  Today I got a message to update on my compact Sony Xperia Z3. I started the update, and after you download it, my phone off to install it. However, the only thing I got is an Error Message ("ERROR - update failed') with a dead-Man Android.   You may need to perform a repair of software using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1 to 2 hours until the device has so at least 60% battery.

  Make sure that the device is not connected to the computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press the power button / stop and volume until what the machine vibrates 3 times or on some devices, it must push the small button near the tray on the back of the camera or SIM).

  Open PC companion-> support area-> update phone software / Tablet-> repair my phone/Tablet blue highlighted. Follow the steps, do not plug your phone until you are prompted to press volume down while plugging in the USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you may need to run Windows 7 compatibility mode (in some cases XP).

  You must contact Adobe Support by chat or phone when you have the serial number and activation problems.  They have the ability to disable lost installation.

• Phone dead after 1.1.0?

  OK, I am posting this on behalf of my brother. His father was running the 1.1.0 update and it auto-redémarré so that the changes take effect. Now when he comes on he's sitting at the screen "palm" for awhile... then hits the main screen for about 2 seconds and then auto-redémarre. It keeps doing this restart loop until he turned off the phone. Any ideas on how to get the phone to 1.1.0 pre-order work? My update works perfectly. Why his has not, I don't know.

  Hello and welcome to the forums-

  At this point, looks like there was a problem, whereas the update and we need to use webOS Doctor tool found at www.palm.com/rom to restore the phone.

  There is an additional step that must be taken to allow the doctor to work however. Because the phone is currently set to zero, the program don't recognize not to the point where you will be asked to connect the unit. To work around this problem, there is a USB update mode, which is accessible by:

  (1) remove the battery
  (2) press and hold the volume up button
  (3) plug the USB cable in the wall charger and insert the USB cable into the pre. (you can see a picture of a battery and a question mark at this point)
  (4) Insert the battery.
  (5) release the volume up button.

  At this point, you will see a symbol of "USB" full screen, instead of the normal little USB symbol on a picture of the Pre. DO NOT CONNECT THE PRE TO YOUR PC AGAIN. Once the webOS Doctor ask you to plug in the Meadow, take the wall charger USB cable and plug it into your USB port on the PC. The "new hardware found" Wizard and installing the drivers 'Novacom. After that is over, the button 'Next' light up on webOS Doctor and allows to complete the repair of your device.

  OK, the story of the life here! I just got back from running, and I was very muddy, so I decided to take a shower I went up stairs to get my speakers and went to the bathroom. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  I'm trying to fix the laptop of one of my friends, but so far without success. It's a Toshiba Satellite with Vista.

  She had problems with a black screen after startup in Windows Vista. I found a work around for this problem, but it was a little complicated for her... She doesn't know much about computers. ;)
  So I but it would be a good idea to tell him to always use hibernation. However, when I put the portable standby extended, all seemed fine, shutdown, power off.
  I tried and then turn it back on. Light turns green, cd drive makes noises. Nothing more. Screen remains completely black. No sounds. Keyboard input does not work. No access to the Manager startup or anything else. He left light until I pass him by pressing the button for a few seconds.
  I removed the battery and put back in place, without result.
  Connection to an external monitor shows no results.
  When I put the original CD recovery Toshiba, no results.

  So, basically a cell phone dead. Ah yes, I'm in the Brazil in a small village, away from the stores of tech support or computer. Maybe a problem material, but all was working fine until I used the hibernation.

  My laptop could not wake up after hibernation too but I managed to wake up again.
  This;
  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.
  Now, you will have to wait a while 1 hour should be sufficient, but you can leave the laptop disconnected for a longer time (all night long)

  After that, you must connect the battery and AC adapter and should try to light the device if it will not help you then you are in trouble
  This would mean that a serious hardware problem causing this problem and I doubt you could remedy without any help from the ASP.

  You can extend the activation period of 30 days by running slmgr /rearm since the Admin command prompt.

  Then take a picture of your COA sticker with your phone, blow as large as possible to try to detect all the characters input for Activation.  You can also use a magnifying glass.

  If you can not use the key to product then you will need to either the order of the restoration of the factory of the manufacturer of your PC media, or if you have a C:\windows.old folder you can try to reinstall the factory to SLP activation file.  However we do not support this so you will need to search on your own.

  Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my WiFi router and I considered the R7000, but do want to not buy a router that drains the battery of my phone when it is connected to the 5 GHz channel and can't see any point in the upgrade if I end up having to stick to the 2.4 GHz I already have.

  I have known the issue recently, when connected to new TalkTalks router (from Huawai) and got tired of waking up to a phone dead every morning.

  I did a little research on Google and found that pilots Quantenna lacked support for negotaition powersaving to 5 GHz if this problem has been fixed. So far, I only found a reference to the R7500 having this problem. If anyone knows if the firmware has been updated to fix the powersaving?

  The R7000 relies entirely on the Broadcom and don't use all Quantenna chips.

  I turned on my PC this morning and after a few seconds, the monitor went dark. I bought the monitor a few months ago. I use a nvidia geforce GTX 690 with the latest drivers.

  I am connected via the display U3014 port to 690 GTX. I daisy chained a U2410 monitor to display U3014 out port. Both monitors have dark (because the U2410 is connected to the U3014).  I have a second U2410 connected directly to my video card. It still works fine. The two U2410s of work when it is connected directly to the video card.

  I tried a display different port cable to the PC. Nothing has changed. I tried the display port on the video card with a different monitor and it worked fine. Windows doesn't detect the U3014 display port. Windows going to detect DVI of U3014 to the DVI port on the video card, but the U3014 menu buttons will bring up is no longer the OSD to switch inputs so nothing is ever displayed on the U3014. I tried to run the monitor self-test as (by pressing the buttons on the monitor 1 and 4). Nothing appears on the screen. It does not yet look like the backlight U3014 is light. The power led lights up when it is plugged.  Also, I unplugged all the video cables to the back of the Rundfunk, reconnect the power cord. I just can't get anything to display on the U3014 including the OSD menu. The monitor buttons do nothing.

  Should I swap this monitor? How do I configure that? I am also concerned to obtain a delivered product to nine. I didn't use this form for a long time and waited about a year to buy it so that I'd get a monitor A03 new plant. I don't want a pathetic one refurbished with an A03 sticker on it and dead pixels. I have heard some horror stories about some of the exchanged units. I'm not happy, I spent more than $1000 on this monitor and worried about what I will receive if I Exchange it.

• Stability issues major iOS 10

  I have an iPhone 6 and an iPad Air. Both devices have the same problems.

  I have many problems with applications to crash and especially devices constantly enter a soft reboot State where the phone seems to restart all its processes showing me the circle of rotation for a few seconds. There is no method for how this happens, sometimes, I just wrote a message or go to a Web site. I could be a navigation map or scroll Instagram and the phone will restart just.

  I tried to do a complete restore DFU thinking that would solve the problem and there is not. I am running the latest version of iOS 10.

  Is anyone else having problems like this, and you have no idea how to fix this?

  I have very similar problems with our iPhone 6. We have updated to iOS 10.0.2 and now the iPhone 6 just turns off (as if you were doing a hard reboot) and then tries to restart. Reboot then seems to stick on cell phone rather than a Wi Fi connection. The serious part of this all is do not realize you that the phone turned itself off until, to go to the for use. We just had our daughter on the phone saying that she could not get any response until fortunately I noticed that the phone had extinguished itself self again.
