressed, then the graphics chip is probably defective. An FSL may quote you a new Mainboard.

  • Satellite P10: clouds white and purple fading across the screen during startup

I had problems with my laptop PC-10 so I bought a new hard drive (Fujitsu 60 GB instead of 40 GB) standard and have it myself. I was working very well with it for a long time, until suddenly I have had the strangest problem that I've ever seen on a computer...

Sometimes, when you start the laptop, instead of the screen normal red "TOSHIBA" and the message to start Windows XP, the laptop displays simply little weird white and purple clouds fading across the screen, fading finally on a screen very dark, but not quite black.

I thought first it was a problem with the DVD player, like when he finally gave and started normally, the DVD drive has been disabled. However, I noticed in the BIOS, under "Advanced" the Infrared Port shows intermittently - it shows with the [Disabled] setting next to him, but will be then disappear from the list, then reappear again and then go again and so on.

Sometimes my computer will function normally, then completely shut (mouse and all) and will restart with the clouds!

I looked in the Windows Event Viewer for when the laptop has locked up and have seen anything to do with a problem with IRQS for the Infrared Port. I disabled the infrared port in Device Manager (I managed to activate in the BIOS by loading the standard BIOS settings) and rebooted, but it started upward with the clouds once again, so I have the feeling that the infrared port is the culprit - loose connection may be defective material because it is located close to the DVD player and HD player.

I was wondering if anyone has seen something like this before on any computer, and if they knew how to solve? It seems completely illogical that a defective IR port could change what is displayed on the screen on startup, unless of course there is something wrong with my HD boot sector?

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Tom

    Hello

I've never seen like this problem before and I don't think that this issue has something to do with the HARD drive or the IrDA port.
As much as I know the IrDA port is not available on Satellite P10 - xxx

For me, this looks like a faulty screen or graphics card.
Have you tried to connect the external display? If this isn't the case, then try to do and check if it also appears on the external display.

I recommend also to recover the laptop with Toshiba Recovery CD and then check the functionality.
But if the malfunction appears so I would recommend contacting the Toshiba ASP for control from laptop
