Stock L Android for phones Lenovo

There are indications that Lenovo developers are reviewing (or would be willing to consider) to bring the Stock Android L to Lenovo more phones potentially from the 2nd quarter of 2015 as well as the big update.

Lenovo Wangwei, mentioned on this forum about the Android Stock for models more Lenovo phone: "it is not decided yet, if multiple users have this request, I think that our Manager will consider.

So, if you are also interested in having L Android of Stock available for Lenovo more phones with Vibe UI, please click 'I HAVE THIS ISSUE TOO' below this message, or write your opinion.

P.S. How the current functionality works on Lenovo K920 you can switch between Vibe UI or Stock Android using any time without affect your stored data, Lenovo Apps (e.g. ShareIt), or downloaded applications.

  • Firefox for android mobile phone said app can access the following on your phone... take pictures and videos? Is there a work around? If not have to uninstall.

I have Firefox for my laptop and wanted to use it on my phone Android mobile phone. When I saw under permissions that the application can access photos and videos and can take photos and videos that seemed very odd. Does anyone know of a work around to keep the app to take photos and videos without my permission? I do not want to uninstall but can allow the intrusion of privacy.

We have a help article about why this permission is here: how Firefox for Android uses the requested permissions?

Specifically, some sites may give you the option to attach or embed an image directly from the camera instead of going through a folder of pictures already taken. In order to support this feature, Firefox requires permissions to access the camera. However, according to this article, Firefox will ask your permission before leaving the site to use the camera. I don't think I have ever seen this in action.

  • Can I connect my android for my PC in windows phone 7, but not to those at work. Scientists do not know why!

Can I connect my android for my PC in windows phone 7, but not to those at work. Scientists do not know why!

I am trying to connect to a machine newly built W7 who has free access to the internet and from the guys in IT is not locked down. But there is clearly something different from my home machine. Both are Windows 7 Ultimate on a home group, not to a domain.

I use an adapter Bluetooth USB 4 and can sucessfully pair my phone to work, but my application (remote Unified) says "connection refused".

I tried to disable the firewall and looked at all the parameters that I can find.

I went through the windows wizards advocatus - all of this without any problem.

I'm looking to help him find the source of the issue of refusal of connection.

    Hi Gutzy,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

If I understand correctly, you have 2 computers that have all two windows 7 Ultimate installed on them and the two are not on the field. The PC that is at home works well, when you try to connect to your phone by using unified remote right?  You can pair your phone with Bluetooth, 4 USB adapt to the work, but you are unable to take control remotely using Remote unified.

It shows that it might be the security settings of the computer at work. Would be better to answer this question in the Technet Forums. Please send the query in the link below.

  • DPS have demand for phones Android, the screen Force sizes and fix the other layouts to be smarter.

    Improvement / FMR. *

Short title for your desired feature:

Support for sizes of NORMAL screen and SMALL in the Android for DPS application builder. Better support for the forcing of the specific provisions on the devices.

How would you like the feature works?

    1 - Advanced tab

A: allows us to manually enter the

    Android: versionCode = "00000".

    Android: versionName = "0.0.0.0.0.

    B: allows you to change

< media screens android: smallScreens = "true" android: normalScreens = "true" android: largeScreens = "true" android: xlargeScreens = "true" / >

    values.

C: in the DPS dashboard, there should be a tab that says "force on all devices.

When we choose to publish size 1024 x 768 iPad we can FORCE it work on Android devices. There is a MAJOR problem with other layouts. For example, when I publish only a 1024 x 768 it works very well on Android tablets, iPads, but does NOT appear on the iPhone or iPodTouch. Once I created a 480 x 320 it shows on the iPodTouch, but also then overrides the Android Tablet and shows an element that is far too small, it SHOULD show the 1024 x 768 and NOT the 480 x 320.

The way I think it should work, it is simply to be able to create a 1024 x 768 and force it on each device. If I create a 480 x 320 for the iPod Touch, I don't want to appear on the Android tablet. There should be a way to control this. The problem is that once I created the 480 x 320, the Android Tablet decides to show instead of 1024 x 768, which looked very good.

Why is this feature important for you?

Because it is implied by the product as a feature and seems like a really important thing to have. DPS is awesome it makes my day, but I think that many of us need to be a little more intelligent.

Use the following steps to test this out:

Scenario A: make a publication of 1024 x 768. Publish it. Look at it one

    Tablet Android = great.

    Kindle Fire = awesome.

    iPad = awesome,

iPhone is not there. (should be)

iPod touch is not there.  (should be)

Scenario b: Add a variation of 480 x 320 of this publication, publish.

Tablet Android = FAIL shows the 320 version way too small, should display 1024 x 768

Kindle Fire = FAIL shows the 320 version way too small, should display 1024 x 768

    iPad = awesome,

iPhone is not there.  (should be)

iPod touch = great, shows the perfect size of the 320 version.

I don't personally want to do 5 variations for other sizes. 2 is not attractive, but seems necessary. It seems that once the pandoras "alter layouts" is opened, we have 5 and this is not desired operation I'm looking.

We hope to offer better control how different renditions peripheral target in 2013. As you get out, right now it's a little, ah, less flexible that would generally.

Which version is best for phone symbine for this phone

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S LT18 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255T which is a 1.4 GHz ARMv7 processor. It also has 512 MB of Ram and has a screen resolution of 480 x 854. Basically, she meets or beats the recommended minimum which is 800 MHz and 512 MB + RAM and 480 x 320. There no older 2.3.x Android but hardware wise it seems good.

It is also in the list of devices tested to save it as compatible.

  • My Sprint HTC Android mobile phone connects with the supplied USB cable, but the computer says 'No HTC Device Connected'

My Sprint HTC Android mobile phone connects with the USB cable, but the computer says 'No. HTC Device Connected' so I can't sync...

    Hello

    1. do you have HTC Manager installed on the computer?

    2. have you tried it with different USB ports?

You need the HTC Sync HTC phone Manager software.

Method 1: Try again with different USB ports and see if that helps.

Method 2: If HTC Sync is installed, if you get the message "no device connected" in HTC Sync, ensure that your phone USB setting is changed to "Charge Only" to "HTC Sync".

If the methods above do not help, you can contact HTC for additional help.

  • Different layout for phones BB10 and PlayBooks?

    Hello

In point 4.1.2 Android, I use "provision" and "release page-sw600dp" files to differentiate the schema xml for phones and tablets. However I can't use it to 2.3.3 as they began to support such feature of 3.2. And anyway, it does not affect that android is concerned because there is no Tablet out there with Androd 2.3.3 of.

But BB10 phones and tablets support only 2.3.3 runtime. So is there anyway that I can declare different presentation for phones and PlayBooks in a single application project? Otherwise, I need to make two different applications to phones and one for tablets. Please let me know what is the best way to support different screen sizes.

    Thank you

    Knockaert

You can use the page-xlarge for PlayBook and layout for phones, as you would to support honeycomb devices and phones in one application.

  • Photoshop Touch universal application for the Continuum for phones on Windows 10

A few days ago I bought a new 950 Lumia from Microsoft with Windows Mobile 10 which have the peculiarity of 'Continuum for phones' very useful which allow you to use Universal Windows App on a big screen and see them with the same interface they have when they are running on the desktop environment, but the app is still running on your phone.

With Microsoft display Dock (or others of another manufactuer), you can even plug in you USB mass storage devices.

For my work I only need Word, a file browser, a Web browser and an app with levels just like Photoshop Touch of Sophie photo editing.

I already have all the universal App I need, but I'm still missing something like Photoshop Touch and it is not PhotoshopTouch as a universal application on Windows Store (at least with levels).

If Adobe decides to make Photoshop Touch (or something similar) as a universal Windows application, I use only my phone to do anything and it connects on a large screen, mouse and keyboard when I arrive in my office, without need to bring the laptop with me and with the utility to continue my work on the road on my phone because everything is already there with the Continuum without need for multiple devices and a cloud platform to synchronize files on multiple devices.

Y at - there someone here who want a Photoshop Touch Universal App for Windows 10 just like me?

Well, I'd like to get a Surface Pro 4, then I could use Photoshop CC with it.

Photoshop Touch itself was abandoned, but there are already some applications that allow to fill some of the gaps he left behind (like Photoshop Fix and Photoshop Mix). The problem here, is that they are Android and iOS only for now. (I think not that patch has been released for Android yet.)

  • Pages Web for phones must be Apps?

I do not have a mobile phone that is turned on, the web and I have never designed a web page for the phones, but now because of the steep learning curve, I need a quick fix.

Read using Dreamweaver 5.5, there is a lot of information on the creation of best mobile sites, even if for the moment, I do not understand a lot of it - but it's my fault.

However, when I use the phone to someone else to look at existing sites to just designed for computers to display, the phone has facilities that make the sites available.

A lot of zoom and what is a pain, but you can usually view them.

It occurred to me that maybe there is a position to halfway between a site web stock and an entire phone application could be a blank solution until the mess of questions from the media, and other associated phones are hearing things.

    My proposed solution is:

Provide separate sets of pages for both types to appropriate sizes (max 320 wide for mobile).

Keep all the graphics for the pages of phone to a minimum and good size optimized to allow for fast page loading.

    1. on the index page of the site, put a big link to the pages of phone and the other on the pages of the computer as well as its easily seen by users of phones

2 design the page index and pages of telephone so that the content would be held on a large display of 320 pixels.

    3. at the first page after the index purely as menu screen, with a list of links.

    4. each link leads to a set of pages stacked that related series back, with a "return to the first page" on each of them, by the navigation being down (or up?) page.

To view the pages, the phone user will select the link of phone on the index page of the site, and then select in the menu to access the first page of a topic. He can then browse the game related pages and return to the menu from any one. The pages would fit most mobile phones, and no phone stuff specific wopuld be required.

I appreciate that this method would provide not the most sparkling of mobile web sites and would require two sets of pages, which is a maintenance problem, but it should help users of phone to surf my site until I can get up to speed with the mobile stuff.

Question is - would it work?

    Your comments please?

    Howard Walker

    Hello

Yes it works, but why not create a mobile section that is specific to your site?

As you have DW 5.5, this version comes with built in support for coding/page creation mobile jQuery. With the use of media-querys to present the site visitor with a link to your mobile when section using a mobile device and the creation of a jQuery mobile subsite your users with a mobile device should be supported.

Try the tutorials on the media-queries and mobile jQuery in DW 5.5 to- http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver.html

  • Do you need to be on the same account of WiFi for phone and Mac that allows you to delete photos?

When my Macbook Pro is on the WiFi and my iPhone 6 s + is on cell phone, I noticed that if I delete the photos within the program of Photos on my Mac they do not get deleted from my iPhone. However, a few hours later when I get home and check my phone, and I'm on Wifi for both devices, the photos have disappeared. Do you need to be on the same account of WiFi for phone and Mac that allows you to delete photos?

    Thank you.

Devices can be on different wifi networks.

Your question is that the phone will not be synchronized using cellular data and will wait until it connects to a wifi network, but this can be any wifi network.

  • Check if your operating system for phones had integrated all parental control?

  • I use my iPhone 6 very often to my office for phone calls.  This will help overall battery life to stay connected as I have all these phone calls?

I use my iPhone 6 very often to my office for phone calls.  This is my work phone.

This will help life battery together if I keep the phone plugged in my phone calls?

    Thank you

SUSE, you can use it while connected and in this way when you unplug to get somewhere, you know you will have a fully updated beautiful upgraded battery.

Just don't leave it plugged constantly all the time — weeks or months.  A battery lithium needs periodically some running through it.  But certainly leave it plugged during the day of the company while using it, or even just for long calls will do no harm.

Battery life is determined by the cycles, so if this reduces the rate of your phone through equivalent full charge and discharge cycles it can not hurt self-help (depending on how you use it, it cannot help battery life much either, but it probably won't hurt it).

  • The Lenovo digitizer pen works for my Lenovo Yoga 15 500?

    Hello world!

I think to buy the pen digitizer of Lenovo laptop ThinkPad Yoga, that should work for the ThinkPad of Yoga series, but this pen would work for my Lenovo Yoga 15 500? I don't know anything about the difference between the Yoga / portable and I fear that my model is perhaps not compatible with the Interactive Pen (or would not give as much precision in the sensitivity to the touch).

    Thanks for your advice :-)!

As the Yoga 15 500 media focused on the EMR Wacom pens or pens based on AES of Wacom, your only option is a capacitive pen that works in the same way as your finger.
