Start the custom of MacBook in any mode or recovery (white screen)

MacBook Pro late 2011 with El Capitan

My macbook does not start in any mode. There is just the usual startup chime and after the apple logo bar progresses about 1/8, a white screen appears and stays like that. I tried leaving on the white screen until the death of the laptop. Load again and same result.

I tried to boot mode safe, progress bar went a bit far, but same result.

I tried to boot into Recovery Mode, same result.

I tried recovery of the internet, it downloads completely, apple logo appears, progress bar screen implemented site, black, then back to the white screen.

I tried the single user mode since I can't boot into recovery mode and using the AF - of fsck command, until he says seems to be ok. then by restarting. Did not help.

Tried to reset the NVRAM, no change.

From time to time when it starts. I see that kernal_task uses high amounts of cpu and memory. I tried to use time machine, but for some reason any he usually read my external hard drive when I try to use disk utility.  So I just use it until the entire screen turns blue and restarts

Looks like a hardware failure and could be linked to a known problem that Apple has started offering free repairs.  Take a look at https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro-videoissues/

I make a Genius Bar appointment or take it to a service provider.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    Hello

Have you tried another recovery option?

I suggest you to press the F8 key as the computer starts up to the top and check the option in the advanced boot menu.

Advanced, including safe mode startup options

If you are able to open the advanced boot menu then you can execute the menu command prompt and type the command and check.

    Type CHKDSK c:/r or

    Type CHKDSK c:/f

Important: even if running chkdsk on the drive if any bad sectors are found, chkdsk attempts to repair this sector and if all data on this sector it could get lost.

If you are not able to perform the steps then you may need to get the Vista installation DVD. You can contact the manufacturer for more details.

    Method 2:

The access system recovery option and then run restore the system to a point when the computer was working fine and check if it helps.

What are the system recovery options in Windows Vista?

  • Burrito of flash builder design mode is a white screen and does not not all components

Hey guys, for some reason none of my components appear any, when I go to design mode in flash builder burrito, and the screen is white. When I run the app, it works very well and seems very well my only problem is that I don't understand what is happening in "Design Mode". Someone has a similar problem to this, also, I don't get any errors about not being not able to load the design view just a pop-up that says that it takes a while to load and to continue or not. The only time I see a component is when I go to the source and highlight a component then go into design mode, then u see a blue outline of the component. You can see in my screenshot above. • MacBook Pro A1278 starts with black or white screen

Please help, my 13 "Macbook Pro, circa 2011 displays a white screen briefly and make sound boots, then goes to a white screen.  I tried to reset the PRAM a couple of times, no luck, reset SMC strikes did not help.

Can anyone offer additional troubleshooting steps?

    Thank you.

Please take each of these steps that you have not already tried it. Some of them are not applicable to your model or your situation. Stop when the problem is resolved.

To restart a computer is not responding, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the unit turns off, then release, wait a few seconds and press again briefly.

    Step 1

The first step to respond to a startup failure is to secure data. If you want to keep the contents of the boot drive and you have not already at least a current backup, you should try to back up now, before we do anything else. It may or may not be possible. If you don't care the data changed since the last backup, you can skip this step.

There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to boot. You need an external hard drive to store backup data.

    a. starting the partition recovery or an hour Local Machine backup volume (button option key at startup). When the OS X Utilities appears, launch disk utility and follow the instructions in this support articleto the title of the "Instructions for the backup on an external hard drive via disk utility". The article refers to the start of a DVD, but the recovery mode procedure is the same. You don't need a DVD if you use OS X 10.7 or higher.

    (b) If step 1 fails due to disk errors, and no other Mac is available, then you may be able to save some of your files by copying them in the Finder. If you already have an external hard drive with OS X installed, the start of it. Otherwise, if you have access to the Internet, follow the instructions on this page to prepare the external hard drive and install OS X on it. You will use the installation program of recovery, rather than download it from the App Store.

    c. If you have access to a Mac, and it work and have both the non-working Mac FireWire ports or stroke, start the Mac non-working in target disk mode. Work Mac to copy the data to another drive. This technique will not work with USB, Ethernet, Wi - Fi or Bluetooth.

    d. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is replaceable by the user, remove it and climb into a docking station that is pregnant or an external drive. Use another Mac to copy the data.

    Step 2

If you have booted from an external drive, make sure that the internal boot volume is selected in the pane of the system preferences Startup disk.

Start in safe mode. Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. If you do not see the words "Safe Boot" in the start screen, you did not start in safe mode. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, and some things don't work at all, including the networks without wire on some Macs.

The login screen is displayed even if you normally connect automatically. You must know the password for the connection to connect. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

If the startup progress bar gets stuck for more than a few minutes, or the system stops automatically when the progress bar appears, the boot volume is corrupted and the player is probably defective. In this case, go to step 9. If you have another problem with the player, replace it immediately.

If you can start and log in in safe mode, empty the trash and then open the window of info on the boot volume ("Macintosh HD", unless you have given it a different name.) Make sure you have at least 9 GB of space available, as shown in the window. If you do not, copy as many files as necessary on another volume (not another folder on the same volume) and delete the originals. Deletion is not complete until you empty the trash again. This, until the space is more than 9 GB. Then restart as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)

If the boot process hangs again, the problem is probably caused by third-party software you have installed. Ask for additional instructions.

    Step 3

If the startup process stops at a gray screen together with a mobile cursor, then the logon dialog box may be active but not visible because of a bug. You may be able to connect by using the arrow keys or the cursor to select the password field and type your password as usual.

    Step 4

Case of failure of step 3, the boot volume can be complete. If you saw previously implemented guard space drive is low, it is certainly the case. You might be able to start in safe mode , even if you cannot boot normally. Otherwise, boot from an external hard drive, or well technology for step 1b, 1 c or 1 d allows to mount the internal drive and delete some files. According to the documentation from Apple, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the boot (as shown in the Infolog) for normal operation volume.

    Step 5

If a Mac desktop (without the built-in keyboard) crashes on a gray screen together with a mobile cursor, the keyboard may not be recognized. Hold down the button on the side of a wireless Apple keyboard to make it discoverable. If need be, replace or recharge the batteries. If you use a USB keyboard connected to a hub, connect it to a built-in port.

    Step 6

Sometimes, a startup failure can be solved by resetting the NVRAM.

    Step 7

If there is an integrated optical drive, a disk may be stuck in there. Follow these instructions to remove it.

    Step 8

Press and hold the power button until the unit turns off. Disconnect all devices wired except those needed to start and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Use another keyboard and/or mouse, if these devices are wired. If you can start now, one of the devices that you disconnected, or a combination of both, the origin of the problem. Discover that it is a process of elimination.

    Step 9

Launch the utility disk in recovery mode (see step 1). Select the boot volume, and then run the repair disk. If problems are found, repeat until that clear. If disk utility reports that the volume is not repairable, the drive is defective and must be replaced. You can choose to tolerate such malfunction in the reader's life. In this case, delete the volume and restore it from a backup. If the same thing happens again, replace the drive immediately.

It is one of the rare situations where you must also run repair permissions, ignoring the erroneous warnings, that it can produce. Look for the line "Permissions repair complete" at the end of the output. Then restart as usual.

    Step 10

If the boot device is an aftermarket SSD, it may have an update and/or a forced "garbage collection". Instructions how to do this with a Crucial SSD of brand have been posted here. Some of these instructions may apply to other brands of SSDS, but you should check with the technical support of the provider.

    Step 11

Reinstall the OS. If the Mac has upgraded an earlier version of Mac OS X, you need the Apple ID and password used to upgrade.

    Step 12

Do as in step 11, but this time clear the disk utility boot volume before installing. The system should restart automatically in the installation wizard. Follow the prompts to transfer data from one Time Machine or another backup.

    Step 13

This step applies only to models that have a battery logic-board ("PRAM"): all of the Mac Pro, MacBook with a removable main battery and a few others (models not updated). A flat battery logic-board may cause a boot failure. In general the failure will be preceded by the loss of the system and boot disk clock settings. Refer to the user manual for replacement instructions. You may need to take the machine to a provider of services to have to replace the battery.

    Step 14

If you get this far, you probably deal a hardware failure. An appointment of 'Genius' to an Apple Store, or select another authorized service provider.

  • Windows cannot start the service windows firewall

    Hello

The answer depends on what you have anti-virus security.

If you have, for example, Norton Internet Security protects your computer, it is using Firewall from Norton.

If you have 2 firewall of exploitation, which can cause system hangs, slow, etc.

What Antivirus do you use for computer security?

If you don't have a Suite of Internet security, protect your computer, scan for Malware:

Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware, if necessary in Mode safe mode with networking:

  • I installed a trial of Illustrator from Adobe on my macbook pro. I want to draw a picture using the custom trace button but can not. Does anyone have any ideas how I could track custom?

I installed a trial of Illustrator from Adobe on my macbook pro. This is the release of 2014 of the adobe Illustrator. I want to draw a picture using the custom trace button.

I start a new document. Then I place my scanned pencil/color pencil, drawing, in the document. I tried to scan and then placing it as jpeg, bitmap and a tiff file. I tried scanning and place then, in color and in black and white. The scan mode that I use is flat. Adobe Illustrator allows me to select the default button and one of the eleven preset buttons (e.g. photo high fidelity), but cannot me click on the record button custom. The custom trace button is gray while all other buttons are white.

Does anyone have any ideas how I could track custom?

Just it trace, and then change the options later. The follow-up is 'live', you can press the buttons and see what happens.

  • El Capitan woes. Safe mode, test hardware will not work. Restart the loop, kernal panic. Any sugguestions?

I have a MacBook Pro 13 "2011 start. He had some OS X Lion when buying.

Two years later I upgraded to OSX Mavericks.

Less than a week ago, I did an installation CLEAN of El Capitan. Wiped my HD and installed in El Capitan.
I did it with a bootable USB key. The installation went well. Throughout these years, I have drive repair/check, repair disk permissions when necessary. I have a 500 gb HDD installed, and I kept it about 200 GB of free most of the time. Before and after the installation of the El Capitan, disk utility has repeatedly demonstrated the hard drive in good condition.

Last night, I wake my computer from sleep mode, it seemed to be frozen.

Some applications still running - Google Chrome, VLC.

Mouse still worked. Any click of mouse or track to effect not anything on the screen.

I pressed Command-Option-Esc force quit and stop chrome by there for.

Then I rebooted, went to the screen toolbar and progress apple, but then hung on a blank grey screen for about 7 minutes.

I stopped him. I disconnected all devices.

I restarted now down option, same result

I restarted now pressed D, same result.

I have reset the NVRAM and MSC with the same result.

I restarted again and realized account of the progress bar was actually progressing just at an incredibly slow pace. So, I waited, and finally made it back to the login screen. IM speaking 20 minutes more.

Once I finally got on the desktop - I did another disk check and he said everything was fine with my hard drive.

I checked the activity monitor and shows nothing cluttering of CPU or memory.

I emptied the login items (System Preferences > users and accounts > login items) that could be the cause of it.

I would like to have checked permissions of the drive although I doubt it would have helped, but it seems that El Capitan does not provide this feature in disk utility more?

I then tried the same thing - restart + hold down D to see if I could launch a kind of diagnosis, something! It remains just started up new connection, but it bit more quickly this time.

I thought I was clear, but after reboot once more he would go in apple logo/progress bar and then show a weird code on top and then directly to the message ' your computer restarted because of a problem, press any key or wait to continue to '... etc. in various languages. The computer begins to restart once again to do the same.

I turned it off then reset the PRAM, SMC again.

I rebooted into recovery mode to check my HARD drive. Well, now for the first time, he tells me theres something wrong with my drive and cannot be resolved. I find it so weird because it worked very well on the Mavericks and Lion for years. I have never had problems - start the system or hard drive related.

Well it finally helped me get to Apple Hardware Test. Click on "test" and everything seemed to go well up to the mark of 2 min 0 s, thin progress bar froze, trackpad would work, but the mouse would be insensitive by seconds. IM guess that it is a hardware or a disk hard question then? Player's fault? Do not know how to install El Capitan would casue those things...

If I get a new drive and start all over again, I'll be able to reinstall my programs purchased in the app store? The only thing I have right now is Logic Pro. On a PC right now and not can't find anyway to see my purchase history. Checked apple.com and shows no purchase for 90 days, so I guess I need to check through to iTunes or the mac app store for really?

Thanks for reading and any help is greatly appreciated.

App store apps are linked to your Apple ID.  Change the HARD drive will not affect your ability to access these applications.

It sounds that a new HARD disk is in order.

    Ciao.

    System:

    Toshiba Satellite A-75

    WIndows XP Home Edition
Fully updated with Svc Pk 3
HITACHI Travelstar hard drive 80 gig

    History:

When the first blue screen hit a week ago, I immediately rebooted in safe mode (windows always loaded then) and conducted an audit by virus with AVG. Then, I updated my Zone Alarm Firewall to the latest version and restarted. There was no sign of the problems that were to come. The next day, I did a little research to see that this error 0 x 00000024 indicates a corrupted registry or the NTFS loader file, among other things. Recommendations included disabling antivirus and programs bad-ware like Ad-Aware, or recently installed programs whose drivers may be at fault. I proceeded to the services.msc and disabled ZoneAlarm both AdAware, then restart. Windows has not been loaded since then this stop only error message I get now.

I did a test of surface of disc with a utility of the UBCD and negative (found no errors) so I guess that the disk is physically very well. Also, re-installed memory that shows no sign of physical goods or damage.

The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite and the folks at Toshiba have no respect for my data. They continue with option 1... Re-install windows. I'm not surprised that in the past they have never really been useful and stood by their products, that's why all the customer complaints.

First of all I need a program utility loader initialization that will allow me to run chkdsk as diagnostic utilities. Please offer your expertise in this area.

First, start in the XP Recovery Console and running a chkdsk/r.

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (This includes the plug pulling, buttons power and removing the battery).

These can cause corruption in the file system that must be fixed before you do anything else.

If none of these events occurred (or even if they have not taken place), you must verify the integrity of your file system before anything else (especially "try" things).

There is zero logic to begin to try to begin to try to modify or copy files to a hard drive that has a corrupted file system, so this must first be fixed using the XP chkdsk program and run chkdsk on your hard drives may solve your problem completely.

Use the XP Recovery Console to check the file system on your HARD drive and fix the problems and then try to start your system - this may be all you need to do.  Or, you are welcome to just start trying things that might work.

Boot into the Recovery Console Windows using an XP bootable installation CD.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.
