  Follow these methods.

  I have a Dell Studio 1535 laptop which is about 1.75 years. It came with (& I always use) Windows Vista Home Premium. As soon as tension after the first, in which the F keys appear briefly in the upper right corner a black screen screen & in the upper left corner, there are blinking underscore. So that the computer to finish loading, I have to press on enter & manually select my operating system. After loading office/Startup computer normal is displayed. However, the tab help and Support Windows automatically opens & can not be closed before reopening. Also, I rarely use Internet Explorer but choose to use Google Chrome & Mozilla Firefox also. Sometimes, but not always, after connecting to the internet from hundreds of particular web browser help pages load at a time. I can only close out of the browser by pressing Alt + F4. Thanks to anyone who can offer any help, it will be greatly appreciated.

• Help every time I download Service Pack 3 for XP I have to System Restore my computer because I can't start windows normally. Can someone help me solve this problem?

  I have an Emachine, which is about three years old. We take good care of it, look at what we download and perform analyses of virus frequently a week. But for the last two or three weeks every time we start our computer, it takes a few times before he can actually get into Windows because it maintains power off.   I was wondering if you can help me. I have an Equium L20 - 197, windows xp home edition. (Also technically challenged!  :)) When I booted my computer laptop first time today, I received this message-

  «We are sorry for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully upward...» »

  Unfortunately, if you can start Windows t in any of these modes you have only one option and that is reinstall Windows. I mean you should do? You can do anything in this case

  As you wrote wipes disc, the whole HARD disc Toshiba Recovery and that's right because it of needed to recover to factory settings. But normally you should have a backup of your data or not?
  If this isn't the case, you can access the data, if you put the HARD drive into an external HARD drive enclosure. From another computer, you now have access to these data.

  By the way: for Toshiba recovery disc you n t need a product key. Everything is already done in the recovery image and no activation is necessary. :)

  And why do you think the hard drive is faulty?
  Have you ever tried the repair your computer option? Usually with this option you can restore factory in a few minutes.

  Also if you have the Toshiba recovery disc you can also restore the factory of this disc. Just boot from it and follow the instructions on the screen. You need to do a few clicks only, installation with all the drivers and tools happen automatically.

• Satellite C650-1CP - cannot start Windows

  My C650, running on Windows 7 could not start properly today. When turn on/off he went to the Windows Error Recovery screen and gave me two options: run a startup repair and start Windows normally.   Bluescreens are mainly problems of software or drivers so I think that reinstalling Windows would help to get rid of this.

  Why you don t have a Toshiba Recovery disk? I mean in the user manual it clearly written that you have create such a floppy yourself and it only takes a few minutes and you need to blank DVDs. All that s.

  The recovery disk contains an image of the settings from the factory with all the drivers and tools. It is an image pre-tested by Toshiba so everything will work after the installation of recovery. With this record, you are on the safe side.
