Standard OpenHCD USB Host control stopped working (Code 10)
Twice this week, taken my notebooks usb stopped working, after you run the troubleshooter and clicking on the fix for this problem - nothing the problem was still there.
Open the console of the system and by clicking on host usb controller he helpfully said that the device was not working (code 10) I have no idea what code 10 is.
I did a system restore and it worked, however to start this evening the problem was back, I did a reboot and now the usb taken work once again, can anyone help? Please, I beg you.
Hello Winston M,.
I uninstalled all the USB drivers, restarted my laptop and on my spare mouse inserting my laptop did indeed reload the usb drivers and everything works now. Thank you.
The culprit was a driver for a HP officejetpro who has been uncomptable with my CPU (AMD C - 50 rated at 1 GHz). Windows7 64 bit, 4 GB of Ram. HP sent me a fix but as nothing works I could not install it.
I have not yet installed the printer. and once again thank you for your advice.

Don't believe one thing, or say similar sites. They are only after your money.
To top it off they often install software that can be difficult to uninstall, and if

All USB keyboard has stopped working
HelloAll USB keyboards have stopped working on my installation of windows 7. They work fine in the BIOS or on my Ubuntu installation. When I plug a keyboard, it still gives an error code 29 (drivers not found). I tried using two keyboards: a Logitech Gaming Keyboard G105 and a fairly generic wireless keyboard (a dongle to connect to the computer).
I tried to uninstall it from the Device Manager and plug or restarted again, but the result is the same. Windows Update cannot find driver updates, and a system repair disc doesn't detect any problems. I temporarily created a fresh install of windows 7, which recognizes the keyboards very well. There is no driver available manufacturer (attempt to all keyboards are supposed to use the base drivers), and the keyboard Logitech gaming software does not see that it is there. 'Control Panel-> devices and printers' keyboards of lists of names, but the shows not even the stuff of work that is just under the Device Manager and the problem-solving the tent and is unable to find the drivers again. Try to select the driver HID keyboard in the Device Manager just in fact give the code 10 error (device does not start) instead.Nothing I've tried has gotten me anywhere. I would rather not re-install Windows 7, like all the time and effort to get my system how do I like it took me forever, but I can't see how I solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated.Thank youZodenThere is a good chance a "repair" install will fix the problem as a "repair" install should re-create any missing or corrupt driver installation file.

I get a Microsoft Search Protocol Host has stopped working the alert box. How to solve this? It gives me the option to 'Search online (recommended)', but when I click on it nothing happens. Tried to restart and used Malware Bytes and my security suite Norton to seek something malicious, without success. Any suggestions?
Hello
1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
2. when exactly you get this error?
I suggest you try to reset to a new start Indexing Options by removing and then rebuild the index and check if it helps.
Your search index requires virtually no maintenance. However, if the index looking for files that you know problems must be in a location indexed; You may have to re-create the index. To rebuild the index:
a. open indexing and Search Options by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Indexing Options.
b. click Advanced Options, click the index settings tab and then click on rebuild. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

USB mouse & keyboard stop working after the upgrade of Intel generic drivers drivers!
Original Post: USB mouse & keyboard stop working after upgrade to generic drivers
After you install Windows, the Generic USB controller drivers are installed. My mouse & keyboard as planned work & that are each recognized as "compatible mouse/keyboard HID."
After I installed the Intel drivers for root USB controller, the mouse & keyboard stop working and are classified as unknown. Shortly after, they are considered HP USB Optical Mouse & HP USB Standard keyboard, however the drivers never properly install and they remain under unknown devices with a yellow exclamation point.
I have searched high & low for these device drivers, they do not exist. I installed the drivers for all of the materials appearing on the site of the seller. This has happened on several computers, laptops and desktop computers.
I've done all the troubleshooting I can think. Uninstalled all the controllers/USB hubs & restarted. Switched USB ports, I tried new mouse & keyboard, wanted Windows updates.
The only way I can make it work is if I use the generic Windows drivers, who then recognized the mouse & KB "HID compliant". It seems that if I install Intel drivers, it recognizes the mouse & keyboard more in detail and he wants specific drivers to continue.
Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the reply.

During the windows start my computer running a disk check. It freezes during the disk check, and I have to restart the computer. I can jump the disk check, and my computer opens a session normally. Hello world
You can determine exactly what causes most of the problems by following the steps below:
Method 1: Put the computer in safe mode and see if the problem persists:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
Method 2: Clean boot
If the problem is not repeated in safe mode, there is probably a startup item or service is causing the problem. Follow the steps on the following link to locate the item or service responsible for the error:
