  • Problem with the time in the calendar

    Hello.

My problem is that I can't properly store the time in the calendar! What I'm saying.

I get a date as a String form a JSON (ex: 2010-08-09 15:15) and I analyze! So far so good.

But when I store an event in the calendar with the date and the time, it is saved as 2010/08/09 18:15 therefore to the time zone of the device. Any ideas how to get the time from string?

    I looked like this:

    public long convertDate (String date){

    return HttpDateParser.parse(date);

    }

    thnx in advance!

  • How can I get the details on my agenda which is on my iPhone and iPad in the calendar on the start page window?

    Original title: calendar

How can I get the details on my agenda which is on my iPhone and iPad in the calendar on the windows start page?

It depends on where your calendar is really stored.  He usually stored in your e-mail account and connected to it.  That's how Google Calendar, Gmail or Microsoft Calendar + Outlook.com (formerly Hotmail) function as business/school Exchange email accounts work.

So long story short, as long as your phone and your calendar app are both set to synchronize with the same server (so the same email account), then they will show the same calendar as events.

If your calendar is not stored in a service that can interface with your phone and the calendar app, you will need to choose a new calendar service.  For example if you use only iCloud, you should know that Apple does not your calendar to display the application calendar.  Google blocks of even Windows users have the full calendar function.

So if you need it, my choice is Outlook.com (or an Exchange of Business/School/University account).  If you go with Outlook.com, you can use it to store your calendar and keep your iPhone calendar in perfect sync and there is no need to change your email address or anything deep like that.  In fact, you can connect to Outlook using the same account that you used to ask this question.

  • ERROR: Apple iPhone upgrade program-Apple store do not activate the phone or sell me IUP

So I went on the launch day after waiting inline for more than 90 minutes for a booking of IUP.

I booked an iPhone ATT 7 because there is no available T Mobile phone because I really wanted to participate in the program of upgrade.

This forum said I could just swap the ATT with TMO, when I arrived at the store - BAD!

The representative of the store Apple says if I booked a phone ATT should I start or use an existing att.

He could just let me no Exchange TMO SIM I had...

Bank of IUP and the citizen requires the carrier be activated in order to get their hands on the IUP program, he said.

Suppose that there is little money 'trunk' back-end that Apple and the Bank are paid by the carrier?

I ended up buying the phone outright without AppleCare and came out with a pay phone.  Sold the next day to a friend who wanted a 7 +.

So now I'm waiting for Apple to repopulate the TMO phones...

So beware that you can't just swap SIM cards as previously reported by other members of the forum!

I thought that the FAQ made quite clearly. - http://www.apple.com/shop/iphone/iphone-upgrade-program. If you wish to register by using the payment plan (my emphasis added):

When I buy with the iPhone Upgrade Program, is my iPhone 'unlocked '?

Yes. You can select a new mobile provider or stick to one you have. , We activate your iPhone on your choice of AT & T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. Once your iPhone is activated, it remains unlocked.

If you pay in full in and out of the phone (and not enroll in the program to upgrade at all), so no activation is required as part of this process, and you can then throw the SIM included and exposed to one of your choice.

Since it was announced, the program of upgrading the range always said that you can not leave the store without activation of the service with a participating carrier. However, you are not under any contract and can cancel this service, as you wish. Your device is not locked to the holder of the SIM card, it came with.

  • Birthdays don't no projection in the calendar on my wife's iPhone

In the calendar on my wife's iPhone, show no birthdays. The birthday calendar is active. Show on the iPad to my wife, birthdays. I checked and compared parameters three times now, but I can't understand why not to show birthdays. On my iPhone and iPad (and iMac) birthdays are presented.

    -Synchronize us contacts via iCloud

-My wife synchronizes its own calendar using iCloud and I also

-My wife has an iPhone 5s and an iPad 2

-J' have a 5s iPhone and an iPad 2 Air

    Hi lexvo

Another thing to check is Contacts. Birthdays come from the Contact info.

Is there a birthday entered for the contact, and are they are synchronized?

  • iPhone 5s not appearing is not in the calendar of events

After I created an event, it appears in the calendar for a few seconds and it disappears. When I check on the calendar iCloud Web site, it will appear here. For some strange reason, it's simply not appear on my phone.

    • iOS 9.3.1
    • All calendars are checked on.
    • I tried to restart my phone several times holding down the home and power button.

Anyone has any ideas until I have an appointment at the genius bar?

    Thank you.

    Hi there Moifa,

Sounds like you're trying to enter new events, but they disappear after a few seconds. First of all, I would leave the calendar and settings apps:

Force an app to close the iOS

    1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
    2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
    3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

When you have done that reboot the device and test again the question:

iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset

If the problem persists, save your device in iTunes, then restore it like new and verify that it works.

How to clear your iOS device and then set up as a new device or restore from backups

If this is the case, restore your backup either check it still works and just reinstalled software or circumvent the problem in the backup file itself. Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, let us know how it goes!

  • How is it all my appointments in the calendar as a whole has been deleted on my new 128 GB Iphone 6 S more?

How is it all my all appointments in the calendar were removed from my new 128 Gb Iphone 6 S more?

    Hey kow237,

I understand that you do not see your calendars on your iPhone. Let's see if we can understand what is happening.

The question you are asking is difficult to answer because I don't have much information to go. It could be that calendar events were not deleted and just not to run. You can see what calendars appear on your iPhone in the calendar app. Another suggestion would be to check to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars and look at the account and make sure that the schedule is enabled.

  • Entered the calendar on my MAC do not appear on my IPHONE calendar, why they are not sync?

I entered calendar items on my MAC, but they are not displayed on my iPhone.  I went to iTunes and sync but still does not.  Clearly, did I miss something?

How do you sync? The simplest is iCloud:

    • On Mac go to the  Menu, preferences system, iCloud and turn on calendar
    • Open the calendar, press the calendars if the civil list is not displayed on the left and check all the calendars you want on the phone
    • On the iPhone go to settings/iCloud and turn on calendar
    • Open the calendar application, tap calendars down and check those you want to see

Once implemented the calendar syncs in near real-time.

    Hey Bernaragon,

I understand that you are having problems with the creation of a calendar to your iCloud account in Outlook. Let's see if we can get smooth it.

For most of the problems with iCloud for Windows can be solved in two steps of troubleshooting. The first being to toggle synchronization of calendar and then put it back in the iCloud for Windows app. The second being would ensure that the Add on Outlook to iCloud is turned on. Take a look at the article below for more details on how to do these steps.

  • I'm trying to synchronize Windows Live Mail calendar with the calendar of the IPhone 5

    Hello

I'm trying to synchronize the part calendar in Windows Live Mail (Windows 7) with my calendar from Iphone (Iphone 5).  For now, they seem to work independently a few weeks ago tho everything has worked, nothing has changed and I am puzzled.

    Thanks for reading.

    Shona

I've never used an iPhone, it might be better to ask the Group of Apple iPhone.

But I'm fairly certain that put you it up in the same place under the settings you would setup your e-mail account.  Calendars are almost always synchronized with the same service as your email passes through.  As if you have a Hotmail/Exchange/Outlook account configuration, synchronization can be done by e-mail and calendar/address book.
