• Start-up and white screen issue after updating to v10.11.5?

  I can't say 100% that my problems are related to the last update, but I thought I'd ask.

  I've updated about 4 or 5 days ago, and although the questions did not begin immediately, they start after the update. It should be noted that I have never had issues like this before.

  Here are some of my questions on my MacBook Pro (17 inch, early 2011), 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB at 1333 MHz DDR3, Intel HD 3000 512 MB graphics card

  1. the monitor will sometimes go haywire and a strange split, screen where the mouse can go to the left side of the screen and reappear on the right side of the screen, because the office is now split into two

  Now I'm starting to think my problems are related to a single user, sign in. Only 2 people use the computer and my connection seems to be fine. No crashes or anything like that.

  The problems start when my wife logs in to his user account.

You can Reset the BIOS with this document by selecting the reload the default BIOS settings. Helping others it restores the default settings.

• Media Center Live TV shows a white screen after 30 seconds

  I use Media Center to watch live TV.  It works very well for the first 30 to 40 seconds and then the screen becomes white and then I can hear the sound, but nothing appears on the screen.  The controls still work, I move my mouse to the upper right of the screen to close the Media Center.

  Only, this started happening recently, but I'm not aware of any change on my system which may have contributed to this.

  What can I do?

  next step is to roll back the video driver in Control Panel. If this does not work

  Make sure that Firefox is not set to run as administrator.

  Right click on the desktop Firefox shortcut and choose "Properties".

  Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.

  • Privilege level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
  • "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" must not be selected

  Also check the firefox.exe program properties in the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) folder.

  I recently had internet service for the first time in two years. Over the two years, I took my desktop computer 4 times for a friend and got the updates that were available for AVG, HP, Windows XP, Adobe, Java, Open Office. • After 7.0.1 Upgrade - html5 AICC module no longer - white screen

  I have a published course previously built and ran in HTML5 with AICC to connect with the LMS.

  Performance on an iPAD was far from perfect... but at least it ran.

  I tried in vain do the module under 7.0.1 test to assess what are the improvements to the deployment of iPAD/html5.

  The first hurdle was able to build the module... but this has been addressed in another thread http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1341091

  The ONLY change I made to this module between 7.0 and 7.0.1 is to adjust the parameters of quality of publication at high HEAT (as recommended in the other thread as a work-around).

  The version of the module will download on SCORM cloud and run.

  The newly published (7.0.1) version is not running on cloud SCORM.

  I get a black screen without the arrow to click on start the module.

  I edited the index.html file to activate the debug window. Displays the window, but has no content that is written in it.

  To the eye the 7.0. and 7.0.1 files index.hrml they have significant differences.

  It's beyond me to guess what was changesd ceased to HTML5 / AICC projects running.

  (BTW, I'm delivberately audit of the SCORM cloud module because she not all cross-domain AICC issues).

  For me, the 7.0.1 update was a disaster and I might uninstall (is this possible?) to publish to my client.

  2. click on AutoPlay.

  

  3 publish again the course and an overview.

• Satellite L300D starts in a white screen with the mouse cursor

  Asked by my friends to help them solve their L300D. Their son had him and they are not sure of what he did, but now when it loads in VIsta, all they get is a black screen with a cursor of mouse in the middle. The slider looks as if it was a less than normal display resolution.

  I thought that this would be easily fixed by running a restore, but it did the same thing when I load restore (via the holding company 0 at startup) and even the copy of Windows 7, I tried to install as well.

  I think it might be a hardware problem, but before bringing them to contact Toshiba Service for warranty repair, I thought I could post it here and see if anyone has suggestions on what it could be.

  Hey good buddy, if the same question is displayed if you load the function of food and also with Windows 7 I think that it s a hardware problem.
  You can try to load the BIOS default settings maybe it works.

  To be honest, I think the best way is, you contact the nearest authorized service provider. Technicians can check the mobile and Exchange material, if there is a hardware problem.

• How can I get rid of a white screen is displayed for 3 seconds at startup

  Since my last update of Thunderbird to 31.3 I get a white screen for 3 seconds when starting and until I see my files.
  I use Thunderbird to access Yahoo.co.uk and 2 accounts Outlook.com .

  I have an extension, CompactHeader 2.0.9, which I removed, but the problem remains. I have now reinstalled.

  OK - I tried to disable addons and themes, I've also uninstalled and reinstalled without addons or themes.

  However - Thunderbird just did an update and the problem seems to be resolved!

  Due to Toshiba power button on document - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/FAQ3500560002R01.htm - should have the double function.
  Unplug the power plug and press and hold the power button / stop. I think the laptop must be turned off after a few seconds.

  Are you able to turn off your laptop somehow?
  Can you please elaborate on this subject? Since when did you notice this?
  Have you done something before your laptop started acting in this way?

• Pavilion H8 - 1240t starts with a blank screen!

  From time to time my old Pavilion of 2 years with an AMD Radeon 7070 graphics card will start at a white screen and will continue to restart over and over again until I have pull the plug. Apart from that, a mess the PC works fine!

  How I managed to do it starting right now has been by reinstalling the video card and removing the battery on the motherboard for a few seconds. Is this common? What exactly is causing this problem?  HP Tech offers no answers whenever I call them?

  My laptop started to have problems after going sleep mode hibernation recently. I run a Dell Vostro under Vista 32 bit. My big problem is that I can't test one of the solutions I found on the internet so far because even with a forced shutdown the laptop never start back. White screen. Nothing is ever displayed.
  Last time I went out that holding the key FN holding power. Then released. The screen came blue and memory tests and drive hard started. I let it run and no problem was found on the hardware side. After the tests were performed, the computer restarts and I press F8 to boot into safe mode. Everything went well for a week after this episode. I tried the "sleep mode" once again and it was as if nothing ever happens. Everything worked well.
  And now, it's happening once again. This time, the combination FN-power supply does not work. Nothing appears on the screen ever. The power button not blink or change color. The hard drive light turns on for 3 seconds only when I try to start. Then it's screen white and everything that I hear the laptop fan...
  Any idea of someone from the combination of keys to force start the laptop into a kind of safe mode?

  So it seems that I have to respond to me :) Just in case someone goes nuts facing the same issue, find multiple options on the web 2007 update you this, change the configuration that say, start in SafeMode etc., here is what I found to get out of the black screen after a watch on my laptop. I hope this might help someone else:

  1. Open the housing by unscrewing all to access the battery (not easy, go slowly and carefully do not damage the fragile covers). I hope that your battery is more accessible than mine.
  2. Disconnect the battery cable (if you have my laptop Dell Vostro: first - raise the head end of the connector so you can exit the orange cable gently)
  3. At this point, the rear of the laptop is completely "naked".
  4. Unplug the power cable
  5. Press and hold the power button to laptop for 30 sec.
  6. Plug the power cable back (battery is always not connected)
  7. Press the FN key + power button for 1 second and release them both at the same time
  8. The DELL logo is displayed, and finally the screen is not black more! I need the pre-boot system assessment tests. I hope that you will have this screen also. I suggest that you run the tests. In my case, nothing was wrong with the hardware. This is a Windows problem.

  After this step, I was able to start in safe mode and play with the features of windows. Since I'm a busy mom and small business owner, I don't have time to assess what is wrong or even think to completely replace Windows on an old computer laptop 1 year part-time, so far. So I just canceled the sleep function for now.

• Satellite M70-340 - white screen before windows loads

  I have istalled a new Windows XP on my laptop Satellite M70-340, and after having installed the drivers and the Quick Fix Engineering I restart the laptop...

  The laptop is the auto start and it stopped just before starting the loading (white screen and no disc HARD answer stopped - HDD led lighting-)
  I am able to get into the BIOS and change the boot order.

  I boot from the recovery cd, but it is is stopped with the same blank screen just before his screen should start.
  I boot from the Windows cd, but it is is stopped with the same blank screen just before the blue screen should start.

  I unplugged the battery and pluged in again and the problem continues to be.
  I have restored the defaults in the Bios, but it didn't work.

  I searched this forum for the same problem on M70 but I found nothing didn t.

  But I do remember that one of my friends had a similar question. If the adapter has been unplugged the system locked and the screen is dark.
  It has fixed in powerplay disable in the ATI graphics settings and it didn't put the CPU low speed in Toshiba Power saver mode fixed.

  But like I said this happened only together running the operating system without the AC adapter.
