SQL Dev 2.1 connected to a SQL Server query

I use developer SQL to query the oracle db and the results of the query, if I right click I get the following options;

Save grid under the report...
Single record view...
Number of lines...
Find/highlight...
Export data

However, when I do this on a SQL Server I get only the following:

Save the grid in the report...-c' is grayed out and cannot be used.
Single record view...
Number of lines...
Find/highlight...

I don't get the option to export, do anyone know why? or what I can do to get it?

With SQL Developer 2.1.0 export feature has been removed for all with oracle database.

In section 2.1.1 export feature works again if you need to export to SQL server, you should switch to 2.1.1.

    To sum it all up - I have a SQL Server query that retrieves the last my ambulances xy coordinates. I have a Coldfusion page that has a map of the brochure and the cfquery. My question is how to plot coordinates in a flyer plan. I can't understand the middle of the book to get the results of my query in terms of the brochure.

    In addition, it is a dynamic environment. Ambulances are constantly in motion. This page must be dynamic, so that the page can be updated to show the latest data.

    You must create the map and tile layer prior to place markers and then run your loop inside of the script tag.

    I highly recommend reading through the tutorials on the site of the brochure.  They go on these things in detail.

  • Independent research - how to join ODI - SQL Server

    Hi all

    My Sql server query joins as follows

    Select...
    Of A.DBO. MAIN
    A.DBO inner join. LOOKUP_STANDALONE on 1 = 1

    How to convert ODI?

    Thank you for the time and help.

    Hello

    I think what you want to do is a Cartesian join (join all the lines of the HAND with all the lines of LOOKUP_STANDALONE).

    You can do this in ODI by dragging a random column of the HAND on a column of LOOKUP_STANDALONE (any column). Then click on your join and check the box 'Cross.

    It will be useful,

  • Failed to connect to SQL Server SQL Dev

    Test the connection to Sql Server 2000 failed with "Unable to connect to MS SQL Server [ip address]." How can I find out why the connection failed? (bad port, invalid password, etc.). Thank you.

    Hello

    The first things to know when you connect to MS SQL SERVER is the host or ip address and port.
    If they are correct when you click RECOVER the DATABASE, you are able to see all the database on the server that you specified.
    Ways of connection are ok, but of course user and password is perhaps incorrect at this level.
    If no database is recovered, it means that the host or / and port are not correct.

    Then before to click TEST, you are able to recover the database with button to RECOVER the DATABASE?
    Are you able to ping the remote computer (SQL SERVER) with the ip address or hostname?
    Are you sure on the port for SQL Server?

    Kind regards

    Hello
    The configuration files look correct, except for the value of init4dgmsql.ora to HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO.

    The recommended settings are in format-

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO =:.
    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO =//.

    You defined as -

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = [SVR-DEV-CLU - 01:1434] / SQL2008/AdventtureWorks2008R2

    What happens if you set -

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = [SVR-DEV-CLU-01] / SQL2008/AdventtureWorks2008R2

    or

    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = [SVR-DEV-CLU - 01:1434] //AdventtureWorks2008R2

    Another point, you posted the SQL * Server as -information

    Server name: SQL2008\SQL2008
    Instance name: SQL2008
    Port: 1434
    Database: AdvebtureWorks2008R2 (case sensitive)

    so, is the name of the database AdventtureWorks2008R2 or AdvebtureWorks2008R2?
    Please make sure you use the correct name.

    Kind regards

  • Access DB in SQL Server using SQL Dev 3.2.2

    Could someone tell me how to set up SQL Dev 3.2.2 to access a SQL Server database. I am trying to connect to SQL Server 2005
    I tried to install the driver, JTDS JDBC of updates, but apparently not have installed anything.
    I have donwloaded a driver JTDS directly and tried a few statements used on the old version of SQL Dev, but when I copy the JAR files and ddl to the bottom of my window no longer works, once I have delete the connections I get it back.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    I often have problems to install third party JDBC drivers use check for updates. The downloaded files are of length zero.

    To manually install...

    Download jtds 1.2. Later versions are not supported.

    Place the jar somewhere.
    In sqldeveloper, go to tools | Preferences | Database | Third of JDBC drivers
    Click Add entry...
    Navigate to which you've placed the jar file and select it. Click OK and close the Preferences dialog box.

    The new connection dialog box should now include tabs for SQL Server and Sybase.

  • How to send the SQL for SQL Server statement and return data without using database connectivity Kit?

    Hi, I tried to figure out how to extract data from my SQL Server databases and reading messages and to do some tests with examples, I can get data connection type in my SQL server, but so far nothing helps.  Is it possible to get data from a SQL Server database without using the database connectivity Toolkit?  and if so, how?  are there whitepapers and/or examples of this?  So far, I can't find something that works.  Thank you.
