Storage and the call of the values in the table

Hey people, I have a project of complex expressions whose ultimate goal is to place a large number of layers in a grid and then move each layer until a single point on the grid according to a number of factors animation.

During the creation of this project, I find myself wanting to take advantage of a kind of function array, I'm used to some programming languages, but I don't know if it is available in AE or javascript.  In short, I'm used to a table where you could do the following (please ignore the syntax, that I realize that AE uses parentheses for a different purpose, which we will return in a moment):

CREATE array (100)

Array (1) = 4.5

Array (2) = 6.2

Array (3) = 1.2

... etc.  These values may be inserted into the 'picture' (which is really more a spreadsheet to a table AE as far as I can tell) arbitrarily and then called.  As in, you could add array (1) + array (2) and get 10.7.

So in a sense, the difference between this function and an array of EI is there a "dependent" variable, whereas the EI table behaves like a matrix, where all values are independent.

Please note that this is not a question about the creation of value in an expression that persist over time.  This array is created and called within an image.  I was just wondering if it is possible to create essentially a variable of type 'list '.

See you soon,.

ARI

I don't know that I see the distinction between this way and the way of JavaScript/AE:

arr = [];

arr [1] = 4.5;

arr [2] = 6.2;

arr [3] = 1.2;

arr [1] + arr [2] / / gives you 10.7

  • public network for virtual machines, private storage and the service console?

    Hello

So far I had a pretty small facility with 2 servers with 4 physical network adapters each running ESX 3.5, a small box of EqualLogic SAN to shared storage and a few virtual machines on our network of regular reinforcement, routed, not on a private.   The network config was really simple.  I just put everything on real IP addresses on our network of building.

Now I want to move the SAN and the traffic on a private service console network, but I don't know how to do this.

Right now I use 2 NETWORK cards on each server:

vmnic0 is configured on vSwitch0 and has the network of the VM on it that all my use of VMS to talk to the outside world, and it also has the Service Console that uses Virtual Center and I use ssh to it.

vmnic1 is configured on vSwitch1 and a VMKernel Port and also a Service Console Port for iSCSI Software to talk to my SAN.  (never been clear on why both are needed to talk to the SAN, but doctors say they are)

My plan is to set up a vSwitch2 and bind it to vmnic2 and implemented a VMKernel Port and the Service Console Port for software iSCSI on the 10.x.x.x network, set up my new (larger) SAN box on the 10.x.x.x network and simply use Storage vMotion to move virtual machines to the new storage space.  As soon as I did this, I would like to not use the Service Console on vSwitch2 and not a Console Service at all on vSwitch0.  Is it possible to delete the one on vSwitch0 and just use a new vSwitch2 for Virtual Center and ssh access?

So my proposed configuration would be:

vSwitch0: VM network only, used by the VM guests for oriented public access network, no construction of Network Service Console, linked to vmnic0

vSwitch1: superfluous once I do storage vMotion of everything on my old SAN, will eventually remove and pair vmnic 1 with vmnic0, linked to vmnic1

vSwitch2: VMKernel and Service Console on the network 10.x.x.x, used to access the new SAN, used by Virtual Center to access the ESX, used to SSH in to ESX on private network, associated vmnic2

    If it works?

    Thank you.

    Hello

VMkernel ports cannot live on the same subnet. So if you have 3 vmkernel ports say: vMotion, iSCSI and NFS. You really need 3 subnets. 1 for each vmkernel port.

Otherwise how does he know all send properly?

  • Switch between the graph and the table as in the DAQ Assistant

I was wondering if it is possible or if anyone has any success making a user interface, such as the DAQ Assistant, where you can switch between a graphical output or an array of the recorded signals.  I would like to have this feature in my code .VI.  From now on, I'm just a waveform graph in my front panel.  I'd love to be able to alternate between this waverform table and a table of output values. I have attached a few screenshots to explain what I mean.

    Hello

Personally, I like the TAB ideas that have been validated, but you can also use property nodes and the visible value.

    Good luck.

    Steven

  • Why don't the graph and the table of the DAQ Assistant, when it is run more than once

I have a vi that collects data and the poster. When I press the run button, it collects data as expected. But, if I changed the samples or the rate and press the run button, it collects data on the previous values of the sample and rate. I have the release of the vi and run it again to perceive in the correct values of the sample and rate.

I plugged it without the DAQ Assistant and everything works as expected. Thanks for your help. Now, just curious as to why DAQ Assistant does not work well.

    Thanks again!

  • Upgrade and the table

I have Dreamweaver MX, and I wonder about you guys, if it's worth the upgrade for Mac running Tiger. Working on an idea for a site, I would like to know if the table are dead have been replaced by then call CSS with layers or am I wrong? My last bit of the site were conducted with tables, I was told it faster with a CSS stylesheet, then please advise me.

    Hey Simonart,.

Tables are dead? 'No' to use arrays? 'No '.

Learn how to use xhtml and CSS standards to build your sites if:
    1. you want a good job in the web design business
    2. you want to expand your knowledge.

This does not mean the use of layers that means build your site using div and css positioning.

I used the tables a few years ago and decided to try my hand at building a website using only the div tags and I have not gained and will never be.

I learned everything here forums people like Murry 'ACE' and places such as alistapart.com, css centering by Dan Cederholm MM http://www.simplebits.com/notebook/2004/09/08/centering.html.

    Dreamweaver MX vs Dreamweaver 8.0

If you go xhtml and CSS layout then MX is good because you will spend more time in code view, then anywhere else and that's the way we have to. I would wait for the next version of DW to see were Adobe is going with her.

Learn to code by hand, CSS, XHTML (XHTML essentially using H1, P, Li, DD, etc the way they are supposed to serve. for example)

This is used for headers< 1="">

Some developers use tables for what they were intended to contain data of the table that you would see in a spreadsheet, but this can also be done with css.

    Well, I hope this helps.

  • How to export a table and the table as an image?

My VI generates a table (formatted with different colors of text and cell), plus a text box, as well as a table (formatting with a background color).

I can group these objects on the front panel and copy them as a single unit, and paste them into PowerPoint.

Is it possible to do this automatically, have labVIEW group together them as a single object and export it as an image file with the name of the file in the form of control? See the example attached VI and the image below:

Here's a way to do it.

    1. create a decoration on the FP that surrounds the controls

2 get a reference to the decoration and the MasterBoundRect property to define a subset of the image of the public Service

    3. save the subset of the image

You can color the transparent decoration to hide it if you wish.

If the method works for you, there are more complex and yet robust methods to get the reference of the decoration.

  • Page numbering and the Table of contents

I have a book containing 23 document files. Document files contain the page numbers in the footer.

One of the document file is a generated table of contents (TOC). Unfortunately, the generated page

the number in the table of contents do not match the numbering of the pages in the files. Here are the details:

    • The title page, in a file by itself, is not numbered
    • The frontmatter, distributed in five cases use lowercase Roman (i - xvi)
    • The body of the text in the remaining 17 files is digital (1-243)
    • The generated TOC uses cardinal numbers of the book as a whole. For example,.
Chapter I is numbered correctly in the footer from page 1. However, he is listed in the table of contents
as starting on page 19, because this is the file real 19th in the book. I put the document numbering
This file from 1 properties and properties of Page numbering for the book as a whole to
      be "continue."
    • The style of the table of contents entries is correct. In other words, the frontmatter uses a tiny Roman and the
      chapters use Numeric

I tried to regenerate the table of contents, but this did not help.

Does anyone have suggestions on what is the way prescribed to do?

OK, I continued to read and this is what I found:

Set the numbering style in the document, and not in the book that we told you. Format > Document > numbering. Choose Arabic or digital. Repeat for the various chapters.

Save and close the chapters. In the book file, click with the right button on each chapter and choose Configure XXX. This is where tell you the book to continue the page numbering or restart at the 1.

Once this is done, update your address. From there, if there are issues, we rely on the logic of the Fm we use every day, and each of us can help you solve.

You must include the USER/ALL_CONSTRAINTS with USER/ALL_CONS_COLUMNS to achieve your desired results. For your specific condition, you can try this query.

    Select constraint_name

    column_name

    de)

    Select c.constraint_name

    cc.column_name

    count on column_count (c.constraint_name score) (cc.column_name)

I used USER_CONSTRAINTS and USER_CONS_COLUMNS. If you use ALL or DBA dictionary table add join OWNER condition as well.

  • White pages being inserted between the body and the table header

    Hello

When I fill a textbox extensible in a line of body of table with large amounts of text (about 2 pages worth) I get a blank page is inserted after the first line of table header before the first line of the table body.

I have attached a sample form that demonstrates this problem and also attached the sample text in a separate text file.

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

This is a case where using a table is more difficult. I created another example which shows how to do this.

Note that I put the version target 9 (I think remember me that the fields when not allowed out through)

pages in version 8, but I'm not 100% sure).

  • Ask about the use of MAPEXCLUDE and the table of wildcards in REPLICAT

    Hello
    Would give advice on this

I got a REPLICATE that is roughly configured as follows

    MAPEXCLUDE TARGET_SCHEMA. TABLE1:
    MAPEXCLUDE TARGET_SCHEMA. TABLE2
    MAPEXCLUDE TARGET_SCHEMA. TABLE 3
    MAPEXCLUDE TARGET_SCHEMA. TABLE 4

    CARD PINPAP. ------*, TARGET TARGET_SCHEMA. \ * ;

However, the behavior I see in newspapers indicates
only the wildcard is including the tables that have been expressly excluded in the MAPEXCLUDE

This is the behavior expected of wildcards? or have I misunderstood how wildcards should be used?

    Published by: Tensai2000 on April 20, 2011 16:42

You don't want to filter the source tables? MAPEXCLUDE should be on the tables of PINPAP, not the target tables.

From what I see after a few tries, "Delete" with NFS storage does NOT remove the data store, nor its contents.  'delete' is equivalent to 'dismantle' for NFS.

So, IMO, the link is a misnomer: it should be 'unmount' instead of 'delete' when an NFS storage is selected.  In other words, a display bug.

  • DRS storage and the ASB

    Interesting question delegate froom:

When setting a storage DRS cluster, is possible to add a specific attribute data stores in a cluster?

Yes. I did a lot of time. VSA data warehouses are simply NFS volumes at the end of the day, & DTS fully supports both NFS & VMFS data stores.

However the licensing question. You need to make sure that you have a license that supports DTS functionality.

Since we are aiming the ASB in small and medium-sized businesses, many of these customers can buy a company more license for DTS.

  • The addition of storage and the new controller scsi causes existing NIC become ghost

    Hello

I have two Windows 2003 Enterprise SP2 VM that each have two NICs configured to connect to different networks. When I add additional hard disks (RDM) connected to a new SCSI controller and restart the virtual network adapters one existing machine disappears (it becomes a ghost card) and a new network card with the default config is displayed in its place.

The result is that I have to go through the process of removing the ghost network card and reconfigure the new card with the correct network settings and connect to the correct port group.

Anyone know why this is or how to avoid it?

    Virtual Center 2.5.0 build 119598

    ESX Server 3.5.0 123630

Latest VMtools installed on the virtual machine

    Thank you
