About a week and a half, it started running very slowly with the spinning beach balls popping up all the time. This reminds me of how when I have too many tabs of the browser as in the past, but now, even with browsers had closed, open Word or Skype is really slow. You Mbps HARD drive is suspect. Start the recovery (COMMAND-R) partition and select in menu 4 disk utility. Run disk utility > first aid > repair.
Unrelated, but your battery has seen a lot of use. I suggest to replace.

last week I installed 2 Apple airpot extreme and hard wired two airports and my mac, my wifi I and the entire system is running 5, speed, download upload, and ping 11ms. 8mbps 5.9mbps I uninstalled Silverlight, Lightroom and most of the apps I use, but I can't figure out the problem. Any ideas on what I can do to get my mac back to the current? I'm about to take my mac at the Apple store because she is still under warranty.

See PML answer and I would add the following. Start | Run will not work for each program that you have installed. In general, it should work * only * for programs that are part of Windows.
See please tell what works when you type in the start menu. Run, and what does not.

1. you can use the search box instead of running it. It all works the same.
2 in this case is to know how to restore/enable option run in the right side of the Start Menu:
Right click on the Start button > properties > at the top, click on Start Menu tab > click Customize > scroll to find command run, put a checkmark in the box > OKYou check Startmenu. Execution option should be there now.

Where as on my system still Sites runs correctly.

I had not myself but a quick search suggests this may occur if VC ++ and Visual Studio is installed also, causing the SitesExplorer to load one different version of the C++ runtime other than that it provides. Event log Windows could give more details.

I have a mini-tower with windows OS computer using the Firefox browser, it started to run slowly, 3Mbps, while on the same machine using for example the download speed is about 6 Mbps, which is what I used to get with Firefox. Oddly enough, I have another machine a net book with Linux OS and Firefox browser and who always gets a good speed to about 6 Mbps, which seems to point to the windows version of Firefox being the problem. I tried twice to reinstall Firefox, but there is no improvement, recently, there has been a couple of updates for Firefox and would like to know is possible to go back to an older version to see if that solves the problem.
I was so sure that I could be that the problem was with the combination of f-secure, windows vista and Firefox. The O.S. I can not change, Firefox I won't change if f-secure has drawn the short straw. Fortunately, I don't have a long contract with f-secure, I so uninstalled and moved, replacement works very well, too short life.

Then, he suddenly decided to let me do an edition on a picture but when I click on "save under" the entire program window has disappeared. That's what it is. I can get the program to open, but if I click on options such as you upload a photo or save an image, or if I click on 'Help' and try to look at the user manual, etc., the program immediately shuts down / disappears.
Today, I decided to use HP Photosmart for the first time (since I installed the printer last week), edit a few photos. The first time I clicked on the icon, the program window appeared and I would like to look at the features and watch the video tour.
