starting cold on hp Pavilion a1737c (resolved)

I have a problem with the hp Pavilion a1737c computer and it it cold boots for some reason, the side fan that lights is colder than usual and is also stronger as usual, when I plug the cord each time light led goes off for 1 second then turn it, this computer had a history of loading in windows as the freeze at the loading screen then restart like 30 times to get it back , but that all changed after I updated, now it has just a few problems like display disk error reading, just freeze after startup, Frost during the loading screen and also gel just after the loading screen but not fully loaded in windows vista, the last time I remember the computer will almost the last time it worked which was yesterday which must relate to boots cold because I read the forums of others has been slow and it seems apparent, I don't know exactly what causes the computer to start cold, fans will work perfectly, the hard drive is a seagate and it does not load at startup cold, there is no power of some components such as connector of the monitor and keyboard, mouse, hard drive or anything in the front without counting as the cdroms what you type on the cpu I'm not touching because I know it is amd and it is very fragile, I think it might have to do with power past in sleep mode because I had the power setting max savings in the Panel and he kept gel recently, I managed to start cold not after taking the battery out of its place and then replace for a lil While but then when it happened once again somehow it remained this way and is always like that now, I need help please someone help me to make the computer to load up again and make sure that's not cold start, please someone give me suggestions and solutions in etc etc you can because I need to fix it somehow the computer has 3 GB of ram, integrated video card no beed detector, a modem card used for phone, a seagate hard drive etc etc please send aid as soon as possible!

This has now been resolved by me, the motherboard was at fault and I had to replace it, but now, everything else works fine, also a computer scan revealed that the cpu fan is running out of oil and that it now needs to be replaced.

    Hello

Disconnect all USB devices except the keyboard and mouse.  Don't forget that the CD drive is empty.

Try to clear the CMOS memory.

Looks like your PC is trying to boot from LAN.  If this is the case then to clear the CMOS will change all the parameters of the bios to the default values.

  • HP recovery disks does not start in my HP Pavilion Dv7

I have a HP Pavilion dv7 that I have to wipe clean due to spyware. I bought the HP system recovery DVD and on them it says "to start, insert the disc into the optical drive of your computer and follow the on-screen instructions." Unfortunately, I insert the disc, and I get the info from the upcoming disc, but no instructions. I even tried to make the laptop run from the disk drive at first upward. When I did he asked me to create system recovery discs. I didn't need to make them, I have them from HP. Just frustrated about why the HP drive are not following the instructions.

Here is a picture of the screen I get when the disc is inserted:

I really hope that someone can help me that I've been waiting to do this for weeks, since I had to wait for discs.

    Thank you

    KC

You are the very welcome, KC.

If you can not boot from the DVD, it may indeed be a bad disk.

Also, make sure that you have disk 1 in the first to start from.

And Yes, you should get a very brief message to hit any key to boot from the CD, then watch carefully for it.

If you miss it must start over and restart the PC.

  • Unable to start cold the Windows XP computer

Original title: computer starts not cold.
Cold, after that turn off for a while, the computer doen't start when turned on, have to light several times so he can start the boot process. Fan comes on, but it doesn't progress thruogh the start-up. Once it starts to initialize it continues through the correct process.  Once executed, if you do a restart it restarts fine.

    Hello

Try this document: reduce the heat inside the PC to prevent overheat. Event if it can not be overheating (and yes it can heat many a boot cold, I currently have this problem with my office just to cheap to repair). But the document will guide you through the 'cleansing' of the Interior, specifically the fan and vents.

Also, I would recommend swapping the ram. Try again with a single, switch and change the slots upwards. The maintenance and Service guide can help you with this if necessary.

I would like to know how this happens.

  • Custom color calibration lost with UAC, lock, sleep, start cold

I own a Spyder2Pro color correction device.  I used the camera for years on several systems.  I have a desktop 64-bit Win7 Ultimate that I used the calibrator on without any problem.  When I calibrate my Dell Latitiude E5410 colour becomes bluish and nasty with the accurate hot color display, I need.  Any time UAC appears my color correction back to the nasty original (very noticeable difference).  Any time I lock the computer and back he did the same thing.  I get the result even if it goes to sleep or I do a cold start.  I contacted color data and they have no problems reported with windows 7 on the device.  Thoughts?  Is dell puts some kind of color management in the laptop that replaces the windows control?  Thinking I could do a clean install this weekend to give a test drive.

  • Unstable AE after rendering, have to start cold computer because the system becomes unstable. Help please!

    Hello world.

I have a laptop Intel i7 Toshiba Qosmio with 12 GB of RAM, a 3 GB Nvidia graphics card.  Two 750 GB HARD drives.  Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition.

I had to convert a video (in AE) of my camcorder Sony QuickTime then moka he could follow.  The file size was 12 GB.  I motion tracking with Mocha video 3000 frames have been followed.  I have completed my project and when I go to make it takes about 15 or more minutes to return, but after the rendering of the entire system is completely unstable and requires a cold start.  It makes the video fine, but the computer is unstable.

I was looking at the use of the RAM then that rendered and he used only about 15% of the 9 GB allocated for AE.

    AE CS6 version 11.0.4

Can someone help me with this?  I uninstalled AE and reinstalled and there are always the same.  I have a small project, no less important than a case and it preformed fine. No problems.

Is the size of the files of great for AE?  Could the movement followed with Mocha be a factor in the stability of EI?

No idea which continues, please help me.

    Thank you.

I think I solved it.  I created the new exact replica of my project that makes the computer unstable.  I made it another 2 times, it takes 3 minutes and the computer is 100% stable.

So I think that the old project was corrupt or something because the new double that works perfectly.

So I call it answered.  Thanks for all help, much appreciated.

  • What programs do you need to run it when starting a desktop HP Pavilion Windows Vista-based computer?

I have several programs running on my start up and am not sure that is necessary and which are not.  I got a slow computer and the performance isn't there as if it was once.  I have recently removed spyware from my computer and wonder if some of these programs may also be the same.  When you run the start up programs are:
Persistence Module, igfx hkcmd Module, (default), hpwsSchd Application, Kbd Stub & hpsysdrv Module of the drawer.  If you have any suggestions or know of these programs that can affect the performance of my office please answer this and give me your feedback.  Thanks in advance

You need very little running at startup for any computer and what * you * must will be different from what someone else * needs *.

Go through the list of things that you have running at the start of the system/user log in using "AutoRuns" and then configure (or remove if you wish) applications you don't want start up accordingly using their own settings (preferable) or seeing their request to start location (registry (, startup folder, etc.) and remove it (last resort) or - if you don't need the app start / all - to remove it through programs and features.

    Since you mentioned the spyware...

Download, install, update and perform complete system analysis with:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

These two things will help, somewhat, by ensuring that you don't have anything left behind actively running (or in some cases, sitting idle waiting to be triggered.)

  • Often, when I let my computer go "standby mode" I will return and the mouse pointer disappeared. I have to start cold to get it back. Any ideas?

Happening all the time, just enough to make it boring. The computer is only a little over a year old so I think that some of the software is corrupted. Of course, I don't know much about computers, but I don't know that I don't want to shell out money for a fixable problem. Thank you to each and every one.

  • HP Pavilion HPE h9 - 1120-t Phoenix - PC suddenly starts turning Off after a few Minutes of use

Posted this on the Forum for questions of another office before I reduced the problem.  No one answered:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/other-desktop-PC-questions/HP-Pavilion-HPE-H9-1120t-Phoenix-PC-suddenly...

Announcing this computer from July 2012 and not even a hiccup.  4 days, the computer suddenly began turn power off. It doesn't stop, it turns off, the plug was pulled. When I reboot I get the message of abnormal termination of Windows.   There is no warning at all.  No message as the computer is overheating.  He comes to occur when the computer is idle without programs will open.

When it stops, the power supply unit light goes out for a minute then comes back on the 'green' and the computer can be restarted.

I unplugged the power cord and relugged and it seems fine.

The computer is aware of the updates of Windows and can be stopped normally.

I removed the cover and clean the dust and confirmed all fans are running properly.  I left the lid off the coast, and the computer stops again.

I must add that when the computer is started 'cold' it runs about 15 minutes.  If you restart after it just closed, you have maybe 3-5 minutes of use.

Why did you think it was overheating.

    Any ideas?  Thank you.

  • Satellite Pro L10 not cold start

I have a Pro Satllite L10. When it is completely shut down, the system does not always start. If it is tostand by, then it seems restert without a problem, but starting cold is something blindly. It seems that it will often start if you press the power button once, then leave the unit for a few minutes and then try again, but which could be lucky and have no real meaning.

I downloaded the recent bios updates but this has not at all affected

    Hello

Is it happens when the laptop works only with the battery or is connected to the adapter?

It is really hard to say what might be wrong or why it's happening.
I can only speculate on the dysfunction that maybe there is a problem with the electronic power supply on the motherboard.
