  I use the updated sdk docs documents.  I have a plugin very simple helloworld.  It is composed, as in the example of echo service, she passes a string to a simple java service and receives the back string to display the user interface.

  I also tried to look in the Tomcat catalina logs, but I don't see anything here that stood out.  In addition, newspapers just VPXD seem to show where I'm logged in, but no additional help for error details.

  I have attached a snippit of the wrapper.log containing any errors in this region, if you see something that I missed.  When you get to flex errors, you will see that it fails due to the dependency (as expected) because the java part does not load correctly.

  OK, I misunderstood your original problem.

  The answer is that you can continue to use Java JDK 1.7 as long as you set the compilation option - target 1.6 to generate binary compatible Java 1.6. The Web client server still uses JRE 1.6.

  I need to update the QA database on server QA with the Production database on the Production Server. I intend to copy logs files from data/recovery of the Production database to replace the QA database datafiles/recovery logs. Should I stop the Production database before you start copying? If this is not the case, what happens if a Production database data file has been copied to QA and then this Production obtained data file updated before other newspapers of data/recovery files have all been copied to QA?

  If you use this technique without closing the database, copied datafile/recovery logs will be incompatible.

  You can use the RMAN utility to take backup of the production database and restore it on server QA.

  If the database size is small (about 10-20 gb) you can use EXPDP/IMPDB.

• CFFORM - form validation does not AT ALL during the test on the production server

  So I did all my tests on my local test of Coldfusion server. All form input boxes are validated correctly, with a dialog box popping up when it has not been completed

  When I upload it on the production server, also running ColdFusion 8, it not there no event at all - no dialog boxes, cfform validation etc...

  I use the same client computer to test locally as I test it on the web, and yet I get two different results! Any ideas?

  THE FIRST THING to check in this case, it is that you can connect properly to the/cfide/scripts/folder via the web site on the production server.  This scripts folder is where ColdFusion retains all its javascript, CSS and other client files used in computing, the and other client UI features.  If your browser cannot access these files, these features will not work.

  Rapid tests is just to put the /cfide/scripts/wddx.js in your browser on the production server and see if you get the right javascript file.  If this isn't the case, you must make sure that there is a CFIDE virtual directory configured in your web site and that this directory is readable by users.

  Oracle.DataAccess.dll is a piece of ODP.NET - there are managed components, not managed.

  In short, you need customer Oracle and various pieces of ODP.NET for a successful deployment. The client may be either a full or instant client and the version must match the version ODP.NET. Be aware of the 32-bit vs 64-bit issues as well (i.e. develop on 32-bit and deploy it to a 64 bit with 32-bit client server will cause problems if you have not set the 'target platform' correctly when you build your application).

• Local language wrong in the production server.

  I have an app with a few projects with all two locale - Faroese and English. When I run the application on the application by default server on my local machine, it works fine with the locale Faroese, but when I deploy on our production server and try to run it from there the Faroese local doesn´t works more for one of the projects.
  
  For this project the values that are bound to properties files in my viewcontroller are indicated in Faroese as it should, when the application is run from the production server, but the values that are related to the entity objects and display the properties of the objects files do not work as they should more. English values instead of the Faroe Islands so the English files property are met, but the server does not be able to understand that the Faroes properties existing files or for some reason some prefer the local English for this project so that it can figure out to see other projects in Faroese, so I guess that the error is somewhere in my model project given that the locale Faroese works for my other projects on the production server, but I can´t find out where.

  I think you've hit a problem with case name of the resource bundle files (* .properties).
  Even windows file system is not case sensitive that your file names MUST be exactly like the bundle Resource Manager is seeking.
  This works also on embedded because the resource bundle files are located directly on the file system.
  When you deploy the EAR/WAR files externally as files are found by the jar/zip finder which is case-sensitive!

  for example: bundlefile_EN.properies is not the same thing as bundlefile_en.properies

  For immediate solution, we killed the process, but it did not help, then you need to restart our server.

  Review of the files from the server, found some missing files in CFIDE dir... so I copied the files from another installation of cfmx7, CF restarted and it solved the problem

• Delete all snapshots completely hosed my server

  I have a server ESXi 5, a 750 GB (698GB or so, is usable) local data store, quad Xeon, and 16 GB of RAM. There are two vm (s) - we're a firewall which takes about 10 GB (20 has been allocated) and the other is an Exchange Server that has 500 GB allocated was almost complete with the exception of about 10 GB. Both have been implemented using thin provisioned disks. There are also approximately 4 or 5 pictures taken of the Exchange virtual machine. Thinking that I had to delete the snapshots before you try to resize the virtual drive of 500 GB, I hit the button Delete button instant everything. All the snapshots have been removed from the list and then I could not start the virtual machine due to the lack of storage. He said that nearly 698 GB has been awarded! Then I deleted the tiny snapshots for virtual firewall machine and was able to boot the virtual machine Exchange. After doing a little housekeeping on the vm changes that I stopped him. Try to solve the delete all snapshots problem, I tried the "consolidate all snapshots' option. After several hours of waiting it failed due to lack of space. So, I thought I would reboot the physical machine to see if that helped. When he returned he showed that TB 1.4 or so, space has been allocated! And I could not start anything. Then I ran down to the server room, installed a 750 GB extra hd and started trying to move the virtual machine to empty disk. Well, who seems to have been an even worse mistake to delete all snapshots. Not only this process fails, but now the new hd (datastore2) is completely filled and the original datastore1 has about 132 GB free. The problem with this is that the virtual machine is now spread over these two data stores. Now, I've added another store of data via nfs (nfsdatastore) that has free 2.6 TB and I'm currently copy the entire contents of datastore2 via the cp command in a terminal (ssh remotely controlled).

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  OK, so let's try to clone the virtual disk in the NAS data store. Please follow the steps below and ask if there is something you don't understand or something does not work as expected.

  • Create a new folder on your NAS "UDT-MX09-EPSI" data store
  • from archive attached extracts "UDT MX09 (Exchange EPSI) .vmx" to this new folder
  • move 'UDT MX09 (Exchange EPSI)-000004.vmdk' to "datastore2/UDT-MX09-EPSI" on "datastore1/UDT-MX09-EPSI-2".
  • move 'UDT MX09 (Exchange EPSI)-000005.vmdk' to "datastore2/UDT-MX09-EPSI" on "datastore1/UDT-MX09-EPSI-2".
  • from archive attached extracts "UDT MX09 (Exchange EPSI)-000003.vmdk" "datastore1/UDT-MX09-EPSI-2"replaces the existing file.
  • from the command line run:
    "vmkfstools-i" / vmfs/volumes/datastore1/UDT-MX09-EPSI-2/UDT MX09 (Exchange EPSI)-000004.vmdk "" / vmfs/volumes/nfsdatastore/UDT-MX09-EPSI/UDT MX09 (Exchange EPSI) hard. "

  If cloning is successful, do a right-click the virtual machine in the inventory and select 'Remove inventory', then - using the browser from data store - click with the right button on the .vmx file in the folder of the virtual machine on the NAS data store and select "add to the inventory.   I've also known questions about that and we opened a SR at VMware.

  VC to vote for the result of a create_snapshot, as you write, only VC to expire if create_snapshot takes more than 15 minutes.

  To increase the timeout between VC and an ESX please try the following (timeout 180 minutes):

  On ESX:

  /etc/opt/VMware/vpxa/vpxa.cfg

  I have a Production database with a physical standby created and run in our remote data center and this configuration worked well for several years.

  
  

  Recently, I had 2 two new mount points, added to the Production Server but unfortunately do not have their created on the standby server.  I did not remapped mounting points, so the layout is identical between the Production and standby.  At least it was.

  
  

  I created several new data files on the Production Server using the new mount points.

  
  

  Once I realized my mistake, I had additional mounting points created on the standby server.

  
  

  I STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT = AUTO on the day before, but obviously the new data file was not created since mount points were not available when they were added in the Production.

  
  

  Without the mount points and therefore the new data files, on the eve, archive logs are not applied on the day before.  There are currently about 150 newspapers that must be applied.
  

  
  

  Question: Can I copy the files of existing data from the Production Server to the standby server and Data Guard will know which archives newspapers must be applied to standby data files to bring them current with the files of Production data?

  
  

  If this is not the case, how can I get the new data files created on the eve and a return to synchronization with the Production?

  Once the mount points are created on the eve, manually resume the managed recovery. The day before would have abandoned managed recovery so you don't have to make it work again. The transaction that has been reproduced that requires mount points should not proceed. Given enough time, the wait will catch up to where it should be. If it's not fast enough, then use RMAN to roll forward the day before as indicated in a previous answer.
