  I don't really understand your question. The mass storage controller driver is available from the website of your computer mftr. (if you have a machine of brand OEM like HP, Dell, etc.) and is included in the card mother/chipset drivers OR you would get the driver from site of the card mother mftr. If you have a generic construction machine. You don't want to update these drivers from Microsoft Windows Update in all cases. If you installed Windows 7 and that you have not installed these drivers, this is your next step.

  General information on the drivers:

  Never get the drivers from Windows Update. Bring:

  1. site of the device mftr. ; OR
  2. site of the card mother mftr. If the material is on board; OR
  3. website of the OEM manufacturer for your specific machine if you have a PC OEM (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

  Read the installation instructions on the Web site where you get the drivers.

  To find out what hardware is in your computer:

  1. read all documentation that you got when you purchased the computer.
  2. If the computer is OEM, access the site Web of the OEM for your specific model machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers anyway)

  The manufacturer may not be putting the latest drivers on Windows Update again. Check with the manufacturer for the latest drivers for the devices.

  Download and uncompress the file in its folder.

  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus who need the pilot.

  Click the driver tab.

  Click on set to update driver.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

  While the pilot I know work is not made yet, I did some detective work and explored some other links from HP broadcom WiFi card driver files, and I found one that should work for you.

  He says that it is for HP desktop PC, they put the exact same form factor of the card wireless to a desktop PC in a laptop.

  I see not why this driver would not work, because the configuration file contains the same hardware ID you have posted.  Here's a partial copy and paste of the setup information file driver, and you can see the hardware ID you have posted is supported by this driver.

  This device is not the reason why you are unable to connect to the internet.  I suggest you find a PCI or PCI Express x 1 card network card and install it in one of the available locations.  I can't make suggestions on personal credit cards because you have not specified what operating system is installed. I'm fairly certain this isn't Windows 8. Your venerable PC is a bit too far back in the Windows 8 compatible PC platforms.  It's impressive that it continues to work after all these years.

  If you have installed Windows 7, then the simplest solution, especially if you have access to a router wireless, would be to install a dongle usb wireless for internet access.

  Now, if the driver does not automatically install, try to install manually as follows...

  Go to Device Manager and click on the video controller problem requiring drivers (usually listed under the category of display adapters).
