Stop the quicktime open .dat file
I need to download a data file with the extension .dat from a web page link, but when I click it it opens Quicktime. I looked in preferences-Applications to try to change the management of the .dat files, but I see no entry for them. How can I do it gives me the option to save the file rather than open Quicktime?
You can click the link to the .dat file and use ' save the link under ' to save the .dat on the hard drive.

Hello Mike,.
Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.
I understand that you have problems with a DVD, but I would like to learn more about the issue to provide you with better assistance.
- What do you mean when you say, 'I can't stop recording of data on a DVD?
- You talk about a blank rewritable DVD? It is specific to a particular disc?
- What is the accurate and complete error message when you say, 'this shows that a security error "?
- Are you able to eject the DVD? If so, what happens when you save the data without any disc in the drive?
I suggest you to provide the information identified above to refine the question and provide you with better assistance. Apart from that, you can try the mentioned below of methods based on specified corresponding understanding.
Method 1:
If you mean that the data you record are, by default, saved on the DVD player, then you can change the default save location as detailed below.
- Open libraries.
- Right-click on the Documents folder, and then click Properties.
- Click on restore the default settings.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the musicfiles, photos and videos in the library.
Try to save all the data and check if the number is reproduced.
Method 2:
If you have problems with the specific DVD when inserted into the CD/DVD drive, you can try to let flow the next fixit and check if it helps.

Yesterday, I downloaded Windows 8, and although using it was confusing I got the hang of it. Today, I used the computer again and everything was fine but then I stopped him and a few hours later, when I turned it on a blue screen appeared and he says:
RecoveryYour PC needs to be repairedThe Boot Configuration data file is missing some information required.Leader: \Boot\0xc000000dOT: After victory. Download 8 it won't launchI have no idea what is happening or how to fix it. Any help to help me understand and solve this problem would be appreciated.Met the same question from one day to the other - re install Win 8< week="" old="" decided="" to="" misbehave="" on="" a="" reboot.="" nothing="" untoward="">
In any case discovered that the automatic startup repair is less useless for me. He could not fix anything whatsoever after the diagnosis and just gave up.
However, resort to repair (start your windows installation CD) command line prompt, I managed to solve it with the command of the ffg on the command line.
Bootrec /rebuildbcd
More info about bootrec available using your favorite search engine.
for example, this site was useful for me
http://superuser.com/questions/451277/missing-boot-files-in-Windows-8
For users in previous posts with problems and have only a version downloaded to Win 8 - well I'd say that you yourself create a DVD of the version uploaded to win 8 - the installation program ask you if you want to create media - that will create a 4.x GB. ISO file that you can burn to DVD. There is enough information on how to do this just search online.
With regard to creating a way to initiate Win8 installer from USB Eh well I heard the ffg tool works with Win 8 too but cannot vouch for her since have never tried so its at your own risk.

Reg apply log archiving after the transfer of data files
Hi all
That I reinstalled the main server of the D-Drive E-reader data files using the command line.
The redo logs for the move operation will apply on the eve of the database?C:\>Move <source_path> <destination_path>
In addition, what happens if the data files are moved manually in the primary database (i.e. without using the command prompt)?
Thank you

http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/server.111/b28294/manage_ps.htm#i1034172
Also, you need to update primary database controlfile if some moment of the file made...
And also close this thread

Extract the last opening date of session using Groovy?
Is it possible to extract the last opening date of session of the user via a Groovy script? I went through the scheme, but I don't have the slightest idea how to begin to know where there.
Ideally, I'd end up with a list that displays the name of each user connection and date of last connection.
Try this:
msg = new StringWriter()
SS = server. SecurityService;
FMS = server. HaMembershipService.getHostName)
Msg. Append ("FMS; Foglight ID; Foglight roles; lastLogonTS; logonCount; statusDesc; logonType; createdTS\n')
(user) {ss.findAllUsers ()}
Msg. Append (FMS). Append(";")
Msg. Append (User.Name). Append(";")
List =]
for (secRole in ss.getAllRolesForUser (user.name)) {list += secRole.name}
Msg. Append("["). Append (List.Join(",")). Append("];")
Msg. Append (User.lastLogonTS.ToString ()). Append(";")
Msg. Append (User.logonCount.ToString ()). Append(";")
Msg. Append (User.getStatusDesc ()). Append(";")
If (User.isExternal ()) {msg.append ("external ;")}
Else {Msg.Append ("Internal ;")} ")}
Msg. Append (User.createdTS.ToString ()). Append ("\n")
}
return msg;

Hello
We know we need to do a backup of an oracle database by using the appropriate tool, in most cases the rman. But we have in our society, a person who helps us with the backup of all the databases oracle we have. Thus, in addition to the rman backups, we do a copy (cp) with the open database of all files in oracle database, (without start backup) including of course spfile, controlfile, etc.. My question is: can recover us my database using this copied data files? or are we just wasting disk space on our backup environment?
Kind regards
Melo.We're doing a copy (cp) with the open database of all files in oracle database, (without start backup) including of course spfile, controlfile, etc..
As EdStevens said, it's essentially a backup without value. When you copy files from a backup ' hot', there may be inconsistencies in the blocks of the file as transactions actively edit these blocks while the copy is made. Mechanism of Oracle backups hot managed by users is to put the database or tablespace in backup mode, copy the files, and then the end backup mode. Without this mechanism, the chances of being able to restore from this backup are very, very thin.
My question is: can recover us my database using this copied data files?
My question is... have you tested recovery? If the recovery has been piloted, then called the answer to this question. Please read the end of this blog post for more information:

I installed Oracle database on Linux 6.6, Virtualbox 11.2.0.1.0.
I used ASM for database storage.
When I want to perform a backup in offline mode. I stop the database data files and copy to the filesystem as follows (for example).
ASMCMD [+] > cp +DATA/ora11g/datafile/system.270.883592533/u01/app/oracle
The files copied with success and also any other data files, logs and controlfiles files. Then, I also rename all the files in editing mode.
After that, I used the backup files to start the oracle of backup (storage non - ASM with new pfile edited)
Open successfully from a backup database.
But when I want to use old spfile to open the database for the storage of the DSO again, a few errors have occurred as no data files in ASM storage.
I check the contents of the ASM storage with ASMCMD commands. And realize that there only spfile and controlfile located ASM storage and other files: data files and online redo logfiles automatically deleted.
Why the data files and log files deleted ASM storage? Is this normal? I have no delete all files of the DSO.
It is actually deleted from the use of the cp command?
Exactly what we say. Data in ASM files are OMF (Oracle managed files). The RENAME translates the DSO by deleting the original file.

Cannot open dat files in windows 7
the operating system is windows 7 premium. Since its purchase, there has been no changes to the computer. This problem has occurred since the first day. We cannot open certain file extensions on the attachments sent to us, for most of the dat files. I searched on the net for most of the forums help ms and tried the recommended solutions, to no avail. This includes saving the file, try opening with another program or try to display the file extension. Is there a solution or a fix for this problem?
Thanks for your help
These files are likely to senders using Outlook and format RTF owner of the bureau, which is unable to interpret other e-mail clients. Loss of all control files and two independent of the system tablespace data files.
Hello
Loss of the controlfile and 2 data files: February 25, 2010... 15:00
Database: in Archivelog mode
Backup: controlfile and all (6) datafiles on February 20, 2010 and all archive logs are available up to the failure
-Wanted to recover.Even if the controlfiles are restored from a backup, as long as the archive + online redo logs are available, you can make a FULL recovery.
At the end of the recovery, an OPEN RESETLOGS would update the controlfile with correct information about SNA sequence # and headers of files.
(Of course, the RESETLOGS would mean a new incarnation is created and log sequence numbers start from 1 - if you perform a backup as soon as possible after the RESETLOGS).Hemant K Collette
