SRP547W with Hello

Hello

I've recently updated our network using the SRP547W and since the upgrade, no Hello services working on Macs, airports and iPhones that run on the network before.

All devices to connect wireless and are all on the same vlan.

I saw this thread that mentions a firmware update, but it seems to be running a more recent than the version:

https://supportforums.Cisco.com/message/3294935

News of the router:

Model: SRP547W, ADSL2 + annexed, 802.11n ETSI, 4FXS/1FXO
Version ID: V02
Hardware version: 3.1.0
Version of boot: 1.1.19 (August 24, 2010 - 20:50:42)
Firmware version: 1.02.00 (023) January 6, 2011
ADSL Firmware version: 0.60.0
Restore Firmware: 1.02.00 (023)

Can anyone help me please with all the parameters or steps I should take in order to debug or fix this?

Thank you

Benn

Hi Tim,.

Nick was kind enough to confirm that the problem has been corrected in a 1.2.1 construction, so the version on cisco.com engineering should be ok.

Can you be more specific about the problem you see?

Kind regards

Andy

  • Conflict with Hello

Windows live is in conflict with Hello in iTunes. I need to reset, iPhone and cannot do. All the answers?

I maintain that many computers and a number of them have Hello installed as well as all the other stuff from Apple.  Very few people even knew it's there or care.  Its purpose is to allow some uses that very few people never use.

I find a common place that it has literally hundreds of failures caused by Hello.  Check your Event Viewer Application section.

I routinely just uninstall Hello and have not yet heard a single complaint.

  • WRT 610N questions with Hello

    Hello

I tried to remote control my iTunes via an iPhone application called Remote library. He worked for several times with an intermittent disconnection because of the iPhone lock problem. But even after unlocking the phone and reconnect the wireless, remote control could not find my iTunes library and my only solution was to restart iTunes on the PC (which is wired Ethernet to my router).

A few days ago, nothing has worked! I cound not get to find iTunes remotely.

I couldn't find a solution even reboot the router or unplug cable Ethernet of the PC. Last night I turned off the router, and after 10 seconds I lit it again. And then it worked!

I strongly suspect a problem between my router and Hello that is UPnP, an Apple Protocol for the discovery of communicating devices. Phase of discovery is done usually with executives, broadcast something goes wrong in the router with broadcasts of treatment, or is it a problem of Hello?

Please note that even now, this distance can find iTunes, I still have my old problem of intermittent disconnection.

So I would like to know if anyone has experienced this problem, is there any incompatibility between WRT 610N and Hello and what is the solution?

    Thank you

    Fixed thanks to this forum.

The WRT610N web admin, I checked "Filter multicast" on the menu Security/Firewall and everything works well.

  • HP Deskjet 2540: Scanning with Hello multifunction

I'm trying to set up my second HP Deskjet 2540 on Mac OS X 10.10. I can see the printer in the Add Printer dialog box and it works as a printer when adding, but it only offers the possibility to add it as a 'Hello' instead of the meaning of "Hello multifunction" OS X does not provide the functionality of the device scan. My other office seemed to offer it and therefore the ability to analyze using the construction in Mac OS X tools rather than install the suite complete driver HP.

How can I get this also disabled option Hello multifunction printer?

When it is installed with just 'Hello', showing that 'gender' scanning option is not present in the printer dialog box.

I managed to find a useful thread

    http://www.Mac-forums.com/forums/OS-x-operating-system/318645-HP-OfficeJet-8600-scanner-will-not-work-OS-x-Yosemite.html

The key for me was installing HP v3.0 for OS X printer drivers after the package has been installed the all-in-one Hello was displayed when you try to install the printer and "Scan" option now displays in the section 'Printers and Scanners' for my DJ 2540.

    I hope this helps others.

  • Support to network with Hello printing/scanning

I currently own a network printer all-in-one HP PSC 2600. With my printer series 2600 PSC, can I print using the built-in Mac OS x (and) Windows drivers. Using Hello function of the web browser Safari (Bookmarks), I can find the printer by name, then analyze, check ink levels, and change the configuration of the printer using the web interface that provides the printer. I really like it because I don't have to install any additional software on the computers in my home or at work, and visitors can print/scanning (once connected to my secure network) without having to install anything except Windows Hello (if they have a Windows Notepad).

In any case, I think replacing it with a HP Photosmart Premium all-in-one or an all-in-one HP OfficeJet 6500 Wireless. I downloaded documentation and prospectus for sales of HP for printers and I can't tell whether a printer can be used for printing and scanning without installing the HP software.

    Just to be clear:
    * The printer will be connected to my network using Ethernet.
    * Printing and scanning will be mainly Mac OS. However, we often have visitors with Windows laptops who want to print and scan.
    * I won't have to install more software HPs for print or scan. I would like to be able to print via the installed system drivers and scan through a web browser interface.

Is this possible with the all-in-one HP Photosmart Premium or the all-in-one HP OfficeJet 6500 Wireless?

    Thanks in advance.

Both of these printers have the Webscan application on the built-in web server.  If your friends have XP they will not have a print driver.  OS X, Vista and 7 have built-in print drivers (SL, of course, also built the scanning driver).

Of the two, I would recommend the Photosmart.  The 6500 (and 8500) have had connection problems which are still pending (search this forum for a lot of messages).

What I suggest is to reset the printing system

Reset the printing on your Mac - Apple Support System

If the printer is connected directly to the mac with usb, it will be the most direct and fastest way to connect to that printer and it is advisable if the printer is not shared. If however the printer is shared, then install the printer using the Control Panel printer and IP, not Hello as connection type if you have problems with Hello.

the IP address can usually be found on a printer network ready from the interface or diagnostic print. For more information, check the printer documentation or Web site.

Any ideas?  I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and the printer driver on the computer as suggested by Epson.  Since they handed the issue to Apple because it does not work to the connected computer.

attach to the printer using the IP, I noticed that some of my older printers do not work will with Hello or transmissions were minutes taken at the place where complete as IP was instantaneous. • Error: "old version of Hello can not be removed, contact the technical support group" while trying to install Itunes

Original title: problem with Hello spoil reinstall iTunes on my PC

I uninstalled itunes today because of the problem with Hello, I'll tell (he was a snake swallowing its tail of history with this type), and now when I try to re - install, installation of demolitions for itunes, if Quicktime is going in, and then I like the old version of Hello cannot be deleted and to contact my technical support group.

Hello shows in Add/Remove Programs, but it will not uninstall. I used utility Eraser Tolvanen to crush every vestige and iteration of Hello I can find on my machine and other research increase nothing, but each try to install itunes is always abandoned for the old (imaginary?) version of Hello. I uninstalled Quicktime, too, before trying to re - install itunes.

One thing I can relate on the behavior of Hello, she was turning on my machine 5 - 10 times a week for a few months now.

  • Jobs FRUSTRATED stuck in the queue on Officejet 6500 with IP printing

I'm especially frustrated because I just typed in many details, and when I click on "Preview" my text disappeared. Thank you, HP!

Like others, I have an Officejet 6500 E709n. Print a test page, the diagnosis, the HP printer utility page, I cannot print any document. "They simply wander in the queue with the message host ' 192.168.2.6 network ' is busy. retrying in 10 seconds... forever. Yes, I tried to delete and add the printer again and he gets found very well.

    I can print with USB.

I can print with Hello (but which is slow, so I turned off)

It's okay if my OS X 10.5.8 laptop is connected wirelessly or through ethernet.

The printer is connected to the router Wireless Ethernet. At the present time, my mac is connected to the same router by ethernet. I just started the HP printer utility and printed page setup very well, showing the ink levels.

I'm guessing that it is a problem of intellectual property, and that the HP printer utility uses a different protocol to connect to the printer. Yes?

Fine, I can print from Windows 7 computer that is connected by ethernet on the same network. IP addresses are correctly reserved.

Please, someone help. I have a forthcoming major surgery and won't be able to walk upstairs to the office, so I really want to be able to print wireless from below. I bet once wired print jobs, the wirelss go, too.

Well well, thanks to the kind soul who wrote this:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/Mac-printing-and-scanning/duplex-printing-with-HP-OfficeJet-6500-wireless/m-p/129735#M3716

    (useful text cited below)

You can also modify an existing printer driver:

    (1) system preferences > Print & Fax

    2) click your printer

    3) click on the Options button & supplies

    4) click on the driver tab at the top

    (5) in 'print using... '. "drop-down, choose Select printer software...

    (6) locate HP OfficeJet Pro L7700 in the list

I followed the instructions to turn my printer OfficeJet OfficeJet Pro L7700 6500n driver. Let the JetDirect Protocol.

Now I can print when connected to the Ether - and I can print duplex. AND I can print wireless.

To sum up: If your print jobs stuck in the queue to print on a HP OfficeJet 6500n, but you can ping the printer or you connect via the HP printer utility, the following workaround solution:

Change the IP to JetDirect Protocol

Change the 6500n to OfficeJet Pro L7700 OfficeJet printer driver.

    SOLVED.

  • Printing with Hp laserjet P1102w wireless problems

Hi, I have problems printing wireless on my macbook with Hello. I set up the printer and it prints ok. But after awhile, it loses comunitcation. I always turn off my router to reset everytime I need to print. I tried the printer of the assign a static IP address, but it still does the same thing.

    Hello

To address the issue of Hello, probably it depands on your router, will be helpful to know your router brand and model to better understand the reason.

To work around the problem, you can also set the printer by IP, in my view, it should help:

    1. Go into System Preferences > Print & Fax or printing & scanning.
    2. Click on the Plus sign to add a printer.
    3. Click the icon of the IP above.
    4. Select the HP Jetdirect Socket Protocol.
    5. Type the IP address of the printer.
    6. Confirm and will create a new queue.

Print using the print queue newly created, listed as the IP address of the printer.

    Kind regards

  • Y at - it a library for mdns Hello connectivity?

    Hello

For one of my projects, I need to have connectivity on UDP Hello, I already managed to set up a connection socket UDP between the PlayBook and my computer, but I don't know how to do with Hello.

Been to a library already available for the PlayBook or QNX?

    Thank you!

LOL, okay, well I'll then return PySide. : PEI

But I took a quick glance for you and started to do some work.

    http://opensource.Apple.com/tarballs/mDNSResponder/mDNSResponder-333.10.tar.gz

Take this archive and extract it. If you look in the folder that extracted, you will see a mDNSPosix folder. If you look inside, you will see a Makefile. Adding these lines will help you get started:

    Lines 102-110

    ifeq ($(os),qnx)
    CC = ntoarmv7-gcc
    CFLAGS_OS = -I/opt/bbndk-2.0.0/target/qnx6/usr/include
    LD = ntoarmv7-gcc -shared
    LINKOPTS = -lsocket -lnsl -lresolv
    ifneq ($(DEBUG),1)
    STRIP = ntoarmv7-strip
    endif
    else

and add the following code at line 172

    endif

You will need to set up a build environment on Linux/Ubuntu, most likely. If you install the build-essentials and bison of apt - get, which should you get what you need to start building. I was in the middle to find the compiler options to have find the headers when I stopped to write this post.

EDIT: this looked a little bit more, your next obstacle is the lack of syslog.h. It is not bundled with the NDK. For after this post:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/native-development/syslog/TD-p/1424045

you need to implement your own, or remove files somehow. To be honest, I don't think it would be difficult to implement yourself, but just to go there for the moment, I would remove it and all the functions that reference, for now.

    Give me a like. ;-)

    Hey gesinger,.

at the present time the playbook supports only Flash/AIR, which means that you must provide a SWF file so that your application is running. This is a very good explanation of why this is the case:
