  Hi all

  I m new the forum and have the following question:

  I bought the new Toshiba Stor.E TV product that allows you to show images, videos and listen to music (all stored inside harddisc) via normal TV.

  I downloaded several videos via the software preinstalled on my Sony Vaio laptop, called "Click to DVD" version 2.5.32.08000. The program download movies directly from the camcorder and record them on the hard drive of the laptop in the .avi format.

  Unfortunately, when I linked the hard drive Toshiba Stor.E TV to the TV I have seen pictures of my camera (also downloaded) but cannot start the videos I m it just says for a second "piece", but that the changes to the main screen shows all files but does not start the film (even if I wait a second).

  Forge be great if someone could help me.

  Try the other files and try different film formats

  Unfortunately, I m Stor.E not owner but generally should not be a file format limitation since this Stor.E works as a common HARD disk

  Vista Basic can't read the DVD. You must install a DVD codec to play DVDs. Other versions of Vista came with a codec.

  I bought a HP touchsmart computer laptop and a DVD - RW external USB HP drive.  I can burn disc and play music, but cannot play dvd movies. It worked fine with my dektop, I could play movies with windows media player.

Insert a video DVD in the drive."  But a DVD is already IN the drive!  Anyway, my wife has exactly the same computer and I get the same thing when I try to use his computer to play the movie, so I assume that this is not a hardware problem, but maybe something is missing (pilot, etc.).  I hope someone can help.  Thank you.

• Cannot play DVD movies on due to licensing issues.

  My friend built me a computer and installed a Dvd inside player.  Unfortunately, when I put in the DVD videos, I can't view because of licensing issues.  I know that most other DVD readers can read the videos without these problems.  I think that my dvd drive is an ATAPI iHAS120 6.  Help, please.

  This is the message I get when I try to play the DVD.  "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with the digital copy between your DVD player and the video card protection decoder. Try to install a driver available for your video card.

  I think that these DVDs are protected by DRM, but they played on my sister's laptop.

  FWIW... Win XP cannot natively recognize Commercial
  DVD video... it requires a DVD decoder.

  If you could play before commercial video DVD...
  do a system restore to a time before this started

  I have the same problem. I opened the file in Cisco TAC week last unsuccessfully in solution, in my case the videos can play in flash mode in all browsers - firefox, IE, chrome, safari's possible new version. Silverlight and quicktime does not work.

  Try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  When I connect my Toshiba S1410-802 to LCD data projector and I start all the video (in WMP and other programs) that I see on the wall are black video window but all around is displayed correctly (i.e. desktop and other windows open). On laptop, video screen appears correctly. In summary: I can watch videos on laptop, but when I switch to the projector I see everything except the video (black window)! Any guess?

  I'm not 100% sure but I think you cannot watch video on the screen LCD and the external device at the same time and you can watch it on the LCD screen or an external display only.

  Please test. As far as I know this is a technical limitation.

  Windows has added a new update and now I can't play videos, youtube, etc., I noticed also jump between pages when having more than one tab or a window open when they surf the net.

  A system restore solve the problem, but when I start the PC again updates install again and I have the same problem. I have a dell with Vista as the systym of exploitation. Any ideas?

  Took a few hours to try many things and found that it was a combination of Adobe and in conflict with the new Firefox, Adobe authorized update, IE, firefox doesn't have to say that they had a new version that worked.

When I click on play on a facebook video, the video disappears and leaves a white spot. I tried MicrosoftFixit.IEAddon.Run.exe and MicrosoftFixit.Codec.Run.exe. They have not helped.   I really appreciate that come back you to me then quickley. It seems that I took the lead for good help. I kept exploring and stumbled upon the answer myself. Seems when I downloaded the drivers compatible w7, I have no drivers directx or direct3d right here. Once I had those installed, everything straightened and media center works as it should, all video files play much better and even much less agitated got streaming. Thanks anyway and I will seek for your help once again in the future. I share a DSL with someoneelse so until we get a router, we need to keep swapping cables so am not always online.
