Phone dead after 1.1.0?

OK, I am posting this on behalf of my brother. His father was running the 1.1.0 update and it auto-redémarré so that the changes take effect. Now when he comes on he's sitting at the screen "palm" for awhile... then hits the main screen for about 2 seconds and then auto-redémarre. It keeps doing this restart loop until he turned off the phone. Any ideas on how to get the phone to 1.1.0 pre-order work? My update works perfectly. Why his has not, I don't know.

Hello and welcome to the forums-

At this point, looks like there was a problem, whereas the update and we need to use webOS Doctor tool found at www.palm.com/rom to restore the phone.

There is an additional step that must be taken to allow the doctor to work however. Because the phone is currently set to zero, the program don't recognize not to the point where you will be asked to connect the unit. To work around this problem, there is a USB update mode, which is accessible by:

(1) remove the battery
(2) press and hold the volume up button
(3) plug the USB cable in the wall charger and insert the USB cable into the pre. (you can see a picture of a battery and a question mark at this point)
(4) Insert the battery.
(5) release the volume up button.

At this point, you will see a symbol of "USB" full screen, instead of the normal little USB symbol on a picture of the Pre. DO NOT CONNECT THE PRE TO YOUR PC AGAIN. Once the webOS Doctor ask you to plug in the Meadow, take the wall charger USB cable and plug it into your USB port on the PC. The "new hardware found" Wizard and installing the drivers 'Novacom. After that is over, the button 'Next' light up on webOS Doctor and allows to complete the repair of your device.

    When I put the original CD recovery Toshiba, no results.

    So, basically a cell phone dead. Ah yes, I'm in the Brazil in a small village, away from the stores of tech support or computer. Maybe a problem material, but all was working fine until I used the hibernation.

    Any help or ideas would be very appreciated! ;)

    My laptop could not wake up after hibernation too but I managed to wake up again.
    This;
    Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.
    Now, you will have to wait a while 1 hour should be sufficient, but you can leave the laptop disconnected for a longer time (all night long)

    After that, you must connect the battery and AC adapter and should try to light the device if it will not help you then you are in trouble
    This would mean that a serious hardware problem causing this problem and I doubt you could remedy without any help from the ASP.

    This is my 3rd phone dying, Sony VAIO = mothercard dead after 1.2 years, Fujitsu Amilo xi = exploded after 3 years and now Toshiba HD after 8 months.

    900EUR up to 1600EUR, I do not see significant resistance of one of these models, Sony was the badest ever in terms of longevity of the video card and compatibility (unplayable games after 2 months, no update of the driver), keyboard 'paint' was a mess with deterioration after fews month compared to Fujitsu and Toshiba (no points). Toshiba L670 most recent, was the best in terms of game compatibility.

    What should do? Stop buying the laptop or use only fews hours a day with a PC on top?
    For time beeing I can't afford to have a PC + a computer laptop that I'm unemployed, surviving with 10EUR per day.
    time to find a new job.

    Despite this, I managed to buy the new book of the cooler Zelman for my Toshiba 40/50EUR all about, but it did not help apparently.

    In my opinion the answer is clear: no chance.

    In any case, don t think too much on the use of the laptop. Cell phone is designed to operate for a long period, then there is no reason to reduce the time to use on your Toshi.
    I use my laptop to work on a daily basis and it works at least 10 hours a day, sometimes one night too many.
    Just be careful that your laptop is placed on the desktop, the cooling fans must not be blocked by what it is.

    I do not understand your question, but let me go with what I believe. Looks like you entered in iCloud and erased all the content and settings on the iPhone, and once you go by assigning back up again, you do not see something that you expect to see, for example, a request for an Apple ID.     I have an Olympic Iconia A510 edition.

    The port of loading on the Tablet is not loose or damaged in any way, and the cable plugs safe.

    Am I missing something?

    I vaguely remember reading somewhere that if the battery dies completely that it causes a problem with throw an accusation? or I guess I read that?

    Any ideas?

    It would be likely that the port of loading is damaged when the cable was torn off and is it easy to repair / replace.

    Then.

    Stripped in the hope of finding that the port of loading was damaged inside... everything seems fine, no obvious damage from tearing the cable? nothing of another coward, break etc...  It seems that its bricks.

    Time to throw it in the bin I think and buy an ipad!

    You cannot uninstall CS4 from a cell phone dead... or other programs on this topic. If you need the activation disabled then contact Adobe technical support via chat and ask them to reset your activations... don't ask for something else or you will likely be refused assistance.

    Today I got a message to update on my compact Sony Xperia Z3. I started the update, and after you download it, my phone off to install it. However, the only thing I got is an Error Message ("ERROR - update failed') with a dead-Man Android.     I had the same problem with the first version of Lollipop and after a few hours, it worked to cause whatever it is. Now, I have the same problem and I'm starting to get really tired. Can't do anything with it, now already off for 8 hours, nothing happens except for the phone tries to start and this error message.

    Please help if you have had the same problem, I don't see more possible solutions.

    You may need to perform a repair of software using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1 to 2 hours until the device has so at least 60% battery.

    Make sure that the device is not connected to the computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press the power button / stop and volume until what the machine vibrates 3 times or on some devices, it must push the small button near the tray on the back of the camera or SIM).

    Open PC companion-> support area-> update phone software / Tablet-> repair my phone/Tablet blue highlighted. Follow the steps, do not plug your phone until you are prompted to press volume down while plugging in the USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you may need to run Windows 7 compatibility mode (in some cases XP).

    I tried this but did not work. However surprisingly I fixed it by leaving just the battery take by itself (may take a day or two), then load through an ankle and everything was fine. No data is lost. I tested it on twice and it works for my phone. But of course if I restart my phone now it will always dead temporarily. Could be a software problem.

    Always start with a battery pull when something goes wrong with your phone.  There could be something in the operating system that is not aware and a battery pull will often correct this.  To make a correct battery pull, remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace it.
