Storage of Mirage on ReFS

Hello

IWAS wondering if storage mirage could be deleted on a filesystem available since Windows Server 2012 ReFS.

It seems that in ReFS, no disk check more is necessary and therefore, it can handle large data without error.

Is that what have tested someone who?

Thanks for help

Well, Mirage requires a CIFS share which must support alternate data streams (ADS).

So it does not really matter what is happening below file systems as is drawn using the CIFS protocol.

This is the reason why it works, for example, with NetApp, HDS and so on.

I really don't see why it shouldn't work if you share and access your ReFS partition via CIFS and it supports ADS but have not tested.

See you soon,.

  • System32 Config missing or corrupted system file

My Dell desktop computer came with Windows XP Home pre-installed already and worked very well until recently when I moved it. Now, when I tried to reconnect it I get the error message system32 config system file is missing or damaged and the computer will not start. He says I can fix with the original disc, but I never received a disc. I tried to enter the Options Advanced Windows and selected Mode safe mode with command prompt to log on as an administrator to try to restore, but it will not connect and keeps giving me the same error msg. How can I fix?

You can restore settings - see page 57 in the link:
    http://support.Dell.com/support/eDOCS/systems/dim8400/en/OM/U70350LRs.PDF

It is a destructive process of PC Restore so you first need to retrieve your data.

To recover your data files, the simplest method is to physically remove the hard drive from the computer and place it in and 3.5 enclosure external sata connection to another computer. This makes the drive in an external drive and you can then go and copy the files to your new computer. You can then copy them to a key for the restoration of the computer problem when you have solved the problem that the computer starts.
    http://www.Amazon.co.UK/Dynamode-inch-SATA-Storage-caddie/DP/B0029BK64I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1313963887&SR=8-1

If the computer that you use to post these messages is a desktop computer and it has an internal drive slot unused you could put the problem disc in the second computer as a secondary or slave drive to recover your data files.

You could pay a small computer repair shop to pick up the files for you, if you find it too difficult...

I doubt that it would be wise to upgrade a computer designed for Windows XP to Windows 7. Before you try this, you must run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to see what is not compatible with Windows 7. My concern is that you would be forced to accept drivers Dell Vista and that your memory and CPU is not sufficient to obtain a reasonable return on the system running Windows 7.

The error message gives an indication of what is wrong:

Failed to INSERT the object REF or REF user-defined view

In this case, you have a REF user-defined because you based the table OID of PARAMS on the PK.

Storage of such a REF is possible only if it is worn, as explained in the documentation:

    https://docs.Oracle.com/database/121/ADOBJ/adobjadv.htm#ADOBJ7393

    Like this:

    create the table envparam_obj envparams)

    scope for (paramref) params

    ) ;

    or on the existing table:

    ALTER table envparams Add (scope (paramref) params);

    SQL> INSERT INTO envparams
      2 SELECT envparam_obj (ref (p), anydata.convertvarchar2('FRENCH_FRANCE.WE8ISO8859P1'))
      3 FROM params p
      4  WHERE p.PName = 'nls_lang';

    SQL> select t.paramref.getname() from envparams t;

  • How to get links into folders to drive C (startup disk) to refer to items stored on drive D (storage only)?

    Good afternoon.

My apologies for what is probably a very simple question, but unfortunately I've had encephalytis, have a very bad memory and if forgot a lot of my computer knowledge since the last set up a new computer several years ago.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, I count a lot on IT with my State and so decided to update my old computer with something faster and capable. I built myself a new computer recently, with two disks in mirror of SS for initializing and launching the software, as I wanted the fastest answer for these functions. Then I have two hard drives mirrored 10 000 rpm, which I intend to use only for storage - documents, photos, music... etc. This system has Windows 7 Professional installed.

This is where my memory is me drop.

I need to know how to start the shortcuts from the menu links and desktop which currently refer to the 'My Documents', 'My music', 'My videos' records and so forth that Windows created on the C drive and instead, ask them to refer to folders on the drive D. I tried the expediency of simple cut and paste the files in question in D drive hoping that Windows would automatically follow that change and create the links required, but this does not seem to happen. In any case, doing so caused problems, and I needed wipe the readers and to reload the operating system and all of my software again.

Moreover, that Windows has already been reference to the files on the C drive, is possible to keep this association - as this is what Windows expects and would likely stop the least - but create links between files on drives C and D, so that when the folders on drive C are accessible through my desktop shortcuts they refer to the content of the folders on drive D? If possible, I would greatly appreciate a detailed guide, step by step on how to implement, as I can just remember how to do this.

Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Stephen Wallace.

Moving most of the shell, such as My Documents/photos/music/videos folders, should automatically update the location.  For example, if you drag the My Documents folder to another drive, it will go there.  You can still see the icon under C:\Users\Stephen\, but all the files you put in there will reside on the other disk.

Another way to accomplish the same task is right click on the shell folder, choose Properties, and then move it to the location tab.
Another option is the Windows 7 libraries.  You can create your own folder on your drive to another, then right click on your document library to include this file and use it as for the library's default save location.  Every time that you save in the library, he actually be saved on the other drive, yet easily accessible in the library.
    • I have an example on my site on the use of SkyDrive as a default save location so that the files that you store in your library will actually store up to storage online instead.  The same steps to configure your other drive as storage location.  See the steps or watch the video here: http://skeene.net/tech/sync-your-libraries-to-skydrive/

Please specify if you have purchased DC Acrobat or Acrobat 11 or upgrade you to the latest patch for Acrobat 11, that is to say 11.0.11 so that we can help you accordingly.

I wonder if you have checked your system requirements before you download Acrobat.

I would also ask to share with you the screenshot of the error message with us.

You could probably uninstall Acrobat using cleaning tool. Here is the link for the same thing.

Are you sure they are 'phones '?

Check the headers.  They say 'storage '?  Referring to the current iPad that you use.  The other said "iCloud"?  Who has very different content and does not refer to any device iOS at all - it refers to your iCloud-storage space.

So in fact, there is no "phones" shown here at all.

    Hello

I doubt you will find a driver for "mass storage device.
Why, because this feature is only supported by Vista and so drivers XP don t exist.

    Check this doc from Toshiba:
[No driver Windows XP for PCI memory controller | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB83023N0000R01.htm]

    You will find this:
+ After the installation of Windows XP, there might be a yellow exclamation by a "PCI memory controller" or * "Mass storage controller" * in Device Manager. +
+ This unit is probably the module of Robson former Turbo Memory. +
+ This hardware will only supported by Windows Vista. +

  • Cannot write via command Ref to class VI

    LV2013 SP1, Win7

I'm an old LabVIEW and OOP in other languages, but fairly new to LVOOP.

This code worked fine until I put the part of the user interface in a CLASS.

I'm trying to read a file (PDM) and complete a series of controls WITHOUT KNOWING THEIR DATA TYPES.

Simply pass an array of the refs control to a VI and tell more later to save to a file.  The VI built the control label TDMS property names and gets their values as variants, able to write to a file.

During playback, the names in the file are matched to control labels and controls MUST BE filled.

As I said, it worked fine until I put it in a CLASS.

Here's the user interface in question - there are four controls that I wish to backup/restore.

    It is a category.

I collect four references and to a method of CLASS PARENT

Here is the method of the PARENT class - it's simply the arbiters of control to a method without class, who remembers them via a id 'signature'

Here is the part READING this property Storage Manager.

All the properties of the file have been read in the tables.  Here we corresponds to a given control name with the name of the file and set the value of control once we find a matching name.

But it does not work.  The value of the control is not changed.

Here is an extract from log debugging:

I KNOW that the Ref of the order is correct, because the NAME who has logged from the REF CONTROL itself.  The names are not stored.

The VALUE in the debug log from the file.

    There is no error reported.

But just what is the control on the Panel is NOT affected.

The setting of the green label text color is just an attempt to debug - it does NOT affect the control either.

Is there some kind of security "Shield" which prevents me from writing to a control inside a class?

Looks like which should cause an error, as appropriate.

Yet once, it worked very well until the classes participated...

    Something else I'm missing?

    I guess I can:

1... open a separate reference (and then close) just to get the size of the screen.

2... spend a REF for the SECONDARY in the class, and have the method of the user interface fit into the secondary.

    Hello

I have a few questions about how to manage and store data.

I am witing a calibration software where I need to display the chart with the probes.

then table of current vs probe 10 times Ref then calculations such as average, sigma, then conversion and data storage.

Using data from the previous program files, I have identified a type of format.

I reproduced it as a cluster with cluster as table follows this im using as a temporary variable when acquiring and pending approval of the user.

After that I'll have to move from cluster to a vi convert txt to be operated by another application.

    My question is:

is it a good way cluster using rather vs. string table

one is typed so much more easy don't make mistake affecting each measure and the data calculated in the right place

but less if the cluster size has to change

with an array of strings, change can be easier but it is easy to make the mistake of index and by placing it in the wrong cell

    What would you use?

    Best regards

    Tinnitus

    Attached cluster VI

While I agree with Mark that by using the software OpenG is write a much easier configuration file (in fact you can use the variant to the ini cluster just write the table once), it seems you are actually asking how to store data, no?  In this case, the format of configuration file would seem inappropriate if you plot the data that you need another script to extract data from this format.  If you try to write data that the customer can extract, then the way you suggest (without having seen) is not unreasonable.  Have that said, you considered PDM.  There are plugins for playback of this format for several packages of data analysis (Igor, Matlab, Excel, etc.) and writing to the file in this format is child's play.  There were converters even in ascii as others have developed on this site (I have not really tested it).  Anyway, just a thought.

    Hi MartySlaught,

    ·         You want to move the files in your user account on a different medium (external hard drive)?

If so, you can do this only for your personal files. You can refer to the following.

    a. make sure that your external USB hard drive or a USB flash drive is connected to your computer.

    b. open the directory on your computer where are the files you want to transfer. Press 'Ctrl' key and click each file you want to transfer.

    c. click on the option "Move selected files" on the left side of the window. Then select the external USB hard disk or USB flash drive. The files will be moved from the computer to the external hard drive.

    • Are you referring to sort records alphabetically?

The four basic methods to organize how your files and folders appear in Windows 7 include organization, sorting, grouping and changing your display. Understand the differences between these options will help you customize and combine them at your leisure.

My first suggestion would be to load the disc of restoration/Driver Toshiba came with your laptop.  Load the drivers for the SD card reader and card reader TI from the set of recovery disks.

Also, you can view the links to update the drivers.
