Stop, image, Firefox

Hello

I have a file in flash with 2 images and a 'Stop' script: it does not work in Firefox if there are specific images, I don't know what they have. But it works fine in Flash Player and Internet Explorer. Here is the flash file (this is a simple example):

http://puckrules.altervista.org/example.fla

http://puckrules.altervista.org/example.swf

The film should go to the 'cartoon' image (image 3), but in Firefox, it stops at the green image (image 2) due to the image on the frame 3, if I use another image it works fine. Here are the problematic image:

http://puckrules.altervista.org/1.jpg

What is the problem?

I have Firefox 3.6.10 (latest version) with the Flash plugin updated (10.1), on Windows XP.

Thanks in advance.

Add this code to the first frame and it work very well shud

Stop();

this.onEnterFrame = function()

{

{if (this.getBytesLoaded () == This.getBytesTotal ())}

this.gotoAndStop (3)

};

};

See you soon,.

    You can try the Windows 7 Task Manager.

    Press Ctrl + SHIFT + ESC to call Task Manager.

    On the Applications tab, all Firefox Windows visible will be listed. You can select each window allows the switch, then close the window. If all goes well, that will stop Firefox.

    In this is not do, click the process tab. Here, you may need to click on "Image name" to sort the list. Then search for firefox.exe. To 'kill' or block this process, you can right click on it and complete the process.

    I hope that this is rarely necessary. If you find that Firefox gets stuck in memory, often, he can be suspended during the shutdown, and we could look at why that might happen.

  • How to stop the "Firefox" account set up the tab opens automatically

    My default home page is set to Yahoo, but everytime I open a new tab from the home page, the "Create a Firefox account" tab opens automatically every time. It is annoying because I double tabs I want open and need to keep close account of Firefox page. I don't want an account Firefox then how can I stop this tab always open?
    Thank you.

    Yes, this page is to create a Firefox Sync account.

    In order to change the URL of the new tab:

    1. Enter Subject: config in the address bar
    2. Accept the warning
    3. Find the line browser.newtab.url
    4. Double-click the value (present value should be https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/40.0.2/firstrun/) and enter another URL or on: newtab
    5. Click OK and close all: config tab

    Note
    The pref browser.newtab.url does more than 41 of Firefox.

    This is for security reasons: too many modules and malware use this feature to set their own new tab URL.

    Then, you can use this add-on: new tab override.
    When the add-in is installed, open about: config, find pref [email protected] and change the value to the desired URL.

  • How can I stop my Firefox browser to prevent click on support of families, a program that opens an email announcements on safelists, to open URLS in ads by e-mail?

    Hello fellow-users of Mozilla Firefox,.

    I have send email ads using 20 different safelists daily. To get credit for sending these ads, I click on ads email sent by other subscribers.
    Since the beginning of this year I used a click income- http://www.clickearner.net/ - to help speed up this task. Click on support of families 'captured '.
    each safelist and open e-mail each URL announced in each email. It's very fast and I didn't close each tab
    display of the URL. Credits by clicking on the URL have been added to my lists reliable accounts.

    For a week, without doing me anything at all, my click income stopped opening emails automatically as was the case for
    several months since I started using it. Click support assistance claimed that Firefox prevented the program to open the URL in a new tab whenever it extracted an advertisement by e-mail. True that, yesterday, when I watched a click back in action I've seen a pop - up from Firefox saying something like 'Firefox prevented... ". "I couldn't read the rest as the pop-up disappeared immediately. Who was the only one
    the moment I saw him.

    Right now I have to manually open each URL to see the ad and win credits. It's a very slow process, all the same when I open emails in my gmail account. There is no need for me to subscribe to click income. And it takes forever for me to earn credits to all reliable lists.

    I would appreciate it a lot if one of you people would help me overcome this glitch. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you very much in anticipation.

    Kind regards

    Tom Graciano

    You can try to disable the popup blocker in Firefox.

    "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content

    You will find a checkbox for 'block pop-up windows '. Assuming that it is checked, uncheck it.

    This is back to the desired behavior?

    Every time my computer crashes or I have to force quit firefox, the next time that I open it, it will immediately try to open all the tabs I had open previously, causing the major slowdown and memory hogging. I have to force stop again for it to appear the normal restore tabs dialog box. Is it possible to avoid this?

    Set the browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes pref to 0 on the about: config to get page the on: sessionrestore page immediately with the first reboot after a failure has occurred or the Task Manager was used for the closing of Firefox.

    Which allows to deselect the tabs that you do not want to reopen, but will reopen the other tabs.

    If you reload the image every 5 seconds, which is probably what originally recurring flicker.  If you introduce a logic that says / image that is loaded with controls, you can use it to inhibit trying to load the image even after it's already present.

    Perhaps something like...

    var currentImage:String = "";

    function processXML(e:Event):void

    {

    myXML = new XML (e.target.data);

    for (var i: uint = 0; i

    {

    If (myXML.Message[i].@EventId is sampleId)

    {

    trace (myXML.message [i]);

    If (myXML.Message [i] == 'Welcome' & currentImage! = 'Welcome')

    {

    msgLoader.load (new URLRequest ("http://www.website.com/images/image1.jpg"));

    addChild (msgLoader);

    currentImage = 'welcome ';

    }

    If (myXML.Message [i] == "Completed" & currentImage! = "Completed")

    {

    msgLoader.load (new URLRequest ("http://www.website.com/images/image2.jpg"));

    addChild (msgLoader);

    currentImage = "Completed";

    }

    }

    }

    }
