  I hope someone might be able to help me understand how I am best at what a "assets/down" State and a "visited" .

  I have a screen with a number of buttons - when the learner clicks on a button, they appear different information (easily click reveal sort of interaction) can I do now with the functionality of the State multi 9 Captivate object.

  But can I use "States" to show that they have visited a button.

  The scenario is as follows:

  
  Screen has 10 buttons.

  By example, Normal (not yet visited) - button is blue.

  Active/low (learner has selected the button)-button is purple.

  Visited - button is green.

  Sorry, but Lisa doesn't quite ask on built-in States (Normal, Rollover, Down)! Read each question carefully, please.

  She questioned an integrated State and a State of 'Clicked', which is NOT at all.

  @Lisa the easiest way is to States. I use above all form buttons, because they are much more flexible than the old types of buttons. You see in this Panel of State of the object, I've changed the text on them and rolling to the bottom of the State, which is impossible for the transparent buttons and text and for text image buttons must be in the image, which means that whenever you want to change the text, you must re-create the three images. Not very friendly, because it must still occur in another program.

  

  You see that on top of the InBuilt three States I created a custom state "Clicked". Do not confuse this Panel: the button has the same size as in the integrated States, but the thumbnails have a fixed size, where the last State of the scene shows that three States integrated.

  If you want the State Down to be the same as the clicked State, you can do it as well, but I wanted to show that it's a different State. With this configuration, you can have the Clicked State, replacing the Normal State (attention: the flyover States and down will remain the same) after clicking on the button with this workflow:

  • Create a tip or shared action standard (in this article, I used shared actions: 1 share = 5 buttons toggle - Captivate blog )
  • Add the command "change the State of MyShapeButton, Clicked
  • Put the command you want to be executed by this button (like the jump to slide X)

  If you navigate away from this slide, the "Clicked" State is only kept in 9.0.1.320 - not in the previous version - if you check the option "Maintain state on the overview of the slide" which you will see in the upper part of the properties of the button panel.

  I would like to know if that's what you're looking for? If you want to have the rollover state change, you will need two buttons and will have to replace the first box of the other which shows all States in a version Clicked.

• Text is pixelated when multiple States of objects using

  I have a background image and three text boxes with buttons that I want to turn into States of objects so you can type in either sense between them.

  See picture attached to the workspace.

  Text boxes include a transparent layer, so you can see some of the background image.

  

  All text is pixelated, once I build the folio.

  It seems that the transparent layer is causing the problem, so don't know what the parameters that should be.

  I tried the effects > transparency > filling and Effects > transparency > object and it does not seem to make a difference.

  Any solutions or suggestions?

• Hyperlink in the cell of a table in object state multi does not work

  We have an app (DOS2015), which includes a gallery (with the status of multiple object) and on two of the pages State tables there.

  In certain cells in these tables are texts with hyperlinks. And all these hyperlinks do not work in dps 2015.

  (They do not work also in the folio Viewer. But they work if I copy the table into the object status multi on a normal page.

  It is by design or is it a trick?

  Hyperlinks in tables are not supported in DPS. I'm not aware of a trick or workaround.

• Object state Multi pixelated when adding button to change the State of EPS.

  I have a multi state object consists of a couple of eps files. They make very well on the iPad and you can zoom in on them and they stay sharp.

  The problem I have is when I add a button that when clicked/tapped changes the DSO to the next State, it causes the eps be raster/bitmap when you zoom in above.

  Is he here to add a button while retaining the DSO as vector objects remain strong when zoomed in?

  any workflow. Open them in Illustrator and re-save AS. Link back to the

• How to export a multi-state scroll object into an interactive PDF?

  I am trying to create an interactive PDF that has a screen mac with scrolling of web pages. Currently I have a blocked image in the background of the mac and object multistate on top of this acting like the screen, each State being a framework to scroll vertically with an image inside. This seems to work perfectly, when I saw, but wwhen I export it as an interactive PDF or an epub that all or part of the functionality disappears. Please can someone help to understand why this is happening or point me in the direction of a related tutorial?

• Slide show with several States of objects

  

  I'm trying to create a slideshow using multiple images. What I want to do is to have some images turn after 2 seconds, others after 3 seconds and the other after 4 seconds to create a flow of a request with the small square images. I currently have each square as a multi state object and put some of them at 2, 3 and 4 seconds with the creator of overlay (automatic and melted reading are selected). However, when I see him in the content viewer, a single image is updated the next State.

  Is it not possible to have several slideshows in a single screen? A way around this would be to assign the whole group to an MSO, set it for every 1 or 2 seconds and let some images as an additional State if I want to run an extra second or two after the other?

  I currently have a ViewObject born of the three entity objects. Object as a single entity is updatable in this VO: the one where I want to insert a line.

  In essence, I created a method in the ApplicationModuleImpl which instantiates a VOImpl of opinion when I want to insert. Then I create a line, set attributes and insert the line in the VO. The AppModule method is then called in a bean, after graduating from the information in the view.

  I also want a delayed delivery: I want to be able to see the new line in connections that use this VO, but only commit to a precise moment in time.

  Can someone tell me how to do this; c is there any special care, that I should have? How can I set attributes of CF? Should I prepend the name of the table when you specify the attribute?

  So even if the data are not validated you want to shown in the table. If the user submits the page then only it will be validated on the right?

• Positioning of the problems with State multi (9 Captivate) buttons

  Hey all,.

  I just tried to use a button with an additional State (the text will turn green when chapter is complete). When I change the position of the button it will jump around everytime I go on it with the mouse cursor. The problem is that I can't change the position of other States of the button, but it is clearly recorded independently. Looks like a bug to me.

  So I actually can not press at all more.

  Update:

  1. This only happens in a responsive project
  2. This problem affects each smartshape transformed into a button, not just those with an additional State.

  Just to finish this place for now:

  The issue seems to be the project file. Why this has happened, I can't say.

  Sonia has discovered and wrote in an e-mail we can resize the button jumping a little. Then the position is again in phase. After that even the new buttons show no more jumping behavior. Maybe it helps someone who has the same problem at one point.

  If someone finds out how this corruption of the project may occur, I would like to know about it.
