  You maximize your file or it has to do with the dimensions and resolution, the resolution must be higher. There is no way around that.

  For some reason, it seems that the lines are blurred, but they are still there. I tried to do it in a new file with the same results, I saved the file in 2015 and then reopened in 2014 and it seems OK as the first picture as it should.

  I need the lines this thin for laser cutting. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

  Have you tried changing the settings of GPU?

  Edit > Preferences > performance GPU

  Turn the power off or tick improve fine lines, or something?

• Small race weight disappears in Illustrator project

  Hello and thank you in advance for your help.

  When I try to create a small 0.001 weight STROKE she disappears into my Illustrator project. What's weird, is if I go to print the document, I can see the picture in the preview window before printing, and it prints well too. If I change the weight of the race to one of the presets (example: 0.25,.05, 1 pt) they all work but not go to weight 0.001. If I do a select all each line is there and I can change the weight of the race, all the lines, but not in weight 0.001. Note that I have no padding in the document at all - only the lines that have been created using the basic tools and tools of Pathfinder. One last thing, my stroke color is RGB / Red FF0000 but I don't think that this has nothing to do with the issue of race.

  Hi Larry,

  I opened the file CC in CS6 and it worked thank you very much for your help. Curiously, he worked several times in CC Illustrator and then again stopped working properly. I'm guessing that there is some sort of bug or problem with this trait of small size that can be seen in Illustrator CC. . Anyway you helped me a lot here, so thank you very much for your help!

  I followed the path that you gave me and what I need to delete aren't there. I just need to keep six of the fourteen, but here's what I see, and none of them are on the hard drive, according to the instructions that gave me:

  I just updated my CC Illustrator to the latest version (2015.3), and I notice that when you use 'Save for Web' it automatically returns to the default value, which is GIF... I tried to create presets and repeat the process several times hoping that it will retain the previous setting I used that ideally is JPEG, but in vain.  The previous version of Illustrator remember my previous settings during export, but now I have to manually switch each setting time and time again.  I use 'Save for Web' a lot, so it becomes a boring potential nightmare for me.

  Any ideas?

  I believe you can reinstall right under the trial, use preferably the full path in three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist):

  (1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),

  (2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,

  (3) reinstall.

• Illustrator 2015 Beta

  I have a large volume of crashes using Illustrator 2015 (apparently the beta), especially when I try to save files HAVE that jpg using the function "save for Web". He performs regularly on two different computers running 10.10.3 Yosemite. It always seems that it is a kernel panic. Anyone else have this problem or found a workaround?

  A little more information here: it seems to hang on a regular basis when I resize art. For example, if the vertical dimension of my conception of 11 x 17 is 1124px and I resize the output to 2000px, the accident is fairly regular. I just recorded under 1124px without resizing and it worked without crashing.

• Deletion of portions of brush strokes that have effects

  I did a few brush strokes and to apply the "Gaussian blur" effect I want to erase the parts of the brush that span the outline of the drawing. I tried the command "expand appearance", but after doing so, it won't let me not use the eraser on the selected object. Don't know what to do! Very frustrated - I'd appreciate any help, thank you.

  

  Basically, you consider Illustrator brushes as if they were raster or pixel based as they are in Photoshop. They are not. You can not simply to clear areas of "overspray" outside the keyline. It's simply not how Illustrator brushes.

  You would be better served by A) using shapes and fill with a gradient instead of using brushes at all. Or (B) add a clipping mask to hide the appearance of overspray of brushes.

  

  The help files will explain the clipping mask away. Using the brush + mask will of method easily double or triple the amount of work required for any piece of color. Not to mention, possibly be responsible for the application to get a little slower, because it will have to redraw all the brush strokes that you add new ones. It's just not an effective of a large part of the working time if you want hard edges on the forms.

  Essentially, you expect the results based on the raster in an application based on a vector. You need to re-evaluate your workflow.

  Of course, you could always take your keyline vector in Photoshop and paint color here in the way that you try. This is what Photoshop.

  Is it possible to recover the files that disappeared?
  I got a folder 'Images' missing that contains my photos of 6 years, and I'm desperate to get back them.

  I accidentally drag and drop my pictures folder in a database online "Dropbox", but because dropbox offers only 2 GB of data, my rest more than 2 GB worth of images were not sync and consequently lost my computer.

  Is it possible to recover it?
