Stop Refresh screen

Hello

Anyone know how to stop refreshing (paint, redraw) screen while making changes? I need to make some changes, which affect the display and do not want the user to see these changes until all of them have been made. I use Developer 10 g 1012.

I tried to comment on each 'synchronize' and put ': system.suppress_working: = 'TRUE' "but it does not work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Set_Item_Property() for example, which need not any statement Synchronize()

Yes, but if the appeal in a long-term action, then do not force a refresh of the screen.

I did this unit test in a form with two tabular blocks, each in a different canvas and a different window, the execution of the code for a minute, then in the end, the screen is refreshed

FOR i IN 1..100 LOOP
     SHOW_WINDOW('W1');
     GO_BLOCK('EMP1');
     EXECUTE_QUERY;
     LOOP
          EXIT WHEN :SYSTEM.LAST_RECORD='TRUE';
          NEXT_RECORD;
          SET_ITEM_INSTANCE_PROPERTY('EMP1.EMPLOYEE_ID', TO_NUMBER(:SYSTEM.CURSOR_RECORD), VISUAL_ATTRIBUTE, 'VA');
     END LOOP;
     FIRST_RECORD;
     SHOW_WINDOW('W2');
     COMMIT_FORM;
     CLEAR_MESSAGE;
     GO_BLOCK('EMP2');
     EXECUTE_QUERY;
     LOOP
          EXIT WHEN :SYSTEM.LAST_RECORD='TRUE';
          NEXT_RECORD;
          SET_ITEM_INSTANCE_PROPERTY('EMP2.EMPLOYEE_ID', TO_NUMBER(:SYSTEM.CURSOR_RECORD), VISUAL_ATTRIBUTE, 'VA');
     END LOOP;
     FIRST_RECORD;
     HIDE_WINDOW('W2');
     GO_BLOCK('BL_CONTROL');
END LOOP;

    Here's a suggestion on how to do a 'clean ': install
    [quote]
    For testing purposes, it is best to install Windows "clean".
    It is, basically, install the way that Microsoft intended (with the drivers from Windows Update).
    This procedure is for Windows 7, Vista is similar (but has 2 service packs)

    You will need your installation/recovery DVD (s) before you start.  Once you wipe the hard drive, there is no going back!

    1 back up all your data.
    It will wipe everything off of your hard drive, so what you want to keep should be backed up elsewhere.

    NOTE: If this is due to an infection, remember to analyze the data with current antivirus to another system to locate and remove malware.

    2. connect the system to the internet (if the system shows then disconnect from the Internet, do).

    3. use one of these free utilities to wipe the hard drive:
    DBAN ( http://www.dban.org/download )
    KillDisk ( http://www.killdisk.com/downloadfree.htm ).
    This will also remove the system recovery partitions - so the installation/restore DVD is essential!

    4 install Windows by booting from the installation/recovery DVD - DO NOT change any settings!

    5 visit Windows Update and get all updates

    6. check device for all unknown/disabled devices Manager - if there are unknown disabled devices, secure them with the latest drivers from the website of the manufacturer of the device (not the PC manufacturer)

    7 visit Windows Update and download the Service Pack 1 (normally under important updates).  Read these notes for installing SP1: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2505743

    8 visit Windows Update and get any other available updates

    9 download, install and update a free antivirus, so it does not get infected during the test ( http://www.carrona.org/freeav.html ).

    If problems persist, then the problem is probably with your hardware.

    Warning: If you have an Asus motherboard, check the date on the file C:\Windows\System32\driver\ASACPI.sys.  2004/2005 is a problem, 2009,2010 is OK.  Updates are available on the Web from Asus site.

  • Firefox 10.0.1 Stop/Refresh button?

    It is a way to refresh and stop firefox 10.0.1' s button two different buttons? For some reason any, that they are a single button for me, when something is loading, I can click on it to stop it, but when it is loaded, it becomes the Refresh button. I don't like that I wish they were two completely different buttons, as it was before.

    Firefox 4 and newer versions, go, Stop and reload buttons are combined into a single button at the right end of the toolbar URL or address. The button changes depending on the type of activity:

    • green arrow GB when you type in the address bar
    • Red Stop ("X") button while the page is loading
    • Reload (circular arrow) to gray when the page is finished loading.

    There are separate buttons:

    1. Open the Customize the toolbar by clicking the Firefox button > Option > toolbars OR by clicking View > toolbars > customize if using the menu OR bar right click in an empty space on a toolbar and select Customize
    2. While customizing the window is open, Stop and reload buttons will show separate from the address bar and the search bar
    3. While customizing the window is open, drag the buttons anywhere on the Navigation toolbar
      • order Reload-Stop will bring together into a single button
      • order Stop-Reload will remain in separate keys
      • or drag a "separator" in the window customize between Reload-Stop and that they remain separated
    4. Click done at the bottom right of the window customize to finish

  • Refresh screen 7 blocked to 53Hz flow rate

    My 7 stream is currently set to refresh to 53Hz. After asking around, others say that it is supposed to update the usual 60 Hz as do most of the screens. What's not here? My defective tablet is?

    Ok. I discovered that those who had screens with 60 Hz refresh rate using an update of the older bios. The features that come with new revisions of the bios, or users who updated their bios will change their 53Hz screen refresh rate. Given that it is expected and it's a software update, rather than a part of different material with different specifications, I won't pursue this. However, I hope that HP would be conditioned at least one newspaper of the BIOS changes if they wish to publish updates to the bios, so that we, the users will not get at least this sort of misunderstanding again.

  • Number of the stop, blue screen

    my computer does not restart. It's a windows xp just continues to display on a blue screen. It is said that a problem has been detected and windows has been arrested in order to prevent the damage., but does not restart. There are a number of the stop, but no error number. the number of stop is 0xoooooo7e (0xc0000005, 0xf924530c0, 0xf96e152c, 0xf96e1228). can someone help, I can't do anything at all. Thank you.

    If you have not recently changed hardware or drivers, this Stop error indicates generally bad RAM (memory). I like Memtest86 + www.memtest.org . Of course, you must obtain the program from a working machine. You will download the .iso image file to create a bootable cd. You will need a third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Then start with the media that you did (you may need to change the boot priority in your BIOS so that the optical drive is the first boot device). The test runs immediately. The test run for an hour or two--at least that errors are seen immediately. If you get any errors, replace the RAM.

    On tests of hardware failures often alleged swapping parts by parts checked. If you can not do the test yourself and/or are uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). Hi whutton4647,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. When you receive the blue screen?

    3. What is the message you receive to the blue screen?

    Method 1

    Check if the problem persists in safe mode.

    Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Restart the computer to return to normal mode

    Method 2

    If the problem does not persist in safe mode, and then try to clean boot and check.

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    I suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Reset the computer to start as usual

    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Method 3

    If you're still having problems on the computer, and then check the event viewer for the cause of the problem and post bacj with details.

    What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

  • Boot Manager is missing and the Messages from Stop blue screen.

    Hi Henry here, I lost my Windows Vista disk and I reformatted my hard drive to use my Windows XP. So I ordered a recovery Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 of HP Distribution Center System. When I try to install the recovery system. I get messages from stop and disk boot manager is missing. I have to buy a disc of Windows Vista all over again? or what I can do to fix this? Henry

    How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
