  • Ntoskrnl driver Power State failure BSOD window 8.1

Recently I started having this error regularly, my laptop wakes up fashion 'sleep' (whenever I open it).
The system hangs, and in a few minutes the BSOD appears. It takes time to collect data and restart and it turns very slow after that. Unfortunately, I can't parse mindump files correctly, I see that the problem is related to the pilot of ntoskrnl, but if I understand it is not very informative.
Could someone please take a look at my dump files? Or you could advise me on how to read files from dump for more information? Here's my dump file:

  • Driver power state failure BSOD out of mode ensures

    Hey there,

So, every time I take my laptop out of fashion 'sleep', it crashes and gives me a BSOD with the message DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE.  In addition, it takes 10 times the amount of time it takes to start up again later.  This problem started to happen a few months ago and I just accepted that I was not using my laptop all that often, but now since I'm going back to school, I'll use it more so I really want to get this problem fixed because it is really annoying.  I even tried to reset to factory settings in a desperate attempt to fix, but the problem persists.  You guys could help me understand what I need to do?

  • W3 - 810 driver Power State failure error (BSOD)

I have a W3-810 Iconia I've upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. During a recent update to the 2016 office, I had a blue screen and an error message that a failure of State driver had taken place and the computer needed to restart. After a few moments, the computer restarted and I was able to complete the installation of Office 2016. I remember getting this error during upgrade to Windows 10. Recently, while watching a YouTube video, the Tablet locked up and I got the blue screen again, with the same "Driver Power State Failure" error again. I check the Device Manager and noticed that in the "system devices" all of the "Intel platform dynamics and thermal framework (DPTF)" associates pilots had yellow flags indicating that the drivers did not work properly. When I tried to update the drivers I get a message that the latest drivers are installed.

Someone at - it recommendations to solve this problem? Should I uninstalled all the drivers DPTF and reinstall? Thank you.

Update: I drove all DPTF drivers in back to version 6.2.9200.30457 Device Manager and then restarted the computer. I tested the computer to see if I could cause a BSOD pilot State failure occurred earlier today and it does not happen again. I hope that this solves the problem. Thank you.

  • BSOD pilot State failure

    Hi all

I get BSOD intermittently showing driver power state failure in all cases that I see.  I have a HP tx2000z, 2 GB, running Vista Ultimate.  I know of minidumps, but don't know how to look at them, or seen what I'm looking for.  Tried to do it in Windbg, but as I recall he said that I didn't leave after flashing a command prompt window very quickly.  Also tried to roll back as soon as possible, no luck.  No new installs of hardware.  May began after update to the last large windows.  It's something that I can probably fix it, or I'd be wise just to buy a new computer at low prices?  Y there is it possible just to install a windows 7 can actually solve the problem?  Someone at - it suggestions?

Sorry if this isn't in the right place, please inform if not.

Thanking you in advance for helping me fix my computer with aplomb, or dish being honest enough to tell me there is really no way to ever find what is actually wrong with it, unless I have spend most of my life in the effort.

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

It says error you found a driver that is not normally compatible with Vista, however, that the error only occurs when the computer enters standby or hibernation or wake up from standby or hibernation.

You have the external devices connected to the USB or Firewire ports?  If so, disconnect one at a time and see if the problem goes away.  If Yes, then you have found the culprit.

Try using the selective startup for troubleshooting method to see if you can identify the driver that could be the cause of the error:

Then ZIP or RAR the actuall minidump files and download them on SkyDrive and post a link here for us

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

This "might" be a power problem, even if this isn't the most common cause - in this case
It seems that the PSU could be the fault.

9F is probably a driver issue. Security/antivirus/antispware programs can also cause these issues.
Have you added the recent devices or the updated drivers - don't forget to check in the Windows updates to see
If a driver has been updated before this happen. This can also be caused by a loose card or cable
and even a weak power supply.

This error means that a driver does not properly support the power state. Check in Control Panel - device
Manager to ensure that the drivers are not stop during sleep - double-click adapter - NETWORK adapter
and WIFI - healthy and others - tab power management - uncheck allow the computer to turn off.
Maybe the only has a problem.

Start - type in the search - find MSCONFIG in top - right, click on – RUN AS ADMIN

General tab - tick this box start Diagnostic - APPLY / OK - REBOOT

Try it now. If the computer still blue screens thinks that video driver. Otherwise think the card NETWORK, Wifi, sound, or...
(and it might still be video interacts with something else). See following message for my
    generic driver update methods.

  • Driver power state failure Acer V3 571 G

    Hello!

I use my Acer V3 for more than six months, and recently my computer started to plant several times gives me error: State failure driver. I read it's an incompatible driver in the cause, but I'm not sure. Sometimes when I watch YouTube videos, 360 p (my internet is slow). The video stops and then the cursor stops responding while the sound of the video continues. Shortly after, I find myself on a BSOD. How can I fix?

What is your GPU and what version of your drivers. If you have updated your drivers when it started to happen probably you need to get them off.

  • Power driver - 8 victory State failure

I bought a Lenova Ideapad a few months ago and have recently been using it more regularly. All of a sudden I'm getting blue screened when he returns to mode 'sleep' and get the error message "driver power state failure." and it takes forever to do restart and operation. I have just installed new software on this computer at this point, except for a flash, and PDF Creator is certainly not likely to be what is running at this point. Very frustrating that a voluntarily bought this machine because of his thought of SSD I was getting something reliable that could start quickly.
