  In your VI help > find examples > tree, there are many examples for the tree operations. See these examples.

  See the example of the tree improvements that will show you how popup files or folders.

  In this example if you right click on the tree control there is a selection option in this default mode is 0 or 1 point.

  So you can choose only one item at a time.

  According to your requirement, you want to provide the user with a multiple selection, so change it to 1 or more items.

• What's in a .vin file?

  I noticed when you work with AWR project that there is a *.emp and *.vin files that have the same name as my project.  What is the .vin file?

  When you close a project, a .vin with the same name of stem from the record that the project file is created. The .vin file contains information that windows are open, including their size and their location. It also contains information about the State has collapsed and expanded the project tree. • b and characters appear when reading from a text file

  The image shown vi opens a text file from hard drive with ' Open/create/replace the file' and 'reading a spreadsheet file.

  Then the vi displays the text in the respective indicators.

  In these two indicators, there is a y and b that appear as the first characters.

  There's your problem: unicode.  You can see this quick phone: Config file "byte order mark"

  Yes, by saving in Unicode format, you have a few extra bytes that know most of the text editor to ignore.  But LabVIEW gives you just the raw data.

• Cannot open the WMV files.

  Just bought a new computer and when I try to download a file WMV, Internet Security explore comes up and asks me if I want to allow, click on allow and I get the message: Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  May not permissions to access you the item.

  When I click Details I get this message: name... Pack\MediaPlayerClassic\mpc-HC.exesource-MPC.HC@SourceForge

  I found a download for Media player classic, but when I tried to download my antivirus (Kaspersky) came with a warning that the file was not signed and that it was a potentially dangerous download if I did not.

  Would appreciate any help I could get on it.

  Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  May not permissions to access you the item.

  The question stem also from your security program such Kaspersky or a /Defender of Windows Firewall which can have parameters as to not not to perform certain tasks and does not download the file. I suggest you temporary disable antivirus and firewall and check the result again. You must activate new security that you was disabled programs.

• Cursor freezes when I right click on a file

  Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (with all latest updates)

  Whenever I right click a file (all), the cursor freezes with the waiting round circle: then I have to go to Task Manager and complete the task under applications to continue to work. To bring things back to normal, I have to restart, but after a while the cursor starts to work again. It is terribly annoying, because I very often work with the menu drop-down list by clicking index right files and regularly use the paste, cut, rename, and delete functions. This problem has happened recently. I have checked my virus from the system and nothing presented. I also realized all the maintenance tasks. I used Nirsoft ShellExView to disable/enable types "contex menu" for all software except those that relate to Microsoft and still have the problem.

  Third-party utilities can create problems of stability under Windows. If the deletion does not resolve the question, answer here.

• Trying to export audio stems PAL since an NTSC timeline...

  I have a documentary that must be delivered. Got the NTSC and PAL exports don't do, no problem. The question I have is of course the audio stems. If I just export them as .wav files, will it create different exports for PAL and NTSC? I guess it would be automatically for NTSC because what is the chronology, but how I match PAL would export?

  The audio is the same for both.  An export will do.

• Medium point charge when copy/move files

  I'm under vSphere, ESXi, the free version, on a HP ML350 G6. The host server has 10GB of memory, processor E5620 and SATA hard disks that are directly related. I run 6 virtual machines on this particular server - very low use of resources on them.

  My problem is that when I move or copy files large (2-4 GB), the average of the load of the particular virtual machine I work at spikes in the double digits. The virtual machine is running CentOS 5.5. For the VM swap file is located on a disk separate physics than the OS. One thing I noticed, is that the hypervisor can't determine whether or not the hardware acceleration is enabled for the storage controller (Smart Array P410i). It shows as "unknown" in the vSphere client. I'm sure that this option is enabled.

  Could someone send me in the right direction on how to fix this I/O please. If you need more information, let me know.

  I'm not sure the kind of hardware acceleration that André talks (VAAI) will help, even if you were to get the right storage array and vSphere license.  VAAI helps a lot for operations such as cloning VMs, creating new virtual hard disks and a few other things.  But the problem occurs when copying large amounts of files within the BONE, good guest?  If Yes, then VAAI won't make a difference.

  For what it's worth, I think that vSphere Essentials bundle is an absolutely steal to get a licensed vSphere product.  It of only $ 500 and includes licenses for up to three physical servers running ESX or ESXi, and it includes a copy of vCenter.  The copy of single vCenter is worth the price.

  It is possible that the copy of file takes up so much CPU resources that other processes are forced to wait.  How many VCPUs are assigned to the virtual machine?  Maybe try to assign another vCPU and see if that helps the issue.  Switch to another card pilot virtual NETWORK (such as the VMXNET 3 driver) can help reduce the CPU during large copies as well, but probably not a huge amount.  I'd like to see how the virtual machine works with 2 vCPUs.

• Extract Audio files

  How can I control where CC PP saves extracted audio files that I have edited with hearing?

  Currently they are stored with temporary files in the PP folder on my main drive. I want to be saved in the same location as the original file. It seems to me that this should be the default behavior. This has caused serious problems on several occasions. Thinking that I had copied all my media files on my laptop to work off-site, I discovered later that wanted me all the extracted audio files.

  Help for an answer to that, I searched but found nothing. I found several others via Google that were confused by this behavior, but no answers or solutions.

• File missing in the library list

  I've logged a lot of time with Lightroom from the beginning, but that me stem:

  I have iported 100-photo shoot from a SD card in LR, changing to DNG on the way.  Then, I selected 40 or more pictures in a quick Collection, treated them and posted on my web site.  Later, I tried the file I imported and was disasppeared of the long list of records under the correct drive in the left column of the library.

  100 photos are still in the same folder on my hard drive.  The 40 photos in the library as a named Collection, which is where I left their quick Collection after the treatment.  I tried to put the SD card into its slot and import it back but Lightroom says that the images are already in place.  Right click on the photos and verification of metadata in a library, show that the photos are all in the folder that does not appear in the folder on the left column.

  How can I get my account back?

  The first thing that comes to my mind: are the 100 pictures in a subfolder and its parent folder is not developed in the files Panel? If this is the case, click on the small triangle in front of the folder parent to decompress.

• Renaming of files image - LR does not accept previous zeros

  I finished editing the modules to develop & removed some extra photos in the stem during the editing process. I review and delete most of my unwanted images in advance, so please don't me on this Conference!

  Anyway, I went in the library module, all selected, & hit F2 batch rename images (DNG) in order. My problem is the following - LR does not accept previous zeros in the number box to start. I would like for the first image to have 3 digits - that is: 001. LR eliminates the zeros, resulting in a single digit '1' instead.

  Is there a solution for this?

  I can rename images using another program, I have, but I'm afraid that edition played in LR adjustments can get blurred.

  But, to solve your problem (I opened Lr). The custom settings > Select {sequence (001)} or {Image (001)}, then add your text string.

  I too have the more contrarian time with batch rename. Once in Br, I renamed over 1000 files with their time shot (I'm done with a thirteen digit string that would be specific to the millisecond).

• edit proxy files?

  IM using CS3 and I'm hoping for some suggestions, advice etc about a change I would try soon...

  I think to edit a video from VOB files (renamed mpeg they open in CS3 fine - and with some setting I get audio files on the timeline in sync too...)

  The original material is on mini DV tape, but the guy who has this tape cannot capture this moment and upload FTP for me to get... 4 hours... ugh...

  so I can use the VOB files, make my edit, then later bring the (HUGE bytecount) video capture (split to closely represent the 1.4 gig VOB file lengths) and paste the attributes to change it in the new files?

  Basically use the VOB files as files proxy to change, then the best quality captured video tool later?

  Special tips / advice?   Materials in different locations OK or that they must be in the same folders to fewer problems with inherit attributes?

• Export to CS3-mpeg2-dvd files

  Hi and thanks for your help on this...

  I just exported since media encoder cs3, a clip of 90 s of graphics and sound to a project that is set up for avi type 2 dv ntsc 720x480i, lower field first in high dvd quality mpeg2, dolby... I changed to pcm dolby and went from 4 to 5 and let quality bitrate default values...

  It generated 4 files with these extensions:

  M2V

  M2v.xmpses

  WAV

  XMP

  When I double click on files support classic m2v opens the file and play and it is superb and the sound is good.

  When I file in gspot m2v file it says it's a video file (without audio).

  I will burn a DVD later and am new to this... so I'm not really used to the types of programs to create DVD file require for the BEST dvd quality... and was wondering... How are the related files (wav and m2v)... .by which another file generated and is - it normal to expect a DVD program created to recognize (apparently demuxed during export?) audio and video files.  Thank you!

  At the end of the day, it's bitrate, and depends on how much you put on the disc.  When I don't know how the menus will take, I like to leave again to decide the bitrates.  If I don't have much, I use a relatively high rate of CBR and can I export a soul or simply send again and set the bitrate there.

  Given that I don't have the encoder dolby in first, if I'm not going to even with an avi file, I do like you did: décimalisé export, so I have a m2v and wav.  the xmpses handles things like chapter information.  In most cases, you don't see a difference without these files, but if everything works well, keep them.

  In, if "import you as timeline" it will bring in the m2v and wav.  Some programs may require you to provide them separately and bind.

  Note that if you do a test with a very small file disc, you may need to key the disc with rom content to get a drive that will test correctly.

  You're in luck!  Because again, you have the credentials and know where they are!  When you answered first saying there were individual files, first re-related to these files, and they went into the timeline.  So that's good.

  Just so that you understand, you determine where the assets will live (resident) for your project. There is no default folder or directory. And if, once you have imported your files first, you move them to another location, first will lose the link to these files.  That's why he asked where they were.

  At the time, understand you your flow of work and required disk space, etc., will come with a way to put your goods and the project file somewhere where they don't have to be moved... .at less time than working on the project...

  Oddly looks like illustrator gives you an object "file specification" obsolete (fss class means that), which I think it has been deprecated since snow leopard. Since I can't test it right now you can change this line to:

  the value theOutdatedPathObj the path to the file in the active document

  the path (path of POSIX theOutdatedPathObj) value as string

  It will be useful.
