Strange SD card volume / mount point name

1. open contacts > modify a contact

2. change the contact photo

3. choose the photo Album

4 settings > enable advanced (default active) display devices

I see the strange name of volume for the SD card... M ^ IPNG ^ M ^ J ^ Z ^ J in my case.  Please refer to the attached screenshot.  Does anyone have something similar?  How to change the name?

Actually I was thinking the same... so before preparing your post, I took the SD card and inserted into my Mac... There 'NO NAME' volume name.  Then, I changed it to 'SOMETHING' and insert it to the Z3. Bingo... it displayed as "SOMETHING."

Now 2 wider questions:

1. Why don't Z3 display as "NO NAME" before?

2. any application (Z3 or Android app) SD card volume lable to change?

Thank you.

  • Mount point of the external SD card

The SD card works obviously, since I updated to 4.1

I can't find the volume with Windows Explorer ARE. What is the path to the external sd card?

    This clarifies the paths:

    The mount points are:

    / Import/Storage/sdcard0 /.

    / Import/Storage/sdcard1 /.

    /SDCard and /sdcard2 are aliases.

To mount all readers with davdrive, just change the path in /sdcard davdrive to.

  • BES10: Entry-Point-Name in the file descriptor META-INF/MANIFEST. MF is not valid

    Hello

We have a Headless, built using 10.3 SDK Blackberry app. It has two parts. User interface and service without a head. We are able to package, sign (using the certificate of the company) and test it on BB 10 devices. Up to now, we use chrome extension 10 BB playbook/App manager to install the application on the device, but today when I tried to publish the App via our system's internal BES10 I get following error.

    • The "Entry-Point-Name" attribute with the value 'Background to the ExampleApplication Service' in the file descriptor META-INF/MANIFEST. MF is not valid.

It seems that BES10 Server loved point of entry for background service but don't know why? It works fine when download us it via the chrome extension 10 BB playbook/App manager. Attaching sanitize bar - descriptor.xml for reference.

Yes, it seems that there are limitations on the maximum length of the name of the application when published by BES (25 characters). Strangely affecting 'Point-name entry' to less then 25 characters solves the problem.

  • vCenter for protection SQL Server Heartbeat mount points

Asking if anyone out there knows if vCenter Heartbeat (6.6) supports SQL Server installed on the mounting Points, this installation of HB is to protect the DB SQL vCenter.

The file system has a provision when the directory of newspapers and directory bin ect are each on a mount point in the same volume of index (g) (for example diskpart: ASSIGN MOUNT G:\SQL55_BIN)

I get this error when you start replication, and replication does not start.

Automated Replication Stop Applied : Use of Invalid Reparse Point / Microsoft Mount Point has been detected for the file / directory : G:\SQL55_BIN
As a result of this, VMware vCenter Server Heartbeat has been stopped with the protected applications left running.

  • Questions of NFS mount points

I have two questions about how the NFS mount points is in fact from the point of view NFS servers.

If the mount point of the 'outside' is considered as for example / ISO, would this mean

    1. that the directory is named "iso" or could it be a real name on the local file system on the NAS Server? (As in the names of SMB share, could be different from the name of folder.)

    2. that the folder is actually located directly on the root of the local file system, which is/ISO on the server, or would it be for example/dir1/dir2/iso and always to the outside as appearance / ISO? (As in the SMB, where 'share' creates a new root somewhere on the filesystem that is exposed to the outside.)

    ricnob wrote:

Thank you! It would be a typical NFS-Unix/Linux server?

    Yes.

So perhaps it is not defined in the standard how this should be done, but can vary between implementations? (* nix of course most common.)

Possible, but does MS ever meet standards? Even their own?

    RFC1094/NFS:

"Different operating systems may have restrictions on the depth of the tree or used names, but also using a syntax different tor represent the"path", which is the concatenation of all the"components"(file and directory names) in the name...". Some operating systems provide a 'mount' operation to make all file systems appear as a single tree, while others maintain a 'forest' of file systems... NFS looking for a component of a path at the same time.  It may not be obvious why he did not only take the name of way together, stroll in the directories and return a file handle when it is carried out.  There are many good reasons not to do so.  First, paths need separators between items in the directory, and different operating systems use different separators.  We could define a representation of network Standard access path, but then each path must be analyzed and converted at each end. • Following mount point

    Hello

In first Pro CC shortcuts "Following Mount Point" and "Previous Edit Point" seem to only work when the reference monitor is selected.

They don't seem to work when editing on the timeline, as they did in the previous version.

Is this OK or something I am doing wrong?

    Brian

This does not seem to make a difference.

However what I found is that if I change the default shortcut keys< pgup=""> and it works OK.  I just changed the a and keys receptive and it seems fine.

Seems very strange, but at least it works.

  • How to create a mount point on the esx host?

When I try to add a DTX200 with option NFS, invited to say "a mount point must be created on the host computer before being added as a data store.

    2 questions:

    (1) how to create a mount point?

    (2) how do I know the NFS Server works well and can be mounted by the host?

    Thanks in advance.

    Export of the sample:

    / flight/vol6/nfs_006 - sec = sys, rw = esx001:esx002 root = esx001:esx002, nosuid

Host names must resolve to the VMKernel interfaces that you use for storage (DNS - otherwise specify IPs above)

  • What is the number of mount points created from a count of SAN space?

    Hello

When the disk assigned to a database are local, I understand that for the same size lot and small are better than little and large for parallelism. Is there a reason to have a more rather than less mounting points when the allocated space is of the SAN and we really do not know how many physical devices is the space from?

    Thank you

Yes, Sysadmin will create mount point associated with mulitple Lun there depends on your standard organization upward.

    for example.

I need following the mounting points. My standard lun size is 25 GB. Point mount - dimensions - Lun
    TEMP_TS - 50-2
Online_log1 - 10 - in this scenario, they will create 2 (10-15 GB) partition on one lun and assign mount points
    Online_log2 - 15
    Data_TS - 100-4
    Index - 50-2

    LUN---> Partition---> volume group---> Mountpoint (FS)

    Hello

I downloaded and installed Voncerter Standalone Client 4.0.0 on a Machine virtual Windows 2003.

Another customer recently had a similar problem where the 1st volume cloning failed because he used a partial host name and had not configured DNS suffixes for the static IP settings of the VM assistance network.  Please check that.  If this does not solve your problem, then please upload the logs of the task (the "export logs... ("link just above the lower-right event log.)

  • Instance of A database clone on a different mount point.

    Hello Gurs,

I need your help I need to clone a 11.1.0.7 instance of database on a NEW mounting point on the same host. The host is a HP - UX box and my question is that I need to install the oracle database software in the new mount point and then clone? or cloning until this NEW MOUNT itself will create all the necessary software? Of Please provide me with all the documents that will be useful for the process.

    Thanks in advance.

RMAN would connect to the database if you specify the sys user specifying the user name.
In the command that you used

    "" RMAN > target PRODY auxiliary / ".

Default RMAN connects to the PRODY database with the sys user.

As said earilier, to resolve the problem you are experiencing, use the connection strings when connecting your databases if there is more than one instance running on the same computer.

    I have a small question here-->

    What is the difference between:
    $rman auxiliary sys/***@prody target.
    AND
    $rman target auxiliary prody.

    $rman auxiliary sys/***@prody target.
In the command above rman attempts to connect the target database with the sys user name and the password for the sys. Also you try to connect to the database using the connection string 'prody"that is mentioned in the tnsnames.ora file. For the above command works, you should set the ORACLE_SID to auxiliary database and use it later.

    $rman target auxiliary prody.
In the above command, rman connects to the target "prody" with the sys user database and later ask the password for the sys user. When connecting to the "auxiliary / ', it assumes you are trying to connect to the same database (prody) and therefore again connects to the prody database."

After a command, you can use to check the ORACLE_HOME details:

    srvctl config database-d nomBDD

    Also to check the path:

    sqlplus / as sysdba

    Select file_name in dba_data_files;

  • share volume mounted NAS network

I have a Seagate Black Armor NAS 440 directly connected to my iMac running El Capitan. The SIN is on the local Ethernet iMac and it can share its volumes via SMB, CIFS or NFS. I have a 'Public' mounted volume on the iMac by using the command mount-t smbfs.  The home network is wireless, and I can see all the shared volumes on the iMac to my MacBook (also run El Capitan), except the Public. In other words, I can see all the files on the volume of Public SIN only on the iMac itself. My question is how to access the Public SIN of Mac volume on the WiFi network? Or in other words, how can I share the Public get on the iMac in the other Mac on the WiFi network?

    You can't do that.

You must enter the NAS in the router, so the other machines can do the mount from him directly.

I'm not sure the logic to be plugged directly on one machine by ethernet.

But really, you cannot export a volume mounted remotely.

  • Installer ask mount point?

I try to install on a MacBook Pro 13 "Yosemite, but it asks for: "a disk with a mount point is needed"

Can someone tell me what it is? I formatted the HDD MBP and have an external drive with Yosemite and a Flash DRIVE with the software to install.

    Help, please.

It is unclear where you try to install Yosemite.

Open the DiskUtility to see if your external hard drive is recognized, you can force mount the drive in the menu drop-down

    DiskUtility > file > install
