SRW208G DOWNLOAD startup config

I try to upload my switch via Telnet or SSH interface configuration data, but cannot make it work. I have confirmed my server TFTP OK works. The switch is running v1.04 firmware. If I leave the field empty file name I get a response of "unknown error." If I try to enter a file name, this isn't because I go I always get "File not found" backwards as if the system tries to download instead of downloading?

Source file has the value 'startup-config' and 'tftp' destination

Why won't this work? Y at - it a trick without papers to get it work? I need to access it via Telnet/SSH to automate the backup of the config.

After a fight, I managed to download the file via the HTTP interface, but only after access to the URL directly instead of by executives. It seems to be serious problems with the Web interface, because it doesn't work at all with Mozilla and barely works with IE v7.

I finally got to work. You must set a password for the user that you are connected to the switch as, for example "admin". If you leave the empty password according to the default settings, you can not download the data of configuration via Telnet or SSH. That seems a little weird that you can download the config via the Web interface without a password.

  • New startup-config on a ASA (urgent)

Is it possible to copy a file to the Flash of an asa and then copy this file to be the starup-config?

I need to change a running-config on a set a little asa, and I already have the compound running-config I need, I actually copied it from this asa even before I changed the all for some purpose of DR.

I copied the config I want to run to the asa and made a "beginning of copy flash: rcfg ' and copied the file to the startup-config, but once I did a"write mem"he will return to the startup-config to the running-config now. Anyway to make the stick of the startup-config so it will boot the in the running-config instead of the running config running?

Do not have a wr mem, you don't need to. Once the new file is the startup configuration, it is there, just restart.

    Hello

I have faced the same problem and opened a folder. Please find the answer I get from the TAC:

    ==============================================

This is designed by design as a security measure. Starting in the new versions of IOS, the privilege level of access to system files must be configured separately. There are two options to solve this problem:

    (1) run the command at the prompt to activate it.

    (2) set the privilege level of the file system via the config command "file privilege X" with X the number of privilege level

    ==============================================

    Hope that helps.

  • What is xwvorgutssd in my startup config? Anyone know?

I searched and have no idea what it is. Trying to find out if necc to start

    Thanks for any info

The short answer is that you must remove this entry from your configuration to start using Autoruns (see below).

You seem to be a step beyond the majority of posters who ask something like: 'why do I get an error message that xwvorgutssd.dll can not be found when I start Windows?' because you have already discovered the entry in your startup configuration (probably using msconfig).

    Here is the generic answer:

Looking for errors like this by doing a search on Google for the name of the file.  Usually, they turn up without success.

When a search in no hits or suspicious hits result, the answer is usually that the file in question is linked to the malicious software and your anti-malware application has deleted or quarantined file, but left to the Windows registry entry that tries to start the malicious software when you start your computer.

First of all, download, install, update and run a scan complete with each of these free analytical tools:

    MalwareBytes AntiMalware
    SUPERAntiSpyware

Do not run the scans at the same time.  They can take some time, so start an and then go for a non computer chore for awhile.

If the scans does not solve the problem (and they can't, because the actual malware file has already been processed), then download and run Autoruns.  Click on the "Connection" tab and look in the column 'Image path' for the dll named in your error message.  If it is not displayed in the connection tab, click the "all" tab and use the file > search tool.  A characteristic of the search of Autoruns tool is that you must move the selection under the element line "found" before you "Find Next."

Once you find the line with the file in question, either "delete" or (if you want to be safer) uncheck the box.  The latter prevents the line running, but you can reactivate it later by removing the check mark.

If you do not or can not borrow a DVD from Microsoft there is a download of a file ISO of Vista Startup Repair available that you can put on a floppy Bootable to the above startup repair and that the method is recommended by a large number of posters in these Forums.

Unfortunately, you have to buy it.

Here is a link to it:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2011/Windows-Recovery-discs-updated-reinstated/

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

  • vWorkspace 8.6.1 connector self-configuring config.xml

We have just upgraded to the server vWorkspace v8.6.1. When we used 8.0.1, we had connectors 8.0.1 windows that would automatically get "'vworkspace.somedomain/config.xml ' and automatically configure the VDI settings clients." I've updated the client to v8.6.309.4062 and this time I'm just introduced to enter 'Web site or e-mail address' in the text box. Here, at the University, we loved this feature because it that VDI has been automatically configured and students do not have to enter the URL. Who feature has been removed from this version?

    Hello

I believe it has been deleted, but several alternatives have been introduced.

I know that the reg key to set the path always exists HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Provision Networks\Provision - Client\AutoConnectURL IT and still works with this version of vWorkspace.

This is a string value that contains the path to your broker (if you use the new connector management functionality) or to your file config.xml if you use the old style.

With the new direction of connector, the intention was to make it easier for new users. Everything they need to do is go to a (properly configured) Web site and it will install the connector for them and configure it automatically.

If you don't want to use this option, you can either 1, use the URL of automatic connection mentioned above. 2, teach them the URL to download the config 3, create a DNS entry to use the E-mail address configuration option.

    Thank you, Andrew.
